  Arrows: 53

  Opening the cabinet, she sees that it’s empty and there is no fuse inside. Turning around, she sees an elevator and takes it down wondering where she’ll end up. When the elevator gets to the B3 level of the power area, she hears hissing coming from all over the place.

  Walking in deeper to the room, she sees a huge switch at the end of the hall. Before she gets any deeper though, a couple of fleshers jump to the ground. Elza carefully takes out her grenade launcher and prepares the flame rounds. Once she has the rounds loaded, she aims at the fleshers and shoots a flame round.

  The fleshers catch on fire to her delight, but they still remain alive despite being on fire. Both creatures try to jump and behead her. Elza is able to backflip out of the way and avoid being slashed. She shoots another flame round and this time both fleshers die.

  Flame Rounds: 14

  “Whew that was close indeed. Now what does that switch activate?” She wonders.

  Approaching the switch, she is ambushed by another flesher who slashes her from behind. Her suit prevents the attack from going any deeper, but she still receives a decent amount of damage.

  Condition: Caution (Level 2)

  She quickly turns around and jumps from the flesher. She drops her grenade launcher as she jumps back and has no time to pull out her bowgun. That’s because the flesher is ready to jump towards her. With little time to react, she quickly pulls out her knife and throws it at the flesher.

  The knife hits the flesher in the head and it falls on its back. Using her bowgun, Elza finishes off the flesher killing it. When the coast is clear, she looks at the switch and sees that it’s for the elevator.

  “Hmm… no reason to touch that switch.” She says ignoring the switch.

  After ignoring the switch, she spots a dead worker next to the switch. However, when she looks at the body it looks like the woman was shot to death rather than being killed by a creature.

  “This looks funny alright. Someone is out to make sure nobody uncovers these secrets. I better watch my back and get out of here as fast as I can.” Elza becomes concerned about a possible mole.

  Before she walks away though, she sees the woman holding something in her left hand…

  Picked up a Fuse. I can use this to power up the main lab door.

  Seeing there is nothing more in the B3 level, she heads back up to the elevator and heads upstairs. When she gets upstairs, she heads to her right where she spots a ladder that takes her to a platform. Arriving on the platform, she enters the power room and sees a couple of guerillas in the room.

  She quietly gets her bowgun and shoots one of the gorillas dead by shooting it into its heart. The other gorilla runs after her and jumps onto one of the huge transformers. Elza doesn’t shoot it as she doesn’t want to risk missing and hitting the transformer.

  Instead she runs to the fuse box and the gorilla wall jumps onto her tackling her before she gets to the fuse box.

  Condition: Danger

  When the gorilla tries to jump on her in order to bite her, she kicks the gorilla away and it falls on its back. Getting up, she shoots it with her bowgun killing it.

  Arrows: 47

  Killing the gorillas proves to be a relief for Elza. She makes sure that the coast is clear and after she does, she heads to the fuse box. There is a hole where the fuse fits in perfectly. Once she inserts the fuse into the proper hole, the small pilot light turns on indicating the circuit is back online.

  “That should get the main door back online.” She says seeing the circuit back online.

  Leaving the power room, she figures that she better heal herself before progressing deeper into the lab.

  Elza uses a First Aid Spray.

  Condition: Fine

  After healing herself, she heads back to the elevator and takes it back to the B4 level. When she returns though, she sees that the main shaft is filled with zombies. Seeing the amount of zombies gets her concerned as they might try to enter the security room to get Anne. The zombies are naked in nature, which sends shivers down Elza’s body. Not taking any chances, she uses her bowgun to shoot all of the zombies that are in front of her at the moment.

  Arrows: 29

  Once she kills all the zombies in front of her, she turns to go to the security room. Turning around the corner, she is grabbed by a zombie that is waiting. The zombie is able to get a pretty good bite into her arm. Pushing it away from her, she shoots it with her bowgun killing it aiming at the head.

  Condition: Caution (Level 1)

  Arrows: 26

  With the naked zombie dead, she rushes into the security room to check on Anne. To her relief, Anne is still sleeping and is untouched. Elza leaves the room and begins to make her way to the main door. This time as she steps into the sensor area the door opens and she enters the core of the lab.

  When she gets to the core of the lab, she sees that the core is already powered up suggesting that someone has been inside the laboratory or that someone is already inside. She decides to go to the blue sector to the east area of the Laboratory.

  When she gets in the hallway, a spider is seen and Elza shoots it in the ceiling before it gets a chance to jump down to the floor. The spider eventually does get to the floor but in a matter of seconds it burns to a crisp. Once the spider is burned, she goes to her left and enters a scientist bedroom.

  Entering the scientist’s bedroom, she sees many dead bodies on the floor of former scientists of Hybrid. She sees a pickup on the bed.

  Picked up a Blue Herbal Mix.

  She sees tentacles sticking out a vent approaching the vent. She gets slapped when she gets too close to the vent. Elza thinks that perhaps burning the tentacles will open the vent up. She shoots a flame round to the tentacles and her theory proves true as the flames burn the tentacles.

  Flame Rounds: 13

  The vent is now open and she pulls herself into the vent. Going the short distance of the vent, she enters another room where there are a couple of fleshers in the room. She decides to load her standard rounds as they deliver a greater impact than the flame rounds. Shooting a grenade round both flesher fall on their backs and get right up. Elza not stopping shoots another grenade round into the fleshers and kills them.

  Grenade Rounds: 4

  She finds herself in a locker room that is covered by vines from a nearby plant. Looking in a huge locker that she unlocks using her lockpick, she finds a couple of ammo pickups.

  Picked up +6 Standard Grenades. Standard Grenades: 10

  Picked up +6 Flame Rounds. Flame Rounds: 19

  Lockpicking Level increased to Level 7!

  She unlocks the latch on the door and goes out the door finding herself on the other side of the east area hallway. A spider is right on top of her and spit poison on her without her being the wiser.

  Condition: Poison

  After being poisoned by the spider, she decides to just run from the spider and escape the hallway back to the main core. Once again she’s on the search for a source of water. Trying to stay strong, she heads to the west area door to find that it’s locked needing a keycard. Elza then goes to the north area and enters the hall there. Seeing a bathroom up ahead, she enters.

  Entering the bathroom, she sees that it’s rather huge as it contains a shower area for the scientists as well. That isn’t what she is concerned about, she is just looking for a sink to get water. She finds a row of sinks by the toilets, however she also finds several dead scientists as well. Many of them are either cut up, disfigured, or even have signs of being infected by the Raven Hawk virus with the change of skin color.

  Fighting through the effects of the spider’s venom, she drinks some water to get her mouth hydrated.

  Elza uses a Blue Herbal Mix.

  Condition: Caution (Level 1)

  Once she intakes the blue herbal powder with water, she heads to a toilet to throw up the poison in her system. However, when she opens the door leading to the toilet, she freaks out when she spots a mutilated body of a scientist. By the look of the body, a gorilla or a flesher must have killed the male. Not to mention the fact that his arms are detached and fingers all dislocated, also the many deep bite marks that look like puncture marks.

  “Oh my God! That corpse is disgusting!” She screams as she throws up next to the body unable to hold in her vomit.

  Once she vomits her guts out, she gets up and actually sees something useful next to the cut up body.

  Picked up a Red Keycard. This Red Keycard opens the door leading to the West Area.

  Once she gets the keycard, all of the zombies that were on the floor get up. It seems that the Raven Hawk virus has broken through them converting them to the undead. Seeing the zombies get up, she grabs her grenade launcher with the standard rounds.

  She easily kills all of the zombies with 2 grenade rounds. However, crimson faced zombies appear from the other room to give chase to Elza. Keeping her cool, she let both get close to her as she pulls out her large knife. One of the crimson face zombies tries to slash her while the other tries to grab her.

  She easily ducks under the first zombie’s slash attack while thrusting the knife into the heart of the other zombie and she pulls the knife out as the zombie bleeds to death. The other zombie has its back turned from her, she somersaults and then jumps up stabbing the zombie in the head. She let’s go of the knife once she thrusts it and then kneels down on one knee. Taking a peek behind her, she sees the zombie slowly fall to the fall with the knife still on the head.

  “Ah… that was fun. Smells like BBQ in here only that the menus is not all that delicious.” She says humorously.

  Removing the knife from the zombie she just killed, she heads to the sink to wash the blood off the knife. After cleaning her knife, she heads out of the bathroom and makes her way to the door leading to the west area. When she gets to the door, she inserts the keycard into the reader and the door opens automatically. Inside is a room full of capsules with the different experiments that Hybrid has been running.

  Some of the creatures are ones that Elza has faced already, others such as the Lizarda and Frogger are ones that are less familiar to her.

  “Is this what Hybrid has been working on all this time? Lord have mercy, how could Hybrid be so evil and take these poor creatures out of their habitats in the name of their sick science?” Elza begins to become concerned with Hybrid’s real intentions.

  Walking to the end of the room, she sees a projector and she turns it on.

  Experiments of Hybrid

  A picture of a huge lizard like creature standing on two feet with the codename of Lizarda.

  A picture of a huge hairy spider with the codename of Web Spinner.

  A picture of a mutated human with the codename of Flesher.

  A picture of a mutated gorilla with the codename of Guerilla.

  After seeing the projector slides, she realizes that Hybrid is probably raising an army of mutants to possibly take over the world. Next to the projector, she sees a keycard…

  Picked up a Green Keycard. This is used to open further access to the North Area.

  After getting the keycard, a few of creatures begin to bang on the capsules and eventually break out of their capsules. A couple of the Froggers and Lizardas escape the capsules and they begin to go after Elza. Not wanting to chance her wellbeing, she heads towards the exit only to find out that the door is locked.

  Lizardas are lizards that have grown in size and are able to stand on two feet unlike regular lizards. Their front feet have been replaced with twin claws capable of cutting anything like butter.

  Froggers are mutated frogs that are able to eat a human in one bite and swallow. They can grab anyone with their long tongues and they can hop rather long distances. Elza grabs her grenade launcher as she tries to shoot the Lizardas, but due to their great agility she misses them.

  Standard Grenade Rounds: 7

  One of the Lizardas sneaks up to her right side and slashes her with a pretty good shot.

  Condition: Caution (Level 2)

  She backflips before the other lizard is able to land it’s slash. Once she finishes her backflip, she shoots another grenade round blowing them up but the impact is not strong enough to kill them. One of the Froggers sticks out its tongue and the tongue grabs Elza. She shoots the frogger with the grenade launcher twice killing it.

  Standard Grenade Rounds: 4

  The other Frogger tries to stick out its tongue to grab Elza, but she runs away from the tongue. The Lizardas continue to give chase to her and she continues to run until she can get an opening. Once she gets behind a capsule, she loads her flame rounds quickly and shoots the Lizarda coming from the right side. The fire from the flame rounds burns through the Lizarda killing it.

  The other Lizarda wall jumps and attacks her with a jumping claw attack. She dives, but not before she takes some damage.

  Condition: Danger

  The Lizarda jumps and tries to finish off Elza, but she is able to roll out of the way from the attack. When she gets out of the way from the attack, she shoots a flame round at it. The Lizarda begins to burn to death with the effects of the napalm and eventually falls to the ground.

  After the Lizarda burns to a crisp, the frogger makes a huge leap towards Elza and it sticks out it tongue. It uses its tongue to grab Elza and tries to eat her alive, she drops her weapon on the floor. That forces her to grab her knife and she uses it to stab the frogger on its tongue.

  Once she stabs the frogger on the tongue, she recovers her grenade launcher. With the mouth of the frogger still open, she shoots a flame round into the mouth of the frog. The flames from the grenade launcher begin to spread on the inside of the frog and the flames burns the insides of the frog. After a minute the frog turns into charcoal.

  Flame Rounds: 16

  “Damn, what kind of zoo is Hybrid running here?” Elza wonders.

  Once the dust finally settles, she heads back to the table where the projector is. On the table is a button, pressing the button she unlocks the emergency lock that had kept the door from being opened. She makes her way to exit the room, looking at her watch she sees 15 minutes have passed leaving her only 15 more remaining to find a cure for Anne.

  “I don’t have much time to waste. Anne’s life depends on me!” Elza says to herself.

  Chapter 11

  With the green keycard in her possession, she heads back to the north entrance. Returning to the north area hallway, she heads to her left where she sees a blast door with a computer next to it. When she heads to the mini computer, she uses it and reads the message on it.

  “In order to enter the biohazard research room, two valid fingerprints must be registered in the B5 registration computer. Once that’s done, the two people must enter their fingerprints on this machine. When two valid fingerprints are verified, the door will unlock.”

  When she looks at the computer, she sees the middle light turned on indicating that a person has already registered a fingerprint. Her fingerprint would make two to open the door. There’s nothing she can do for now, so she heads forward watching for any creatures that might try to ambush her considering her health is very low.

  She spots spider on the ceiling ready to spit poison at her. Elza decides to somersault through to avoid the poison spit and she runs towards the door. She quickly inserts the keycard and the door opens to her relief. She a room with a couple of trees and an aggressive guerilla ready to strike. With no time to pull out a weapon, she get her knife quickly and throws it at the gorilla hoping that it will knock out the creature.

  The knife misses its heart, but it strikes the gorilla close enough to throw off its attack. The gorilla lands injured and it gives time for Elza to get her bowgun. She uses the bowgun to shoot the heart of the gorilla killing it.

  Arrows: 23

  Once the gorilla is dead, Elza is relieved to still be alive. Looking for any pickups, she doesn’t find any health pickups to her disappointment. However, she can’t turn back as the clock is ticking. Instead, she goes down the ladder and continues on her way. Going into a hallway, she ends up in a waiting area where there are fleshers on the ceiling ready for their next victim.

  Realizing that she can’t afford to get into a confrontation with the fleshers, she decides to try and crawl her way to the other side. Getting on her body, she wipes the sweat off her head and begins to crawl. As she crawls, she begins to feel a little pain on her knees after all the punishment she’s taken. However, she can ill-afford to make too much noise.

  She struggles to keep her composure, but she continues to think about Anne. After a bit of a struggle, she manages to get to the other side of the room. When she gets to the other side of the room, she’s excited to see a capsule.

  Picked up a Red Herbal Mix.

  Elza is slightly disappointed that she has only found a red herbal mix, but knows once she finds a green herbal mix she’ll be able to heal to full health. She heads to an automatic door that opens and heads to the monitor room where nothing special is lying around.

  When she gets through the door, she is in a hallway where she is met with a couple of guerillas.

  “This is not what I wanted to see! However, no one said it would be easy!” She tries to keep her confidence up.

  The gorillas go after her as they try to double team her, but she is able to backflip out of the way from the attacks. Taking her grenade launcher, she shoots both of them with one flame round. The round hits one of the gorillas as it hits it directly. The other jumps to the wall to dodge the flame round, it wall jumps and latches on Elza.

  The gorilla bearhugs Elza in an attempt to bite her. Somehow, she gets a second wind and is able to push the gorilla away from her. Once she powers out of the bearhug, she shoots a flame round burning the gorilla. Surviving another ordeal, she heads into the room. Inside the break room, she sees a couple of pickups.

  Flame Rounds: 14

  Picked up +6 Acid Rounds.

  Picked up a Green Herbal Mix.

  Elza mixes a Green and Red Herbal Mix to create a Super Herbal Mix.
