Ultimate Nightmare Set, page 80
part #1 of Angel's Nightmare Adventure Series
Picked up a Sub-Machine Clip. Contains 30 rounds for the Heckler and Koch MP5.
He grabs the clip despite not having a sub-machine gun as he can always find one. With his arm beginning to feel better and not wanting to leave Boris alone, he leaves the medical room.
When he begins to open the door, he hears a screaming coming from the hallway. Not waiting any longer, he enters the hallway and doesn’t see Boris. What he does see is a huge hole in the ceiling. Looking at the hole, he sees Boris drop down from the ceiling.
“Boris! No!” Angel screams as he sees Boris.
Boris is dead with mortal wounds on his arms and ribs. The wounds look like he was punched to death. Also, his jaw is completely ripped off. The only thing he can thing of is that Mr. Z is in the hotel and he is one responsible for Boris’s death. Boris’s body is covered in blood and no amount of medical attention will get him back to life.
He sees Boris’s MP5 on the floor and decides that he’ll make better use of it.
Picked up a Sub-Machine Gun. It’s a Heckler and Koch MP5. It has a rapid rate of fire and clear out a room of zombies easily. It deals slightly more damage than the pistol, but less than a shotgun. It’s rate of fire makes up the difference though. Contains 30 rounds already inside.
Sub-Machine Rounds: 60
After grabbing the new weapon, he sees an extra clip for the Sub-Machine gun.
Picked up a Sub-Machine Gun Clip.
+30 Sub-Machine Rounds. Sub-Machine Rounds: 90
The rest of the ceiling comes down as Angel is able to back away avoiding being struck. He lands on his butt as he sees the path to the rest of the hallway blocked. Something comes down from the ceiling and Angel is in shock to see what it is.
“No… it can’t be… you again!” Angel says to the creature.
It turns out that his worse nightmare, Mr. Z is back once again.
“How many times do I have to kill you? Who in the hell are you and what do you want from me?” Angel shouts trying to understand what is going on.
Mr. Z tries to punch Angel into the ground using its right fist. Angel is able to roll out of the way. The punch is so powerful that it creates a hole into the floor. He gets up as quickly as he can and begins to shoot Mr. Z with the machine gun. The bullets hit the monster, but seem to have little in effect.
-13 Sub-Machine Rounds. Sub-Machine Rounds: 77
Mr. Z grabs him and throws him into room 201. Angel is thrown so hard that the door breaks open and even takes some damage.
Condition: Caution (Level 1)
Getting up from the impact, he sees Mr. Z break through the doorway and rip the door off the frame. He fires his machine gun into the head of Mr. Z from the floor. The monster does flinch back a bit buying time for Angel to reload his weapon.
-17 Sub-Machine Rounds. Sub-Machine Rounds: 60
Once he reloads his weapon, he gets up as he sees Mr. Z walk close to him ready to deliver a punch. He runs as fast as he can as Mr. Z misses him and instead punches the draw. Getting on the bed, he shoots at the monster again on the head. Mr. Z sees Angel and tries to perform a double-axe handle on him. Angel jumps off the bed right away as Mr. Z destroys the bed completely.
-20 Sub-Machine Rounds. Sub-Machine Rounds: 40
Angel spots a butcher’s knife next to where he is on the floor.
Picked up a Butcher’s Knife. This is a regular butcher’s knife that can be used on a creature’s head to kill it as a last resort.
Seeing Mr. Z with its back turned, he jumps on his back against his best judgment. When he gets on the back of Mr. Z, he uses the knife to stab the monster in the head. Once the knife gets into the head of Mr. Z, the creature goes down. Angel is relieved when Mr. Z goes down to the floor, but knows that the creature will recover and will be on his pursuit again.
Looking inside Mr. Z’s pockets, he finds an ammo clip.
Picked up a Pistol Clip. +9 Pistol Rounds. Pistol Ammo: 26
With Mr. Z on the ground, Angel wonders if Luis is ok. He tries to call Luis with no luck as his call goes to voicemail. He sees that he just lost signal, so his call gets cut off.
“That monster might be down right now, but I know it will return for me. Even at this point I still don’t know what it wants with me. All I know is that I better be on my guard. First thing I need to do is see if I can meet up with Luis.” Angel says to himself.
He leaves the room and returns to the hallway wondering where he’ll go next.
Chapter 3
Once he’s back into the hallway, he sees the extent of the damage in the hallway from the fallen ceiling. He sees that his way through the hallway is blocked by the debris. Checking the other doors on his side of the hall, he’s unable to get into any of them. The room he’s able to try is room 204 and he finds it locked.
With nowhere else to go, he goes back to the stairway. He sees the stairway going up to the third floor is broken.
“Damn that way is out. Looks like I’ll have to go down. Maybe if I’m lucky I'll be able to bust out of the front door.” He says seeing his way up being blocked.
Walking down the stairway, he doesn’t see anything in his way. When he gets to the landing, a flesher drops from the ceiling surprising him. The flesher tries to use its claw to slash Angel. He’s able to jump over the attack. When he lands, the flesher slashes him again and the attack lands on Angel’s legs. The attack does a small amount of damage to Angel.
With his sub-machine gun, he begins to shoot the flesher until he has to reload. While he’s forced to reload, the flesher jumps as it tries to behead him with its deadly claws.
-10 Sub-Machine Rounds. Sub-Machine Rounds: 30
Not panicking, Angel performs a roundhouse kick into the brain of the flesher. The brain of the creature pops out of its head. The flesher lands on the floor bleeding from its head. Despite the gruesome scene, Angel keeps his composure and reloads his MP5 sub-machine gun.
Going through the door leading to the first floor, he spots a group of zombies in the hall. Out of the 6 zombies in the hall, three of them are feasting on a dead body while the other three are on the other side of the hall. He sees room 100 is open and enters without engaging the zombies. Entering the room, he sees there’s blood splattered all over it. Looking through the room, he sees a couple of bodies that are torn apart. One of them is a woman who had her had detached from her body.
The sight is enough to send shivers to Angel. Upon further review though, the scene becomes even more gruesome. Maggots begin to gather around the two bodies and feed on them.
“Oh God! Even for me that is tough to look at without gagging.” Angel says trying to hold the vomiting sensation.
Despite his best efforts, he end up vomiting in the bathroom. Trying to flush the toilet, he sees that the toilet doesn’t work. In fact, looking at the condition of the toilet, it looks like it hasn’t been serviced in a while.
He finds that hard to believe for a luxury hotel, but there’s bound to be one thing missed in a hotel. Getting out of the bathroom, he looks around the bathroom. There are a couple of pistol clips on top of the draw that he picks up.
Picked up two Pistol Clips. Pistol Ammo: 44
Looking around the room, he finds nothing else that proves to be useful for him. Exiting the room, he spots the zombies that were feeding on the body on the floor get up and begin to walk towards him. Saving his sub-machine gun ammo, he uses his pistol to shoot the zombies.
Still unable to get used to the recoil, he misses a three of the seven shots he fires. He kills two of the three zombies by landing perfect head shots. The third zombie walks faster towards him and tries to grab him. He’s able to sidestep away from the attacking zombie and performs a sweep kick on the zombie’s leg.
-7 Pistol Rounds. Pistol Ammo: 37
The zombie falls on its face. Angel jumps and stomps on the zombie’s head crushing it.
“Eww… that is disgusting indeed but at least I’m still alive.” He says to himself.
The blood gets on his boots, but he can care less about the blood. He looks through all the doors in the hallway. Most of them he tries to open are locked. Looking across the hall from where he is, he sees a door labeled Maintenance Room. Remembering he has the key, he heads to the door to open the door.
You have used the Maintenance Room Key.
He enters the room, although it’s not the room that is labeled on the map on the third floor. He sees electrical panels, tools, and boxes for the security system. Looking at the keypad, he sees that the gates for the front door are down. Looking at the instructions to raise the gates, he follows them until he sees the last set of instructions.
“The gates can only be raised from the 3rd floor maintenance room keypad.”
“Damn, so I still gotta find a way to the third floor.” He says flustered.
Walking around the maintenance room, he sees a pistol clip next to a memo that he picks up.
Picked up a Pistol Clip. Pistol Ammo: 46
After grabbing the extra clip, he skims over the memo.
Maintenance Room Instructions
“As a maintenance man you are expected to read this easy to understand manual. At night all you must do is make sure you lock the gates at night at precisely midnight. The gate must be activated from the keypad of the 3rd floor maintenance room.
At no point except for an emergency should the fifth floor gate be raised. If any employee is caught opening the gates to the fifth floor, they will be terminated immediately. There is a ladder to go from the first floor to the third floor and vice-versa for convenience. If the ladder should be out of order, there is a hookshot in the basement that can be used to latch on to the third floor.
There are further instructions for the hookshot, please refer to the manual when using the hookshot.
Finally, over everything just be a team player. Good luck!”
Sincerely,
Hotel Ivan Management
Once he reads the manual, there is something that ticks him off the wrong way. Why is the fifth floor off-limits? It seems the discipline for opening the 5th floor is a zero-tolerance policy. The language in the memo seems to tell Angel that they must be something big on the 5th floor that management doesn’t want the public to know. Then again, it might be haunted like the middle-aged woman was telling him in the elevator earlier.
He sees a locker that he opens and finds a couple of ammo packs inside.
Picked up a Sub-Machine Gun Clip.
+30 Sub-Machine Gun Rounds. Sub-Machine Gun Rounds: 60
Picked up +6 Acid Grenade Rounds.
“Looks like these acid rounds are for a grenade launcher. Hopefully, I can find one. I need it badly for that monster.” He says to himself once he gets the acid rounds.
Angel looks for the ladder, but it’s missing. When he looks up the hole where the ladder leads, the ladder is broken in the middle. He saves the spot in his head if and when he finds the hookshot. With nothing else left to do in the room, he heads back to the hallway.
In the hallway, he sees the three zombies who spot him and begin to walk towards him. Before Angel gets a chance to shoot them, Mr. Z pops out of the wall.
“Oh crap! There he is again, what the hell does he want from me? I gotta hide from him for now until I get some more firepower.” He shouts as he runs from the monster.
Mr. Z punches the zombies out of its way and sets his sights on Angel. He runs down the stairs to his left leading to the lobby hallway. Running as fast as he can, he reaches the lobby hallway. Spotting a small space under the stairs, he hides under there seeing Mr. Z hasn’t gone down the stairs.
“Oh crap, I better hope he doesn’t find me or I’m a dead man.” He whispers as his heartbeat increases.
He begins to sweat profusely as Mr. Z begins to stomp down the stairs. Nevertheless, he manages to keep his cool and he peaks around the corner. Angel spots Mr. Z coming down the stairs.
Mr. Z looks around the hallway and is not in a rush to go anywhere. Mr. Z walks towards Angel’s direction while he gets his MP5 in case he’s spotted.
“Oh God, please don’t spot me or I’m done…”

Preview of The Fifth Survivor(Side Quest)
Chapter 1
On July 7th, 2007 the first ever zombie outbreak took place in Brooklyn, NY. Four survivors were able to escape and live through the horrors. These survivors included Angel, Maria, Luis, and Joe. While most literature will say there were four survivors that survived that fateful day, there was one survivor that was never spotted or mentioned. He will always be known as the unknown survivor of the first outbreak.
This survivor is known as George Fisher and he knows the ins and outs of Hybrid. Behind the secret cloak he intends to expose Hybrid for their misdeeds from the inside out.
However, this secret survivor would rather be referenced as the “The Fifth Survivor”
May 12, 2007
“I’m George T. Fisher and my normal job is being the jolly janitor of IS. 302. The school is located in the Cypress Hills section of Brooklyn. While I love being a janitor and all, my real job is too dangerous to reveal to the students. In fact, I don’t dare reveal what I do at night, on weekends, and during my vacation. I’m actually a writer for the Cypress Hills tabloid. Well, my family knows what I do, but I choose to write in a pen name known as The Fish Master.
I got that pen name because I’ve been known in my writing career to be one to uncover some of the darkest secrets in Cypress Hills. I was responsible for putting away a serial killer all the way to a doctor who was supposed to be the friendliest doctor in town, but turned out to be part of a high powered mob family. It’s fair to say that my life is in danger these days. What saves me is my pen name. Many people want to know who the fish master is, but the only one who knows that is my third wife.
Today I’ve been assigned to cover a story where I interview a top researcher for the Hybrid Nation. His name is only Anthony Clark, one of the sons of the Clark family. I know his brother, Herman and he’s quite the douche. I hope that Anthony is not a douche himself. I’ll take my lockpick just in case I get hungry for more information. I’m a rather good lockpicker and cracked some of the biggest stories by stealing valuable information to the story. I never tell my boss where I truly get my information. He seems like a good man, but you can never be too sure.”
George is a man that comes from a well respected German family in Cypress Hills. Despite the area being populated by mostly middle class Latinos, he is still given proper respect. He suspects that the Hybrid Corporation is conducting less than ethical experiments and wants to see what is really going on behind closed doors. He isn’t part of any law enforcement organization. He’s just a man who believes in the truth and makes a good living off from it.
Despite his ethical nature, he still hasn’t told his boss what his true intentions are. He knows if he does and gets caught, it could jeopardize his job and life.
George is rather knowledgeable about the Hybrid Corporation and wants to see what they do when they arrive in his neighborhood of Cypress Hills. He decides to take his lockpick and his dart gun with him in case he decides to make this a probe.
Picked up a Dart Gun. Darts: 10
Picked up a Lockpick. Lockpicking Skill Level: 1
He decides to sleep early to get some rest before his interview tomorrow.
May 13, 2017
He heads to JFK airport at 6 in the morning in order to catch the eight o’clock plane to California. Once George gets to the airport, he carefully keeps his dart gun hidden in his check-in luggage to avoid being stopped. Despite giving off a little sweat, he gets through security just fine.
Once he’s in the plane, he relaxes and actually enjoys his flight to Cali.
“I’ll admit JetBlue treats me well and the seats are rather comfortable.” He says in his head.
After an eight hour flight, he arrives at LAX airport. He’s in no rush since his interview is at four in the afternoon and it’s only two in the Pacific Time zone.
George makes a phone call to his brother.
“Hey Harry, how are you? I’m in California ready for my ‘interview’ with Mr. Clark. How did you manage with hacking into their security system?” He asks his brother.
“Well bro, good and bad news… First the good news, I got into their system and I’ll be able to open some doors. The bad news, I won’t be able to disable the alarm should any go off and indeed Hybrid has something to hide if there is security like Fort Knox. To put it in simpler terms, it’ll be up to you if you want to go on with probing the building.” Harry gives his observations.
“Damn, not what I wanted to hear. I’m sure I could get through without being caught…” George says.
“I’m sure you could, but I have to say I would label this mission as ‘very risky’ and one that could put you in serious jeopardy. Trust me those 10 darts are not going to get you too far and how will you hide the sleeping bodies.” Harry warns his brother.
“Ah… thanks for the warning. I’ll see what I do, depends on the answers I get from Mr. Clark. Not much we can do until the interview is over.” George replies.
George hangs up and decides to hail a cab to the downtown part of Los Angeles where the building is located. He has the cab take him to the hotel where he will be staying in and heads to his room to leave his luggage. George decides to carry only his dart gun, camera, and briefcase where he has his pen and paper. Instead of using his real name, he will go by the name of Terry Bond.
After preparing himself for the interview, he hails another cab to take him to the Hybrid Corporation headquarters. Once he gets to the HQ, he enters the building casually. The doorman asks him where he is going.
“Hello sir, where are you heading today?” The doorman asks.
“My name is Terry Bond and I have an interview with Anthony Clark. He is waiting for me. You can page him and let him know it’s the man from the Cypress Hills Tabloid.” George calmly tells the doorman.
