He heads for that door and enters the hallway. The hallway is quiet for the most part and he walks carefully to make sure nothing ambushes him. He sees a shaft that is closed and needs power to open. So he looks to the other side and sees a door that he can open.
Entering the door, he finds himself in a scientist bedroom. There isn’t much besides a couple of scientists on the floor lying dead. Looking around, he spots a document on the bed.
The Broken Arrow Project
“This document serves to introduce you to our new project, Broken Arrow. It seems despite our extensive research and our investment in the Raven Hawk Virus, the results have been ‘mixed’. While it’s not the worst thing in the world, the failure in certain areas have caused us many casualties.
Not to mention that certain products of the Raven Hawk were underwhelming at best. These include the guerilla and the flesher. The guerilla was probably the most disappointing of all. While the gorillas displayed some promise, they were hard to control and are easy to outsmart. If we’re to take over the bioengineering market, we need to step up our game.
The flesher’s sonar ability needs to be improved greatly. Anybody can kill it or at least fool it if they are very quiet. Perhaps we can see if we can improve its sight.
We are developing the next great ‘virus’ and we’re going to change the world. The Broken Arrow virus will be the new virus and it will be twice if not three times more powerful than Raven Hawk. We have to prevent other ‘accidents’ from occurring, which is code for making sure the authorities are as far away as possible. That also includes that wanna be Private Eye, George Fisher.
The Broken Arrow virus will give us the ability to build our superhuman models such as Mr. Z and our secret project, Nemesis. We’re working on it as fast as we can, but we have to make sure that all the ‘bugs’ are fixed. We don’t need to have another failure like we just had.
Details about the actual virus will be in a later document and only a selected few will have access to it. However, when it comes to the remaining Raven Hawk substance we have, we can still do something useful. Who knows, it might not be so useless after all…
Just throw the remaining liquid into the Rockland Dam, I’m sure nobody will realize the difference or even know what’s taking place. If we do get NYC to fall again, it will be even better. However, communication with our sister lab located in Brooklyn will be paramount. Good luck my dear scientists!”
“No, these guys could not be so evil and throw that sinister liquid into our drinking water. Crap, I better get out of here quickly and stop that chemical from getting into the drinking water.” He says in shock.
Hondo begins to realize the water supply of New York is in jeopardy and the government is totally unaware. He also sees two items next to a corpse of a scientist.
Picked up a Cartridge Fuse. Used to power the core of the laboratory.
Picked up a Green Keycard.
Picking up the fuse, he heads back to the core until he is met by a couple of spiders that drop from the ceiling. Pulling out his shotgun, he shoots the first spider easily. However, he fails to see the second spider that shoots its poison spit at him.
Shotgun Ammo: 13
Condition: Poison
After getting poisoned by the spider, he shoots the spider one time before it slaps him to the ground with one of its legs. On the floor, he lays another blast from his shotgun before the spider can get any closer to him.
Shotgun Ammo: 11
Once he gets the spider down on the ground, he gets back up despite his vision becoming a bit blurry. It seems the poison is not as bad as before, but he still wants to heal it as fast as possible before it does become worse. Exiting to the core, he looks at the power core.
Hondo USES the Cartridge Fuse and inserts it into the power core.
Once the fuse is in fully, the core closes and power is routed to the remaining two doors. When he heads to the east area door, the door is still locked. There’s a keycard panel next to the door and it requires a blue keycard which he doesn’t have. Looking behind him there’s another door down the hall from the power core that he can check.
Heading towards the north side of the laboratory, he sees a keycard reader asking for a green keycard that he does have. When he inserts the green keycard, the door unlocks and he enters the automatic door. When he gets to the hallway, he is met with a few zombies in lab coats. He easily kills two of the zombies with his pistol, the third one gets uncomfortably close when he has to reload his weapon.
Pistol Ammo: 50
Before the zombie can grab him though, he quickly lays a punch with his left hand. That knocks the zombie back just a little, but enough for Hondo to react. Deciding to use conserve ammo, he decides to perform an uppercut and behead the zombie for good.
“Damn… not even the lab itself is spared from these freaks. I gotta hurry!” He says as it seems the weight of the world is under his shoulders.
He sees a shaft that is locked along with a button to open it. Pressing the button opens the shaft and a door is revealed. He heads to the door and it’s sealed tightly with a mini-computer used to open it.
“In order to enter the biohazard research room, two valid fingerprints must be registered in the B5 registration computer. Once that’s done, the two people must enter their fingerprints on this machine. When two valid fingerprints are verified, the door will unlock.”
After reading the message, he believes that Linda can help him enter the room and find out what is behind that door. For now, he decides to go through the door on the other side and enter what seems to be a rainforest like mini-habitat. Entering the room, he is attacked by guerillas.
One of them jumps directly in front of him giving Hondo a first hand look at the horrors of a mutated gorilla. He lifts his right hand ready to attack, but instead falls to the ground as the effects of the spider poison causes his legs to go numb. The gorilla attacks him with a hard right hand knocking him down hard to the metal floor.
Hondo is knocked out with the two gorillas beating their stomachs in victory as they prepare to finish him off. A hookshot is faintly heard by Hondo who is as good as out. An unknown person hooks their way up to a tree and gets on top of it. After doing so the mystery person, shoots the gorillas down with a rain of machine gun fire.
Once the gorillas are killed, the mystery person gets down to where he’s located and inserts a shot into his arm to cure the poison as could be seen by his veins turning purple. After injecting him with the serum, she gives him a soft kiss on the cheek and leaves.
Condition: Caution (Level 2)
A couple of minutes later, he gets up on his own power. Even though he knows he was injected and kissed, he was unable to see who it was.
“Was that you Dawn?” He suspects that it was his partner Dawn who saved his butt.
Regardless who it was, he decides to use the medicine he got back in the security room.
Hondo USES a Green Herbal Mix.
Condition: Caution (Level 1)
He sees a bamboo ladder and heads down until he sees a sign that he reads.
“Guerilla Training and Observation Room”
“This room is used to observe the everyday life of our bioweapon, the Guerilla. Make sure that the window is properly closed and secured.”
Looking at the floor, he sees chunks of glass on the floor. That indicates to him that it was broken by someone in order to let the creatures out on purpose. Seeing nothing of interest, he exits the room into a hall where even more Guerillas are located.
Not taking any chances, he pulls out his shotgun and kills both gorillas from mid-range.

When the gorillas are dead, he continues down the huge waiting room. Walking around, he finds a few pickups on the floor.
Picked up 2 Green Herbal Mixes.
Picked up a Red Herbal Mix.
Hondo mixes a Green and Red Herbal Mix to create a Super Herbal Mix.
Hondo USES a Green Herbal Mix.
Condition: Fine
Once he gathers himself, he sees a blast door that is locked with a computer next to it. He heads to check the computer to see if he can get the door open.
“In order to open the blast door, a MO Disk is required to unlock the door.”
“Just something else that I have to find in this crazy place.” He says to himself.
He sees an automatic door that opens leading to a security room where the cameras are shown. As he enters, he begins to see similarities to his favorite video game that he was playing right before everything started. He sees nothing useful in the room and continues to the next door.
Entering the gray hallway with green and white stripes, he sees three gorillas in the hallway. He pulls out his Desert Eagle and takes aim at the gorillas. He’s able to kill one of them in one shot to the head blowing its brains out. Trying to kill the others, he shoots the other gorillas. However, he ends up missing them as they jump up to the pipes above by grabbing them.
Magnum Ammo: 16
He’s unable to keep up with them or even get a good shot at them. Before he even gets a shot, one of the gorillas wall jumps and tackles him. The creature begins to punch him repeatedly.
Condition: Caution (Level 1)
He frees his right hand and uses it to punch the gorilla in the face with his brass knuckles. The other gorilla tries to jump on him.
Press “A” and “B” to roll… Great!
Rolling out of the way from the attack, he gets up and recovers his magnum. When he gets his magnum back, he shoots and kills another of the gorillas. Trying to shoot another round, the gun jams up on him. The gorilla becomes angry and rushes towards him. Keeping calm, he jabs the gorilla right in the jaw knocking it out cold.
He checks on the gorilla just to make sure its dead. Not taking any chances, he unjams his gun and shoots the gorilla in the head. The blood leaks out rather quickly from the creature’s head and spills on the floor turning it from white to a bloody red.
Magnum Ammo: 14
Seeing a door ahead of him, he enters it and sees a couple of fleshers looking right at him. He spots a huge locker and is unable to get past the fleshers. One of the fleshers jumping towards him ready to claw him, he ducks and performs an uppercut flipping the creature causing it to fall face first. The other flesher comes up and slashes him causing some damage. The flesher climbs up the wall and Hondo grabs an iron pipe. He uses it to smash the flesher on the wall and then thrusts it into the creature’s heart.
After killing the creature, he looks in the locker and sees a couple of pickups.
Picked up 2 Magnum Clips. Magnum Ammo: 30
Picked up a First Aid Spray.
Once he grabs the goodies, he sees a note on the floor from one of the dead scientists.
Blood Stained Note
“The room to verify fingerprints is located directly to the left. All you need is the password. I remember it being the next great superhuman project, the secret project…”
(The Blood covers the password)
After reading the note, he heads towards his left and continues until he gets to the door. Getting to the door, he enters a room that is covered with a wall that has the look and feel of a larva. When he looks ahead, he sees a giant moth.
Boss: Giant Moth
The giant moth spots Hondo and tries to spew a poisonous gas around the room. He gets out of the way of the poisonous gas as the moth flaps its wings. He shoots the moth a couple of times with the magnum.
The moth stops flapping its wings and flies toward Hondo tackling him. After taking him down, the moth grabs him and picks him up in the air. After biting him in the neck, the moth drops him to the floor.
Condition: Caution (Level 2)
He gets up quickly and shoots a couple of magnum shots weakening the moth even more. Despite the heavy amount of damage deal, the moth is still flying.
Magnum Rounds: 26
Getting up, the moth tries to tackle him and he’s able to dive to his right and avoid the attack. Then the creature begins to flap his wings again trying to spread its poisonous gas again. Backflipping, he’s able to avoid being exposed to the gas. He takes his aim with his magnum trying to shoot the moth, but the moth tackles him with its wing. Falling down on the floor, the creature attempts to grab him again in order to pick him up.
Press “A” and “B” to roll out of the way… Excellent!
He rolls out of the way, but drops his magnum while he’s rolling.
“Crap, I just lost my gun!” He screams losing his gun.
Looking to get his gun back, he runs right towards the moth against his better judgment. The moth rises up as Hondo actually recovers his magnum. However, the moth flaps its wings again and this time Hondo is unable to avoid exposure to the gas.
Condition: Virus
“Damn it! Son of a bitch got me good!” He screams.
Out of anger, he decides to shoot three shots at the moth. Two of them hit the creature while the other misses it. The two shots that do hit the moth causes damage to its wings causing it to go down on the floor.
He walks to it trying to keep his equilibrium and his composure holding the Desert Eagle. Lifting his gun, he shoots the moth killing it once in for all.
“Oh man, that bastard… poisoned me and… this one looks like it’s… a bad one at that… Damn!” He says as his stomach is killing him.
What Hondo doesn’t know is that he’s been poisoned with the Raven Hawk Virus. He walks slowly and finds a pick up.
Picked up Ointment. I can cure Linda with this.
After he picks up the ointment, he sees that he’s surrounded by capsules that are filled with the different creatures. He’s disgusted and appalled now that he sees where the creatures come from and all this research of bioweapons were being done from under his nose.
“These people are the antichrist, to think these people would literally infect these poor animals in the name of science. This is got to stop here.” He says angrily.
Looking at the computer, he sees a login screen,
Please enter your password…
He thinks about the note saying the password was the secret code name of their ultimate secret weapon. Then he remembers from the first document he found in the scientist bedroom.
Hondo types in NEMESIS…
Verifying Password…
Password Accepted…
Please place your fingerprint on the fingerprint scanner…
(Hondo places his fingerprint on the scanner.)
Fingerprint verified, this print is to be used to open the bioweapon research room. This fingerprint is valid for 24 hours.
Hondo leaves the room trying to fight off the effects of the virus. Walking all the way back to the computer for the biohazard research room, he uses the computer.

Fingerprint accepted…
A second fingerprint is required to open the door…
He gets his fingerprint and all he needs is Linda’s, so he heads back to the security room to go heal her.
Heading back to the security room, he sees his worst nightmare. Linda is not on the bed.
“Linda? Where did you go? Where could she be?!” He asks.
Chapter 12
Looking around in the security room, he can’t find Linda and decides to exit the security room. He looks around the hallway where he came through at first and sees that Linda is not around. He becomes concerned that something might have happened to her.
Heading back to the core of the laboratory and heading back to the north side of the laboratory, he hears a gun pulled on him.
“Hmm… so you made it this far!” A man says and Hondo turns around.
“Hondo my boy, you been a thorn on my side for way too long… Let’s just say… you know… too much and your part in this play… is over…” Chief Mustang says holding a gun at Hondo.
“I should have known you were working with Hybrid. Now I know who’s been trying to kill me and my partner. What did you do with Linda?” Hondo asks angrily.
“Linda… I was simply trying to give her… the power…”
“Power my ass! You bastard… you killed her didn’t you? You disgust me!”
“Actually, she refused my offering and ran away from me. However… I’m not worried because at the end of the day… she will die just… like you…”
“You’re a sick bastard Mustang! This had nothing to do with the police station; it was all about the money. Hybrid wanted that land to expand this sick devilish place and you were on par to get quite the kickback. Well you got what you wanted, but let me ask you. Was it worth it?” Hondo asks.
“I can care less! Hybrid is prepared to pay me quite the sum of money, hehe… As for you my dear Hondo… you know too much… so I have no choice but to eradicate you.” Mustang prepares to kill Hondo.
That is until Linda comes in and pushes the chief from behind. The two get into a scuffle and it ends up with the chief shooting Linda by accident. Once Linda is shot, Hondo shoots Chief Mustang. Linda falls through the railing and nearly falls off the platform until Hondo grabs her.
“Linda, I got you!” He screams.
“Look Hondo, just let me go. I’ll just... hold you back.”
“Shut up! You’re gonna make it, don’t do this to me.”
“It was nice... meeting you and I’m glad... I could… help you.”
“Cut it out Linda, we’re leaving this place together. I promise you that.”
“I really wanted... to leave with... you and escape… from...everything.” Linda says as the virus is causing Hondo to lose strength.
“Good...bye…” Linda says weakly. Despite his best efforts, Hondo is too weak and ends up letting go of Linda causing her to fall to her death.
“Linda!” Hondo screams as he kneels down while slamming the floor in frustration.
Getting up, he says angrily, “So Hybrid, this is the game you wish to play, huh?”
After saying that, he faints onto the floor due to the effects of the Raven Hawk Virus… Then he hears his own voice up in the air...
