Then things became even worse for me. I overheard a conversation where Herman and Anthony were talking about “experimenting” with me. I had no idea what that would entail. A part of me said that it would be only to give me an IQ test and see if I could get a promotion. However, I knew better. I had a bad feeling that they were going to try to inject me with that sinister virus known as the Raven Hawk.

By now I had found out that the Raven Hawk was responsible for creating those monsters I had seen. It was also clear that those bastards would do anything to make sure nobody would find out the truth about the virus as this is probably not the result they were looking for. The Clarks knew that if I could escape the mansion, I would have a chance to expose them.

As a result, they would do everything to make sure I could not get out and I tell you they did one hell of a job keeping me here. There was a point where I thought that maybe I was overreacting, but when I saw the head chef begin to literally eat his assistant chef it became clear that I wasn’t. The mansion was has invaded by the undead.

It’s May 5, 2007 and the mansion has been infested with these zombie like creatures. I also realize that my time in the world is up, so I will simply hang myself as it’s better than being eaten by the undead. Jennifer my darling, please forgive me, for not being there for you and our son. Goodbye world…”

“As I suspected, the Hybrid Corporation has a huge hand in all this. I got a bad feeling that I’m walking right into a cover-up that needs to be exposed soon. I need to tell Thomas and Barry.” She begins to suspect that this zombie infestation is anything but vanity and if not stopped, could become a dangerous epidemic.

After reading the note, Sabrina heads into the other room across the hall and finds herself in the servant’s dining room. The room is nearly pitch black and she has trouble seeing anything. She spots an unlit candle that can be lit.

Sabrina USES her Lighter to lit the candle.

After lighting the candle the room brightens up and she spots an ammo pickup.

Picked up +7 Shotgun Shells. Shotgun Ammo: 24

She continues to look around in the room and sees an opening behind a China set. She begins to push the set to open up the hole to see what is hiding behind the China set. After pushing the obstacle out of the way, she heads into the hole.

Upon entering the hole, she is surprised by a zombie and is barely able to get out of the way of the zombie trying to grab her. Using her pistol, she kills off the zombie by landing a few well placed headshots.

  Pistol Ammo: 67

After killing the zombie, she explores the area where it was standing. She sees a sheet of paper.

Picked up a Musical Score. It’s titled “Moonlight Sonata”, but the actual sheet music is missing leaving only the cover.

After getting the sheet music, the mystery for her only gets bigger. With nothing else in the room, she leaves. Upon returning to where she found Kenny, she sees that he’s not around.

“Kenny… Kenny! Where did he go? Great, just someone else gone missing.” She says to herself concerned for her teammate.

Heading back to the red velvet hallway, she opens up the green metal door that was locked with the Armor Key. Opening the door, she enters a strange looking room with a huge chessboard in the middle of the room. Without moving a single chess piece, she heads to the back where a red chest is located. It is locked behind a small gate. Sabrina tries to get her hand inside, but her hand is too big to open the chest. There is a message under where the chest is.

“Whoever can check the King of the White Empire will be worthy of getting my prize…”

Sabrina has played a little chess in her life. There is a black King, Knight, Rook, and Queen while there is only one white King. She knows that check the king means a checkmate in chess. The white King is in the right hand corner. She moves the black Rook so that it is horizontal ready to eat the king from the side. Next she moves the black queen so that is check the king vertically. Finally she moves the knight so that it checks the king from an L-Shape.

However when she moves the knight into position, toxic gas begins to pop through the vents and she is forced to get out before she is poisoned. Getting back to the hallway, she catches her breath.

After a minute she realizes what she did wrong, a checkmate is where you trap the king and no matter where it moves it can’t escape, hence the name checkmate. She had moved the knight to check the king but she the king would still be able to escape by moving diagonally.

Heading back into the room, she moves the knight back one space and places it in position where the no matter where the king moves it will be trapped. After moving the pieces into a checkmate position, the gate opens and she is able to obtain the chest.

Picked up a Red Chest. What could be inside?

Sabrina CHECKS the chest and opens it. A stone is inside.

Picked up a Water Crest. By the shape of the crest, it looks like it goes somewhere but where?

“Looks like just another puzzle to be solved. This place just gets crazier as I continue to explore. What else will I find?” She says continuing to be mystified by the mansion.

Sabrina continues the journey. Will she find her teammates in what is becoming a mission to uncover what seems to be a cover-up?

  Chapter 5

After obtaining the Water Crest, Sabrina continues on her journey and decides to go down the stairs in the east hallway. She heads into the hallway leading the dark hallway where she had killed a zombie before. The corpse of the zombie is still lying down and she gets her shotgun ready in case the zombie decides to get up. However, the zombie remains on the floor with the same pale face it had when she killed it before.

She sees two doors, one to the right and one to the left. She tries to open the door to the right, but it is locked.

The doorknob is etched with a picture of a Helmet.

She goes to the other door and uses the Armor Key to unlock it. As she enters, she can hear the growl of the unknown monster again.

“What is that thing? Doesn’t sound good at all. Knowing my luck it’s probably the thing that bit Kenny.” She says to herself.

She enters a room that is filled with stained glass windows. There are also crows standing on top of the pictures. However, they are not aggressive at all and actually simply stay where they are. Moving down the hall and turning the corner she sees a picture of a maiden. There is a message under the picture.

“It’s a beautiful maiden with a beautiful crown, necklace, and bracelet. The crown was given to her by a saint. The bracelet was given to her by a valiant. The necklace was given to her by a sage. Give the maiden the proper gifts and she shall reward you handsomely.”

Sabrina studies the picture carefully and notices that each of the items listed are in different colors. The necklace is purple, the crown is green, and the bracelet is orange. She figures that she has to use the stained glass and switch their colors to match the maiden.

She sees a switch under the picture, but she doesn’t press it yet. Instead she goes to the picture of the valiant and sees a switch under the picture. Pressing the button causes the picture to turn a crimson red. The picture has the bracelet orange though, so she presses the switch again to reset it to the original color.

“There must be a switch on the other side.” She says in her head.

Heading to the picture of the sage, she presses the button and the picture turns purple. Sabrina decides to leave it alone as the necklace is purple. Heading to the picture of the saint, she presses the button and the picture turns into a pure green which is the color of the crown.

Turning the corner, she heads to the picture of the valiant and presses the switch on the other side. After hitting the switch, the picture turns orange. After seeing the colors match, she heads to the picture of the maiden. She hits the button below the picture and the picture lifts up, surprising Sabrina for a quick second. Once the picture lifts up, there is something on the hole it was covering.

Picked up a Sun Crest. Another one of these hexagonal crests.

She heads out of the room and back into the hallway. She sees another door that she didn’t see before. It leads to the courtyard, but it’s locked. She tries to pick the lock without any success.

Lockpicking skill - Level 7 required.

Instead of killing herself with the door, she heads back upper level of the east staircase. Sabrina decides to go left instead of right to the red velvet hallway. She sees a wooden door that she unlocks with the Armor Key. When she enters the hallway, a zombie is there ready to grab her.

Press “A” and “B” to dive out of the way… Good!

She’s barely is able to get out of the way and pulls out her shotgun where she pumps a couple of rounds to the zombie killing it.

  Shotgun Ammo: 22

Looking around, she is in a small room with a deer head on the wall. She sees two doors and decides to try to open the wooden door behind her. The door is locked but the door is easily picked and she enters what seems to be the researcher’s quarters. There are a couple of zombies that are on the floor as far as she can see.

Lockpicking Skill improved to Level 5!

She uses her pistol to kill the zombies on the floor.

  Pistol Ammo: 59

She sees a document on the desk by the sleeping lamp that is by one of the beds. She begins to read it.

  Researchers Journal Part 1

  February 13th, 2007

“Mike and I decided to play a game of gin rummy as a blizzard was taking place. While I was dealing Matthew his normal beatdown, I was worried about something.

That something was the real purpose of the Raven Hawk vaccine. The Clark family wants us to believe that we are developing the real cure for cancer, but for some reason I find that hard to believe. Mike talked to Chris who was going to the Clark Family Mansion in Brooklyn New York as he was promoted as the main scientist of the company. He would get to work with the Clark family head to head. It had it perks including a much better sleeping quarters and a higher salary of course.

I should have felt jealous and at first I did. However, as time went by Chris would call us saying he wish he could come back to the mansion. He claims that he started to see very strange things in the mansion. He saw huge lizards, spiders, and even got a peek at a secret project called “Trevor”. He also saw what looked like to be the father of the Hybrid Corporation, Matthew Clark in a pod.

Matthew had died a long time ago, why would his kids have him in a pod unless they were trying to use the Raven Hawk Vaccine to bring him back to life? All of a sudden, I was beginning to question my sanity at this job.”

  March 2nd, 2007

“When I went to the study room, I saw that Mike was dead. However he wasn’t only dead, he was massacred to death with bite marks like crazy. The first thing that came to mind was zombies…”

  March 4th, 2007

“I decided to sneak to the Courtyard late at night just to see the snow that had fallen during the day. All I saw was the dead and mutilated body of Judy who was became my research partner after Mike’s mysterious death.

After I saw her body, all I heard was a loud intimidating scream. All I could say to myself was, ‘Could that be project Trevor?’ Could it be my real mission is to die as a guinea pig while those crazy Clark kids try to bring their father back to life? All of a sudden, suicide no longer sounds like a bad idea.”

The rest of the journal is ripped and missing…

“Damn this place has proven to be quite the hell hole after all.” She says after reading the journal.

After reading the journal, she spots a green box on the other side of the room. She goes around the beds and head to the side of the other bed. However, she is grabbed and bit by a zombie that was lying on the floor in the back of the room. Using her foot, she steps on the zombie’s head and crushes it. She takes minimal damage from the bite.

Heading to the green box, she looks at the pick up.

Picked up a First Aid Box.

Sabrina CHECKS the box and opens it. She finds a First Aid Spray inside.

After finding nothing else in the room, she heads back to the small room with the deer head and goes through the door leading to the study. When she enters the study, Thomas is inside the room. Sabrina sneaks up on him while he’s reading a clipboard.

“Whoa! Don’t scare me like that.” Thomas says scared while Sabrina snickers.

“Sorry Thomas, what are you looking at anyway? Why are you so nervous though?” Sabrina asks with concern.

“I’m just getting old I guess, but anyway read this…” He hands her the clipboard.

  Raven Hawk Results

“After applying the cure to the test subjects, we noticed some drastic changes in the human subjects. The humans began to develop extremely aggressive behavior and even developed an appetite for blood from other humans.

When it came to testing on Lizards, we found them growing in size and growing huge claws capable of cutting up a human in one swing.

For the spiders, they grew in size and developed a spit that is rancid towards humans.

While these are the results we desired to clean out New York and to build our empire without interference, we got to make sure no one finds this out. You are ordered to kill and eliminate anyone you believe might have knowledge of this. Even if it means taking out the NYPD Special Forces, our quest for domination cannot be jeopardized.”

There is a part that is missing and ripped…

“I’m starting to believe this is all a trap for us to be killed in this mansion so that Hybrid can continue to do their experiments without being held responsible. Wait a minute, there’s also a part missing!” She says after reading the note.

“Well that could be the most important part… Yeah, I agree. Listen, we should split up and just get the hell out of here. It’s clear we’re in a rat trap here. Ah… Sabrina I left you a few items in the storage room. Use them if you need to, but use them wisely as there are in limited quantity.” He replies.

“Thanks, I’ll see you later then.” She answers as he leaves the room.

She suspects something’s wrong with Thomas. He left the room in quite the hurry. She believes either the monsters have him running or he has something to hide. For now she believes it’s the former rather the latter.

She sees a button on the wall and decides to press it. After pressing the button the water in the fish tank begins to drain. Heading to the fish tank, she looks inside but finds nothing inside. Looking behind the fish tank though, she spots a small hole.

Sabrina pushes the fish tank over to reveal the hole. Looking inside the hole, she finds something.

Picked up a Wind Crest. Yet a third crest…

After finding nothing else of worth in the study except for shelves of books and a computer that is off, she leaves the room. Returning to the hallway, she sees the hallway continues to her right. When she turns the corner however, she bumps into a zombie that tackles her and bites her on the floor. She’s able to kick the zombie in the groin and it lets go.

  Condition: Caution (Level 1)

Despite the kick the zombie remains standing and gives chase. She pulls out her shotgun and quickly shoots it on the legs. The impact of the blast is enough remove one of the zombie’s legs from its body. Limping with only its right leg, the zombie falls to the ground. Sabrina finishes it off with another shotgun blast to the head, beheading it for good.

  Shotgun Ammo: 20

After yet another jump scare, she heads to the door behind her and finds it’s locked. Once again she tries to use the lockpick to unlock the door, however the door has double locks making it far too complex for her to unlock.

Lockpicking Skill – Level 10 Required

She decides to leave the door alone and return later should she need to. Instead, she heads back to the storage room where Thomas claims he has left her some supplies for her to use. When she enters the storage room, she can hear that same ominous voice she has been hearing all day. However, right after that she hears the voice of a reptile like a huge snake coming from upstairs.

“I got a feeling I’ll have to deal with one of those huge creatures very soon. Hybrid is clearly planning something huge…” She says as she hears the voices again.

When she enters the storage room, there are several pickups on the floor.

Picked up 2 jars of Gunpowder C.

Picked up 2 jars of Gunpowder A.

Picked up a First Aid Spray.

Sabrina begins to think how she should use her gunpowder and how to mix it. Her pistol ammo is a bit low, but she knows the “creature” will not go down with pistol bullets. Knowing Gunpowder C creates grenade rounds, she comes up with a way to mix the gunpowder correctly for the situation.

Sabrina mixes a jar of Gunpowder C with Gunpowder A to created Gunpowder AC.

She loads Gunpowder AC into the reloading station. +6 Acid Rounds created. Acid Rounds: 12

She loads Gunpowder A into the reloading station. +20 Handgun Bullets created. Pistol Ammo: 79

She loads Gunpowder C into the reloading station. +6 Standard Grenades created. Standard Grenades: 11

After crafting her new grenade rounds and ammo, she heads out of the room. She remembers that there was a door by the Dining Room that needed the Armor Key to unlock. She decides that she will go through the second floor as that part of the mansion is “clear” of any possible crimson face zombies. Although she knows that this is a mansion that she cannot plan for and anything can happen.

As she goes up the stairs, she is scared when she hears the loud scream of what seems to be a huge snake. However, the sound is much closer to her location than before. Pulling out her grenade launcher, she prepares for possibly her first boss fight.

  Chapter 6

With her grenade launcher in hand, she’s prepared for whatever could be growling. Slowly walking up the stairs, she heads towards the door and walks towards it. Opening the door, she enters the red velvet hallway. However as she enters the hallway, she sees nothing but the corpse of a dead zombie.
