The creature tries to use it’s brace and perform a double axe handle on Harry.
Press “A” and “B” to roll… Well Done!
Lisa performs a double axe handle on the floor missing Harry who is able to get off the floor. Once he gets up, he begins to shoot Lisa with his magnum. She falls onto the floor and Harry blows his gun thinking he has killed the creature.
Magnum Rounds: 3
As he gets close to her to study the body, she suddenly gets up. Once she gets up, she screams into the air in pain and anger.
“Holy crap, she survived that! I better get out; discretion is the better part of valor. I can’t afford to take too much damage.” He says as he thinks better by escaping the cabin.
With Lisa still with her back turned, he uses the opportunity to get out and run from the cabin. As he approaches the gate, he finds himself back in the cemetery. Looking behind him, he sees the coast is clear.
“I think I lost that freak of nature.” He says confidently.
As he leaves the cemetery, he continues to look behind him to make sure the creature is not following him. To his relief all he sees is the blackness of the forest. Heading inside he sees a note and below it a few pickups. He gathers the pickups first.
Picked up a First Aid Spray.
Picked up a jar of Gunpowder D.
Picked up a Pistol Clip. Pistol Ammo: 63
After gather the goodies, he looks at the note.
“I left you some items on the floor and I fixed the doorknob leading to the guardhouse. It was the least I could do.” – Barry
Harry feels better that the door has been repaired and he can move on to the guardhouse. Opening the door, he finds himself in the courtyard. He finds an herb on the floor.
Picked up a Blue Herb.
After picking up the herb, he sees a couple of dogs and uses his shotgun to kill the dogs easily.
Shotgun Ammo: 8
Once he kills the dogs, he tries to remember how the person in the journal got to the waterfall. Hearing the waterfall in the distance, he knows he’s close by. Looking to his left, he spots the small elevator and decides to take it up. When the elevator gets up, he finds himself surrounded by dogs that are hungry for his skin.
The dogs begin to bullrush him and he shoots two out of the three with his shotgun. The last dog is able to get a scratch on him, but only deals a small amount of damage. He tries to shoot the dog again, but misses badly.
Shotgun Ammo: 6
After missing, the dog latches onto him and begins to lick his neck prepared to bite it. Harry grabs his knife and holds the dog’s neck with his left hand. Once he has a good grip on the knife, he stabs the dog in the stomach killing it. He gets up and gathers himself while seeing the waterfall.
Walking to the waterfall, he does indeed see something metal on the other side. The pressure of the waterfall is too strong for him to break through. Instead he heads towards the gate leading to the guardhouse.
As he heads through the path, he sees a couple of herbs.
Picked up a Green and Red Herb.
He mixes a Green, Blue, and Red Herb to create an Ultra Herb.
After getting the herbs, he sees more dogs ahead. Pulling out his pistol, he is able to kill both of them from a safe distance.
Pistol Ammo: 57
Once the dogs are dead, he continues down the path and his radio begins to go off.
“Hey is anyone there? This is Brad, if you could hear me give me a signal or anything. Please respond!” Brad says over the radio.
“Brad! It’s me Harry, do you read me?” He asks and gets no response.
Harry hits the radio and tries to respond again, “Hey Brad, I can hear you. Please respond.” After getting no response, he becomes flustered and says, “Damn this radio is broken!”
He slams the radio on the floor breaking it, but he could care less. He spots the door leading to the guardhouse and enters. When he enters, he sees a blue herb next to him.
Picked up a Blue Herb.
After picking up the herb, he turns the corner and heads into the door to his right. It turns out to be the medical room. Once he gets in, he sees a reloading machine that he decides to use.
Harry mixes a jar of Gunpowder A with Gunpowder B.
He mixes a jar of Gunpowder B with Gunpowder D.
He loads the Gunpowder AB into the machine. +20 Enhanced Pistol Ammo created.
He loads the Gunpowder BD into the machine. +7 Enhanced Shotgun Shells created.
He loads the Gunpowder D into the Machine. +6 Magnum Rounds created.
Magnum Rounds: 9
Harry gathers some much needed ammo and finds nothing else in the room. Leaving the medical room, he heads towards the door across from him labeled Room 101. Using the key, he opens the door and enters. It turns out to be one of the bedrooms for the guards. As he walks, there are many dead bodies in the room.
Looking around he sees a key in a cup.
Picked up an Old Key.
After getting the key, he sees a desk that is locked. He decides to use the old key to unlock the desk. He finds something inside.
Picked up +7 Shotgun Shells. Shotgun Ammo: 13
Harry gets some much needed Shotgun Ammo and sees a red book on the bed. Picking up the book, he begins to turn the pages. To his surprise, most of them are blank with the exception of one page that has writing on it.
“This book may be blank, but if placed in a proper bookshelf the path to higher knowledge will be unlocked. A wise person will find this bookshelf easily.”
“Oh great, another riddle to solve.” He says not amused by the message.
He decides to leave the book on the bed until he finds the so called bookshelf the writing is referring to. Heading to the bathroom, he sees a zombie standing around looking at the mirror. Taking no chances, he shoots the zombie in the head from behind with the shotgun.
Shotgun Ammo: 12
Once the zombie is dead, he sees a hammer on the sink.
Picked up a Hammer. It might prove to be a useful tool somewhere.
Grabbing the hammer, he leaves the bedroom and sees a red door that is boarded up with two pieces of wood that is preventing it from being open.
Harry USES the Hammer.
Using the hammer’s claw, he begins to remove the wood from the door. Once all the wood is removed, he’s able to pull the door open. Entering the room, he sees that it’s a game room with a pool table, air hockey table, and some pinball machines.
Also lurking in the room are huge spiders. They are code named, Web Spinners. Oddly enough these spiders do not create spider webs, but they are 20 times are large as normal tarantulas. Just like certain species of tarantulas, they are poisonous as well capable of an acid spit attack.
One of the spiders is right above him and attempts to spit poison at him. He’s able to run from the spit as it drops from the ceiling. Turning around, he loads the enhanced shotgun shells and begins to shoot at the spider. After two shots he kills the spider as it bleeds out green blood that is rather disturbing to see.
Enhanced Shotgun Ammo: 5
Another spider comes from the side and tackles him to the ground. As he’s getting up, the spider spits its acid spit at him.
Press “A” and “B” to dodge… Too Slow!
He’s unable to get out of the way and gets poisoned by the acid spit of the spider.
Condition: Poison
After getting up, he shoots the spider once and the spider tackles him again. It approaches him and begins to nibble his neck area. Grabbing the shotgun, he blasts it. Due to the enhanced nature of the shell, the spider is sent flying to the wall. It hits the wall so hard that it breaks into pieces while splattering green blood on the wooden wall.

Getting up slowly, Harry begins to vomit out his guts. The vomiting turns out to be rather painful and he sees a sink where he could mix some herbs to heal himself.
Harry mixes a Green and Blue Herb. He uses the herb mixture.
Condition: Caution (Level 1)
He mixes water with the herbal mix and drinks it. He sits on the chair waiting for the herbal mix to take effect. After a few minutes, the vomiting sensation begins to dwindle and within five minutes he feels better. Getting up, he begins to explore the room better. Heading to the back, he sees a document.
Access to the Chemical Room
“In order to access the chemical room, there is a panel with a secret code. The code is rather simple if you know how to play pool. However, that is only half of the puzzle. There is also another part to the puzzle.
There are three candles that have to be lit up, each of them showing a shadow of an eye. One shows an eye with two lines on it, another has only one line, and the final only the eye shows. Also each of them has a color as well and this is important to the pool table reference.
Due to the chemical room being a high security room, this is as much information that can be given away. Although to be honest, anyone who has a high IQ will figure out the code easily.”
Having a lighter, he sees three candles in each corner of the room. In the left side by the door there is a green candle. He lights the candle and sees a shadow of a plain eye showing.
Heading to the back of the room on the left side, he sees a red candle that he lights. An eye with two lines can be seen after lighting the candle.
At the right side of the back, he sees a blue candle. Lighting the blue candle gives off an eye with one line. After lighting all the candles, he sees a few pickups.
Picked up a jar of Gunpowder B.
Picked up a jar of Gunpowder D.
Picked up a Dormitory Key.
Harry CHECKS the key. Turning the key, he sees the number 102 on the back.
Needing some more ammo, he heads back to the reloading station in the medical room.
Harry mixes Gunpowder B and Gunpowder D.
He loads the Gunpowder BD into the machine. +7 Enhanced Shotgun Shells Created.
Enhanced Shotgun Ammo: 10
He leaves the room and turns right opening another door. He ends up in a hall that looks like it’s in disrepair. There are vines popping through the walls and the wallpaper is peeling off. Continuing down the hall, he sees a door that is locked.
This door is locked. The door reads “Gallery”.
He keeps going towards the end of the hall where he sees an herb by the door to Room 102.
Picked up a Green Herb.
Harry uses the Green Herb.
Condition: Fine
He unlocks the door to Room 102 using the key and then discards it. Upon entering, he finds himself in another bedroom. Walking to the bed, he hears the door open and a crimson face zombie pops out scaring Harry to death.
Harry, who is unprepared, is grabbed by the zombie and bit by it. He’s able to push it away and dives back while shooting the zombie with the shotgun. In only one shot, the zombie rips in half due to the power of the blast. The zombie is ripped apart with its legs by the bed and its upper body by the bathroom door.
Gathering himself, he sees nothing besides a locked desk that he is unable to unlock. Continuing to explore the room, he sees a hole behind a book case without books. Pushing the bookcase towards the wall, he sees a ladder leading down.
He wonders what secrets are hiding down at the bottom of the ladder. Before he heads down though, he sees a document that catches his eye.
Another question that remains in his head is where could that creature that he saw in the cabin? Is she following him?
Chapter 7
Looking at the documents, he begins to read them.
Ivy Bio-Weapons Report
“Ivy is a plant bio-weapon that is locked up in the library of the guardhouse. What was supposed to be an experiment has turned into a critical failure. Many guards have been killed in the library and we are fearful that we have developed a creature that is uncontrollable.
While we don’t want to scrap the project as this creature has capabilities that will prove worthy to our mission, we can’t afford to lose too many men. Anyway, there is a chemical agent we’re working on known as the CHLOROKILLER. This is to be applied to the roots of Ivy and hopefully weaken it. We can only hope that it kills it.
The roots have expanded into the break room in the aqua ring. The agent is to be applied there and hope for the best. Our scientists have been working night and day coming up with a chemical. So this is a fluid situation that can change as we develop newer chemicals and come up with a better solution.
Once Ivy is killed, we will not stop research on the plant creature. Our mistake was trying to make it stationary, instead we should try to make it mobile. In fact, if Ivy is mobile we’ll have better control of it and we can transport it to different locations much easier.
It’s just a lesson learned, although I still want to gather battle data from Ivy before we dispose of it. That is where Operation: Bait comes into play.”
The rest of the document is illegible.
“Operation: Bait? I got a feeling that is what happened to us. We were used as bait to come to this mansion just to gather battle data. Damn, why would the police department make up a story about murders in the area? Unless, they were people being killed and they were killed by Hybrid just to get out attention. Damn it!” He gets angry while crushing and ripping the papers.
He decides to go down the ladder and when he gets down from the ladder he sees a plain gray hallway. It has the feeling of an industrial building. He also spots some zombies in the hall as well. He kills the first two rather easily with his pistol.
Pistol Ammo: 49
As he continues there are a couple of more zombies, but they are crimson faces and they quickly attack him by slashing him. One of the zombies tries to grab him.
Press “A” and “B” to sidestep… Well Done!
He quickly loads in the enhanced ammo for his pistol and begins to shoot at one of the zombies. With the enhanced ammo he kills one of the zombies in only 3 shots.
Enhanced Pistol Ammo: 17
Once he kills one, the other zombie surprises him and grabs him. He pulls out is knife and uses it to stab the zombie to loosen its grip on him. Once the zombie is stabbed, Harry kicks it into the water where the boxes are sitting on. The zombie is unable to swim and drowns to death.
Harry opens the double doors and finds himself in the aqua ring. When he enters the aqua ring, he sees what looks to be a shark underwater. He sees the door to the control room and makes his way there. However as he’s moving towards the door, he sees a couple of sharks pop out of the water.
Press “A” and “B” to dodge… Nice!
He’s able to dive towards his left and the sharks barely miss him. Getting up as fast as he can, he heads towards the control room door only to find it’s electronically locked.
“Crap this is not good! I gotta find a way to open this door or I’ll be the shark’s next meal.” He screams.
One of the sharks pops up and bites him on his arm dealing a good amount of damage.
Condition: Caution (Level 1)
He tries to shoot the shark with his shotgun, but the shark dips back into the water. Luckily for Harry, these are baby sharks and not great white sharks. He sees another door around the corner to his left, so he makes his way there running. However, the scent of blood attracts the attention of the sharks and they begin to attack again.
Harry turns back and shoots one of the sharks with the shotgun killing it. However, he has no time to shoot the other shark and has to dodge the attack.
Shotgun Ammo: 9
Press “A” and “B” to dodge… Too Slow!
He slips and falls on his butt and the shark attacks him. He barely survives as he uses his shotgun to slap the shark away limiting the damage he takes from the bite.
Condition: Danger
Getting up as fast as he can, he waits for the shark to attack. The shark opens its mouth and he shoots a couple of shells into the shark’s mouth. The two blasts break into the shark causing it to die instantly.
Shotgun Ammo: 7
After killing the shark, he walks towards the door and opens it. Entering the break room, he sees the roots of what is Ivy. What he also sees is a switch to unlock the control room. He presses the button and the indication light turns green, which means the control room is unlocked.
After unlocking the door he sees a pickup on the table…
Picked up +7 Shotgun Shells. Shotgun Ammo: 14
He decides that he needs to heal himself as well.
Harry uses a First Aid Spray.
Condition: Fine
Healing himself, he exits the door and begins to run into the control room just in case anymore sharks are around. There is a shark in front of him that he’s able to see. Running to the control room door, he rushes inside and closes the door as the shark is attacking.
Catching and taking a deep breath, he heads down the ladder where he sees a door leading to the actual control room. When he gets to the control room, he sees a switch to drain the water. Hitting the switch, he sees the water beginning to recede and eventually drain.
After draining the water, he sees a door that was previously inaccessible leading him to a storage area where he finds an ammo pick up.
Picked up +6 Magnum Rounds. Magnum Rounds: 15
Harry sees another door in front of him and enters. He ends up in what used to be the monitor room before it was submerged in water. Most of the computers are unusable and totally fried. He sees something shiny all the way in back by a dead great white shark. Reaching the item, he picks it up.
Picked up a Dormitory Key.
Harry CHECKS the key. He turns around the key and sees “Gallery” tagged.
Finding the key to the gallery, he heads out of the monitor room and heads back to the storage room. When he gets to the storage room, he sees a ladder that leads up to a side door. When he opens the side door, he exits back into the plain gray hallway.
Going up the ladder, he ends up back in the bedroom. Walking out of the room, he sees a key.
Picked up an Old Key.
Once he picks up the old key, he heads towards the hallway of the guardhouse until he gets to the gallery. He uses the gallery key to open the door and enters the gallery. When he gets into the gallery, he sees three spiders roaming around. The spiders begin to go after him and begin to attack him. One of the spiders tries to tackle him.
