“Anne is infected... I gotta find a cure for her. However, I can’t tell Anne. I don’t want to scare her.” She says in her head and she talks to Anne.
“Listen Anne, I need you to get up and follow me, ok?”
“Ok, my stomach hurts Elza.”
“We’ll find something for that, we gotta get moving.”
Anne is a young girl who is about 13 and attends a charter school in White Plains. She’s a rather smart girl and loves to read. However, she is rather shy and is easily scared by strangers or anything unusual.
Elza and Anne head up the ladders until they get to control room. Elza uses the keycard on the panel on the side of the door to unlock the hatch. She turns the handle and pushes the hatch in where she sees a set of stairs leading out of the sewers. When the two get out of the sewers, they find themselves at the entrance to the bus depot.
“We’re at the bus depot!” Anne says happily.
“Do you know anyone here?” Elza asks.
“My father works here, maybe he can help us. Come on let’s go, I know where he is!” Anne runs off until Elza screams.
“Anne! Wait for me! We can’t just go like that. We don’t know if any monsters are around ready to attack. Let’s go together, ok?” Elza tells Anne.
“Ok.” Anne answers.
The two of them go into the bus depot with Anne staying behind Elza. The depot is filled with buses and up ahead, Elza can see a horde of zombies. She takes her pistol and kills the majority of the zombies with her pistol from mid range.

However, after killing the zombies the horde grows bigger and the two become overwhelmed. Elza points to a gate up ahead and the two run towards it. Some of the zombies behind them prove to be crimson faces and begin to run after the two. When they get to gate, Elza spots a small opening in the gate that she orders Anne to the hole.
Anne crawls through the hole and just fits through the hole. Elza is in relief as she tries to jump the gate. However, one of the crimson face zombies grabs her and tries to bite her. However, she pushes it rather fast and she shoots a flame round into the horde burning most of the zombies. Some of them do not burn especially the crimson faces.
“Elza, hurry I’m scared!” Anne screams in fear.
“I’m coming!” Elza responds.
Despite that, she ignores them and jumps onto the gate. Climbing the gate she gets over and heads to the floor where she meets Anne. The zombies are unable to break through the gate and the two are safe for now. They find the bus depot is only 5 minutes away from their location and for Anne, she hopes to find her father.
The two head for a safe area and hide from the horde of zombies.
“Hey Anne, you said your father works here, right?” Elza asks.
“Yeah.” Anne responds.
“What does your father do exactly?”
“He’s the manager, but why you ask?”
“I ask so I know where to look for him. If we can find him fast, he still might be alive and he can help us.”
“You think my father is alive?”
“I wish I can say yes, but let’s stay positive.”
After Elza keeps Anne calm they prepare to head for the bus depot in the search for Anne’s father. They begin to walk there until they hear a loud noise.
“Elza…” Anne says scared.
“What could that be?” Elza asks as she holds Anne.
The noise is monstrous in nature and it looks like it’s coming from the bus depot itself. Could another demon from Hybrid be waiting inside of the depot? Only one way to find out and that is for the two of them to enter.
Chapter 8
Elza and Anne head towards the bus depot when they are met with a crashed bus that is in their way. Unable to get through, they try to head around the bus until they are met by a couple of strikers. The strikers try to attack the two, but they are able to jump out of the way.
Grabbing her bowgun, Elza is able to kill one of them. Trying to shoot the other raccoon, she misses it as it’s able to run from the shots. The striker runs after Anne and despite her best effort to run, she is bitten in the arm by the raccoon. Once the raccoon has its teeth on Anne, Elza is able to kill it easily using her bowgun.
Arrows: 35
“Anne, are you ok?” Elza asks.
“No, that raccoon bit me and my stomach is starting to hurt even more!” Anne screams.
“Oh no, the spread of the Raven Hawk is starting to accelerate after that bite.” Elza says in her head.
“You gotta try to get up and run with me to the bus depot.” Elza says out loud trying to rally Anne.
Anne is able to get up despite the bite saying, “I’m up! I don’t feel good, but I gotta find my father.”
The two get around the bus crash and begin to head towards the bus depot until a couple of guerrillas begin to chase them.
“Elza…” Anne says worried about the aggressive gorillas.
“Let’s run inside!” Elza tells Anne to run inside to get away from the mutated gorillas.
The door to the bus depot is open and the two escape inside. Elza locks the door as the gorillas try to knock the door down. There is a small storage room next to them where Elza tells Anne to hide in case the monsters break inside.
Within a few seconds of Anne hiding in the storage room, the two gorillas break in the hallway ready to pounce on her. They come in and one of them hits Elza rather hard taking her down to the floor. She pulls her knife in case.
Condition: Caution (Level 1)
One of the gorillas picks her up and attempts a bear hug on her. Using her knife, she stabs the gorilla in the heart causing it to let go of her. The gorilla kneels down in pain but isn’t dead. The other gorilla tries to strike her, but she jumps back able to dodge the attack. However, the gorilla is relentless in its attacks and eventually does strike her with a hard right hook.
Condition: Caution (Level 2)
With Elza on the floor, the gorilla tries to perform a double-axe handle attack on her.
Press “A” and “B” to dodge… Great!
She’s barely able to roll out of the way as the gorilla strike the ground hard. The impact is so hard that the floor actually cracks below her. Elza gets up as quickly as she can and gets behind the gorilla. Once she gets behind the creature, she shoots six arrows at it. Once it’s weakened and on the floor, Elza finishes it off by shooting more arrows at its heart.

Killing the gorillas, she heads towards the storage room to get Anne. She sees Anne is ok and they head towards the back of the bus depot only to see the shutter is blocking their way.
“The shutter is blocking our way.” Elza says.
“How about my father?” Anne screams.
“Well, I was thinking we have to get out of here but it seems we have to go search for him anyway. I just hope he’s alive and well.”
“He is Elza! I know my father and he’s a brave person.”
“I seen the manager’s office not to far from the entrance, let’s see if he’s there.” Elza trying to remain positive despite the fact there’s a good chance that Anne’s father is injured or the worse case, dead.
The two head to the manager’s office and enter. Anne calls for her father, but the room is empty. After seeing the room is empty, Anne begins to feel even more pain in her stomach while kneeling down.
“Listen, you stay here. I don’t need you to get hurt.”
“Don’t go Elza!”
“Don’t worry, I’m going to find your father, and I’ll find something to cure you.”
“Will you find my father?”
“Yes, at least I’ll try. I can assure you there’s a good chance he’s alive.” Elza says trying to keep hope alive for Anne.
Before leaving she explores the room and sees a couple of pickups.
Picked up a Green Herbal Mix.
Elza USES a Green Herbal Mix.
Condition: Caution (Level 1)
Picked up a Small Key. Used to open doors within the bus depot.
She looks at the computer and sees that there is a password needed for a Mr. Skander.
“Anne, is Mr. Skander your father?”
“Yes, but why you ask?”
“I need the password to his computer to see if we can open that back shutter.”
“I’m afraid I have no idea. My father never really let me use it when he took me to work with him.”
“I figured. I was hoping to have it so I didn’t have to leave you here. Anyway, I’ll be back as soon as I find your father and anything else that can be useful.” Elza says ready to leave.
Leaving the room, she heads back to the hallway to see what she needs to open the shutter. Looking at the panel next to the shutter, it looks like it’s asking for a passcode. She has no passcode, although she knows that Skander’s computer might have it. For now, she has to ignore it and enter the door to her left. Entering through, she sees a dark stairway leading downstairs.
As she’s walking down, a huge spider comes down from the ceiling. Grabbing her grenade launcher, she uses her flame rounds to burn the spider before it could do any harm to her.
Flame Rounds: 6
When she finishes walking down the stairs, she exits through the door and into a hallway. A loud scream is heard coming from the east side of the hall and she spots a man running through a metal door.
“Could that be Anne’s father? I gotta catch up to him!” She says to herself.
Running after the man, she bumps into a flesher that drops down from a ceiling. The flesher slashes her as soon as it comes down.
Condition: Caution (Level 2)
The flesher tries to stick out its tongue, but she jumps up to a pipe to get away from the attack. When she gets onto the pipe, she shoots another flame round to kill the flesher.
Flame Rounds: 4
Elza begins to realize that she is running low with ammo and health. Seeing that the journey is becoming tougher as she continues to move forward, she has to become more cautious on how she uses her ammo. Heading to the door the man opened, she sees that it’s locked.
It’s locked from the other side.
The man probably locked the door to prevent the flesher from chasing him. Seeing another door to her right, it’s locked as well but using the small key she found she opens it. Entering the room, she finds herself in a small storage room and finds quite a few useful pickups.
Picked up +6 Standard Grenade Rounds. Standard Rounds: 12
Picked up +36 Arrows. Arrows: 62
Picked up a Green Herbal Mix.
Picked up a Blue Herbal Mix.
After grabbing the goodies, she enters through a small door that leads to the employee’s garage. Seeing that most of the garage is empty, she pulls out her grenade launcher with the standard rounds. Walking carefully, she doesn’t see anything. That is until she hears a man screaming.
Continuing to walk around, she spots the man that was running from the flesher. She heads towards him to check on his condition. Looking at him, it looks like he was attacked by something. The man looks like he’s in bad shape as he’s bleeding profusely all over and unless she can find anything to cover the wounds, the man will die.
Trying to find something for the man, she enters through a door into a medical room. Inside the medical room, she finds a couple of fat zombies in doctor uniforms. Using her pistol, she is able to kill one of them with many bullets from her pistol. Having to reload her pistol, the other zombie nearly grabs her.
Taking her knife, she throws it at the zombie’s head and it falls to the ground. After reloading her pistol, she’s able to kill the zombie.

Once the zombies are dead, the wounded man comes into the room.
“Hey, I’m gonna heal you up. You’re bleeding badly! Stay where you are until I patch you up.” Elza says to the man.
“I’m afraid that I’m too hurt to help you much. Those primates and especially the ‘King’ really did quite the number on me…” The man says before he hits the floor.
“Don’t give up, I’ll help you. I promise, besides I gotta get out of here to save a little girl I found.”
“Who are you… talking about? Is it... Anne?” He asks weakly.
“Yes… wait a minute… are you Mr. Skander, Anne’s father?”
“Yes I am… I know I told her… to go to the police… station because… it was too dangerous at… home. What is she doing here?” He asks in agony.
“Perhaps you were correct in sending your daughter with your wife at the police station, but it’s just as bad there as outside.”
“Oh no, she’s in danger then. These animals... from Hybrid are roaming around like crazy…”
“How do you know that they’re from Hybrid?”
“I was paid off… to keep shut about… their secret laboratory… being here… I know I was wrong in hiding… however please tell Anne that… I always loved her and I’m sorry… I wasn’t a better… father.”
“Oh dear, listen is there anything you can help me with?”
“Yes, here is the password… to my computer… you should be able to… unlock the shutter with it… I’m… sorry…” He gives her a piece of paper before he passes away from his injuries.
“No, Mr. Skander… What do I tell Anne? Eventually she’ll want to know about her father. I can’t afford to say anything right now, lest she gets sick even further. I’ll tell her when this is all over.” She says after Anne’s father dies.
Elza takes a look at password that was given to her by Anne’s father.
“Password: WellOfSouls, no additional login credentials required.”
Another thing that concerns her is that she has no idea what could have killed Anne’s father and why did he hide Hybrid’s secret? Not to mention, how will she tell Anne that her father died? Sure she doesn’t have to say that her father knew about Hybrid, but Anne will want to know if her father is alive or not. More questions than answers come into Elza’s head.
Now that she has the password to get out, she can head back upstairs to get the passcode. She doesn’t leave the room right away as she searches for anything that can prove to be useful. Upon looking around the room, she does find a few pickups.
Picked up a Pistol Clip. Pistol Ammo: 30
Picked up +6 Acid Rounds.
Picked up +6 Flame Rounds. Flame Rounds: 10
Picked up a Red Herbal Mix.
Elza mixes a Green, Blue and Red Herbal mix to create an Ultimate Herb.
Picked a First Aid Spray.
Elza USES the First Aid Spray.
Condition: Fine
She also sees a small composition notebook that has Skander’s name, Elza begins to read it…
Skander’s Notes
“This feels wrong because it really is actually. However, the extra money will help me finance a better life for my daughter Anne and wife Sherry. Sometimes I ask myself, is this worth the money? Can Hybrid really be trusted or are they up to no good?
This is such a shameful secret that I even have to hide it from my wife and I usually tell her everything. I just don’t know what to do anymore, after all I really want Anne to have a great education. However, I got a call from a person named George Fisher. He tells me that Hybrid is up to no good and I need to come forward with what I know.
He assured that I would be ok and he would guarantee me that nothing would happen to me or my family. I decided to think about what he told me and while I wanted to go with George, something told me no. Now I’m down here hiding from mutant gorilla’s and I’m regretting it big time.
At the end of the day though, I get what I ask for. Please forgive me Anne; please forgive me Sherry for putting our family in danger. I let greed get in the way of what really mattered, which was our strong family. When, not if I die, please know that I always loved you both and I always had the best of intentions for us. I just messed up…”
Once she reads the entry, she realizes that Anne’s father wasn’t a total saint. Despite that though, it sounds like he really cared about his family and he was just a victim of Hybrid’s predatory business practices. In one sense she’s upset, in another now she knows that Hybrid is really responsible and she has evidence to prove it all. Now it’s just the matter of escaping with her life.
The thing that concerns her is how she will tell Anne about her father. She decides to rip the page from the notebook and save it.
“I’ll probably tell her when she’s older and she understands life better.” She says in her head.
Finding nothing else in the medical room, she heads back to the garage where only a few cars of employees are parked. She hears a loud noise that sounds like gorillas ready to attack her. She readies her grenade launcher with the standard rounds.
The noise can be heard again and this time it’s much close. What could it be?
Chapter 9
After hearing the noise, she is prepared for a possible ambush as the scene becomes too quiet for her. When she heads towards the exit, a couple of guerillas ambush Elza from the sides. One of them rushes towards her and performs a running drop kick on her.
Condition: Caution (Level 1)
Once Elza hits the ground, she gets right up and begins to shoot one of the mutant gorillas only to miss it. The gorilla sidesteps from the shot and the grenade instead destroys an employee’s car setting it on fire. The other mutant gorilla rushes towards her again and tries to punch her again.
Press “A” and “B” to dodge… Great!
After getting out of the way from the gorilla’s punch, the other gorilla goes in for an attack.
Press “A” and “B” to backflip… Well Done!
She’s able to successfully backflip from the gorilla’s attack. It’s clear that her agility and dexterity skills are being put to the test. When she is able to get some space, she shoots a couple of grenades that hit both of the gorillas. One of them is blow up by the impact while the other is able to jump in time to just be blown away by the impact.

The other gorilla gets up and begins to zigzag around making it impossible for Elza to get a good shot at the creature. The creature jumps on her and exposes its sharp teeth. It tries to use its teeth to bite into Elza’s flesh, but she’s able to hold it back.
