Picked up a Blue Herbal Mixture.
Picked up a Cup. I can use this to hold the water.
Once he gets the herbal mixture needed, he heads into the bathroom where he turns on the sink to get water.
Picked up a Cup of Water.
Obtaining the cup of water, he picks her up and lays her back on the wall. He administers the blue herbal mixture and cup of water. After she drinks the mixture, she opens her eyes slowly.
“Welcome back…” He says.
“What happened?” She asks.
“You were poisoned. Stay here, I’ll be back. I want you to rest a bit while I go up and see if I can get the tram system going.” He says while she nods her head and rests.
After caring for Dawn, he goes to the elevator that he had ignored at first and takes it up to the upper level. Once he gets to the upper level, he sees a double door leading to the security room. When he gets to the security room, he is surprised to see no creatures or zombies. What he does see is the security computer, he begins to use it.

Logging off the computer, he sees access to the waterworks is open and he’s at the homestretch.
“Hey George, I got the tram line going.” Hondo calls George.
“Good, all left to do is take the tram to the waterworks.” George replies.
He takes a quick look at the security cameras and sees some of the sights around the dam. One of the cameras catches his attention and that is the one looking at the turbine room. He has no idea where that is, but he knows as long as he completes his mission at the waterworks it won’t matter.
Once he’s done in the security room, he heads down to where Dawn is and finds her up. The two are ready to go until Hondo gets a call from George.
“Hey Hondo, listen there is a turbine room here. I know we don’t need to find it as you are going to do your business at the waterworks. However, I believe we should still investigate and try to find that room. You just never know.” George says.
“What do you suggest?” He asks.
“I suggest that you go to the waterworks solo and leave Dawn here to try to find the turbine room. Something tells me we might be wasting our time at the waterworks, but I’m no expert.” George answers.
“Alright then.” He replies.
“What happened?” Dawn asks.
“I’ll have to go to the waterworks solo. George wants you to see if you can find the turbine room in the dam. There’s a chance we can stop the contamination from here proper, but it’s a chance we can’t take. So I’m going to the tram, wish me luck.” He answers.
“Hmm… ok. I’ll do my best.” She answers.
Dawn decides to stay in the main building to keep investigating while Hondo leaves the building and goes towards the back of the dam. When he gets to the back of the dam, he sees the street continue towards the north exit of the dam leading into the rest of Rockland County. However, he also sees more guerillas ready to pounce on him.
Instead of fighting them due to his low ammo, he runs to the door at the top of a small stairway. He dodges several punches from the attacking gorillas and keeps running without looking back. When he gets to the door, he opens the door quickly and closes the door as fast as possible.
Spotting a few zombies, he uses his shotgun to shoot the zombies in the head scoring several easy headshot kills.

He spots a Hybrid Corp. labeled box and explores inside.

Hondo mixes a Green and Red Herbal Mix to create a Super Herbal Mix.
After grabbing the goodies out of the box, he sees the tram parked. He hits the green button to open the door and heads inside. Pressing the button inside, the tram begins to move towards the waterworks where the fate of NYC will be resting.
Chapter 5
When the tram finally reaches its final destination, Hondo gets out of the tram and heads into a hallway. Going through the short hallway that has a tan color with white tiles and a green stripe cutting through the middle, he heads back outside. When he gets outside, he sees the waterworks building from the outside. It’s a rather big complex that is divided into two buildings.
The first building to the left is the main building where the clarifiers, filters, and main water locks are located. The second building is the observation building where the operations are observed from. He also sees the skies darkening even more from before and the sound of thunder becomes even louder. Even strikes of lighting can be seen.
“Ok George, what’s the situation here?” Hondo asks George.
“Well Hondo, like I said Chief Mustang and the Hybrid goonies have used this facility to dump their chemicals into the city water system. There are three main systems that you have to shutdown to prevent the chemicals from spreading into the main water supply.”
“I’m here, I’ll keep you updated.” Hondo replies before heading to the complex.
Hondo knows that it’s now or never and the fate of the residents of New York City are in his hands. He begins to feel some drizzle falling down on him as he heads to the main building.
This door is locked.
“Damn I knew that would be too simple. The key is probably in the smaller building, I got no time to waste.” He says as he spots the locked door.
Turning around, he enters the observation building and sees the reception. There are a few workers turned zombies inside that he kills rather easily.
Pistol Ammo: 37
Once the zombies are dead, he checks the receptionist’s computer to see if he can find any keys. A zombie on the floor grabs his legs and begins to pick at them. Hondo without panicking steps on the head of the zombie destroying its head. Looking in the desk, he sees that there is no key in the desk. Seeing no key in the desk, he heads to the door that is behind the receptionist desk.
Heading through the door, he sees more zombies with crimson faces. The aggressive zombies go after him and not taking any chances, he pulls out his shotgun. Out of the four zombies that run after him, he kills three in two shots including one shot that blows away two of the zombies heads. The fourth zombie is able to slash him with its claws dealing some damage to him.
Condition: Caution (Level 1)
He punches the zombie in the face knocking it back. Using his shotgun he shoots the head off the crimson face zombie.

When he looks in the two computer rooms, he comes up empty when it comes to finding a key to the other building. Seeing another door ahead, he heads inside. Upon entering, he spots a gruesome scene when a worker is cornered and eaten by the undead in the area. The blood from the worker begins to gush out like crazy and when the zombie pick on him a deep red pool of blood can be seen.
“Holy shit! That has got to hurt! I better move quick or this will be the future of New York.” Hondo says watching the blood filled scene.
Pulling out his pistol, he is able to shoot the zombies that had eaten the worker. Despite the gruesome death of the worker, he goes to see who the worker is. He sees a smartphone that the worker was using and looking at it, he can see the pictures he was taking. Going through the pictures he realizes that the pictures were the same ones that the worker was sending to George.
“Damn this was George’s friend. I came too late to save him, damn it Hybrid! Wait I see something though.” Hondo says when he spots George’s friend dead.
Picked up a Waterworks Key. This key opens the door to the big building.
Once he gets the key, he goes to the observation room inside where he sees a computer that he can use. However, it’s not particularly useful but it does show him the chemical levels of the Raven Hawk Virus in the system.
“Whoa! These numbers are off the charts. This is the kind of stuff that would kill a human instantly even by just smelling it! The PH level is ridiculously low, this stuff might be raw battery acid!” Hondo says in shock by the dangerous chemical levels.
“Maybe you can speed things up just a bit and make sure these chemicals don’t get into the actual system…” George reminds him about the mission at hand.
With the key in hand, he heads to the other building and opens the door. He arrives at the sewage intake area of the waterworks. Arriving inside, he finds some crimson faced zombies that begin to chase him. He runs back and uses his shotgun. He calmly waits for the zombies to get close to him and lands five head shots on each of the five zombies that come towards him.
Shotgun Ammo: 23
Seeing no more zombies, he goes up the stairs to the pathway leading to the where the actual intake of the sewers heading towards the clarifiers and eventually the filters.
“Ok I’m in the main building, now what?” Hondo asks.
“You have to shut off the clarifiers, the filtration system, and the main intake pumps. Basically shut everything down so that Mustang has no chance to put his dirty hands into our water system.” George answers him.
After getting an answer, he sees a door with a sign on its side indicating that he is entering the blue clarifier room. Entering the hallway before the control room, he kills a couple of regular slow zombies with his pistol.
Pistol Ammo: 29
Entering the blue clarifier control room, he sees that the room is is filled with numerous amounts of zombies. Three of them get too close for comfort and he uses his shotgun to hit them in order to get some distance. He tries to shoot them, but his shotgun gets jammed again. Another two zombies get close to him and he’s left to use his fists as he has no time to get his newly acquired machine gun.
Using his left hook, he is able to behead one of the zombies. The other zombie uses Hondo’s distraction to grab him and begins to bite him. He’s able to push it away, but not before he takes some damage.
Condition: Caution (Level 1)
The zombie rushes in order to grab him again and he sidesteps out of the way. Hondo punches the zombie’s head right into the wall and with his brassknuckles the attack power is enhanced ensuring an instant kill. Before he could celebrate, the other three zombies go after him and begin to overwhelm him. His shotgun remains jammed and he’s forced to pull out his pistol as a last resort.
The pistol proves to be ineffective against the hard hat zombies and one of them grabs him, then it tackles him on the floor. The zombie gets down and begins trying to bite him. Hondo holds the zombie’s hand the best he can and punches it with his right fist. The punch proves to be rather effective, but the other two zombies get to him before he’s able to get up.
The other two zombies get on top of him right away and despite his best efforts to fight him off they overpower him. The two zombies begin to bite a defenseless Hondo, until shots are heard. A waterworks worker begins to shoot at the zombies that are on top of Hondo. The female worker is able to get the zombies attention away from Hondo and towards her. Continuing to shoot, she is able to kill one of them but gets eaten by the other before she could reload her pistol.
Condition: Caution (Level 2)
Getting up as fast as he can, Hondo sees the zombie that was trying to eat him alive and shoots it with his pistol killing it.
Pistol Ammo: 19
“Poor woman gave her life to save mine. At least I’m still standing” He says before calling George.
“Hey George, I’m in the blue clarifier room. What’s next?” He asks George.
“You need to shut down them down, but make sure you shut down the mixer before turning the valve by the actual clarifier outsider.” George answers.
He sees the computer the controls the mixing for the blue clarifier and begins to use it.
Blue Clarifier - Options.

“Oh crap, I hit the wrong button!” Hondo says hitting rapid mixing by mistake.
“Yeah you better fix that or that poison will have a faster time getting into the system.” George says.
You have selected Power Down.
Hondo can hear the mix shut down after pressing the correct option. Once the mixer is shut down, he sees a map of the entire waterworks.
Picked up a map of the Waterworks.
Ahead of him he sees the door leading to the red clarifier, so head heads through the door and enters the control room. Inside the control room, he sees a couple a fleshers inside. Unjamming his shotgun, he tries to shoot the flesher but it jumps up to the ceiling. The flesher crawls on the ceiling and slashes him from above dealing some damage.
Hondo tries to shoot, but the flesher grabs him by the throat and tries to slash his throat. He’s able to hang on to his shotgun and shoots the flesher with the shotgun in the head blindly. Once he kills the flesher, he falls down to the ground hard but still alive.
Condition: Danger
Hondo uses a Super Herbal Mix.
Condition: Fine
Not risking it, he heals himself and catches his breath after another near death experience. At this point though, he’s become used to the many near-deaths. Seeing the computer, he uses it.
Red Clarifier - Options.

You have selected Power Down.
Powering down the mixing for the red clarifier and seeing there are only two, he heads down stairs to search for the valves for the clarifiers.
“There! The mixers are down, all I need to do is shut the valves down, and that should take care of the clarifiers.” He says in his head.
When he gets downstairs, he spots a flesher. This time, he spots it without being ambushed and is able to kill it in two shots. Taking care of the creature, he sees a sign next to the door that says, “Blue Clarifier Main Valve”.
Shotgun Ammo: 20
Heading outside, he notices that the rain has picked up and the thunder becomes more frequent in occurrence. When he spots the valve for the clarifier on the other side, he makes his way there. Before he can get to the other side though, he is ambushed by a few Lizardas.
The Lizardas head towards him and one of them tries to attack him.
Press “A” and “B” to dodge… Good!
He is able to avoid the attack from the first Lizarda by diving to the right. As he dives, Hondo shoots the Lizarda and kills it. One of the other Lizardas catches him getting up and strikes him causing him to hit the wall.
Shotgun Ammo: 18
Condition: Caution (Level 1)
The third Lizarda comes at him when he’s still down and tries to thrust its claws into his heart. He punches its face and knocks it down temporarily. With time to spare, he’s able to get up and shoots both Lizardas one time. After shooting them both, he waits for one of the creatures to get up. When one of them gets up, he kills it with another shotgun blast.
Shotgun Ammo: 15
Not waiting for the other lizard to get up, he rushes towards it and begins to punch it repeatedly with a hard combination of left and right punches until it bleeds out of its mouth. With the brassknuckles still on, he delivers one last punch and breaks the jaw of the creature. Hondo’s not sure whether he has killed the creature or not, but decides to keep moving.
Spotting the valve on the blue clarifier, he turns it and the water in the clarifier begins to drain until it’s empty.
“There’s one down, only one more to go.” He says.
Seeing a door behind him, he heads towards it thinking it will lead him to the red clarifier. However, he ends up in a huge room that turns out to be the main intake pump room.
“This seems to be the main intake pump room. I better leave this for last and concentrate on the clarifiers.” He says trying to stay on task.
Looking at the map, he sees that the red clarifier is under the control room for the blue clarifier. Heading back to the control room for the blue clarifier, he heads down the stairs that he had missed before. When he gets downstairs, there are two doors. One leads to the red clarifier valve and the other door leads to the filtration system.
Remaining on task, he heads to the door leading to the red clarifier. When he gets back outside, the rain picks up even further and it turns into a downpour. Hondo could care less about getting wet, although a lightning bolt nearly strikes him. The bolt is enough to scare him back for a moment, but he gets up and continues to the valve. Getting to the other side, he gets to the valve and turns it shutting the red clarifier down.
“The clarifiers are shut down!” Hondo says when he calls George.
“Good job! Only two more items and we’ll have prevented a disaster.” George replies to Hondo before cutting off.
Before Hondo can get back inside, a couple of froggers pop out from the pool of water next to him. Realizing that the froggers can only attack with their tongues, he runs from them. One of them tries to grab him using its tongue, but he’s able to run inside before the tongue can reach him. Entering the waterworks again, he spends a minute drying off before he realizes that it won’t really matter as he has to go back outside.
Heading back outside to the flirtation room, he sees three valves that have to be turned to shutdown the filter. There are many zombies, but nothing that he can’t handle. He uses his pistol to kill all of them without taking damage while running out of ammo for his weapon.
Pistol Ammo: 0
Approaching the valves for the filtration system, a frogger appears from the water and slashes him good before he can get a shot to get away.
Condition: Caution (Level 2)
He waits until the frog opens its mouth and he shoots it in its mouth killing it. After killing the frogger he heads to the first valve to turn it. After turning the first valve, another frogger comes up from the water. He is unable to get a clear shot at the creature as it keeps hopping around him.

“Yeah you better fix that or that poison will have a faster time getting into the system.” George says.

Hondo can hear the mix shut down after pressing the correct option. Once the mixer is shut down, he sees a map of the entire waterworks.
Picked up a map of the Waterworks.
Ahead of him he sees the door leading to the red clarifier, so head heads through the door and enters the control room. Inside the control room, he sees a couple a fleshers inside. Unjamming his shotgun, he tries to shoot the flesher but it jumps up to the ceiling. The flesher crawls on the ceiling and slashes him from above dealing some damage.
Hondo tries to shoot, but the flesher grabs him by the throat and tries to slash his throat. He’s able to hang on to his shotgun and shoots the flesher with the shotgun in the head blindly. Once he kills the flesher, he falls down to the ground hard but still alive.
Condition: Danger
Hondo uses a Super Herbal Mix.
Condition: Fine
Not risking it, he heals himself and catches his breath after another near death experience. At this point though, he’s become used to the many near-deaths. Seeing the computer, he uses it.

Powering down the mixing for the red clarifier and seeing there are only two, he heads down stairs to search for the valves for the clarifiers.
“There! The mixers are down, all I need to do is shut the valves down, and that should take care of the clarifiers.” He says in his head.
When he gets downstairs, he spots a flesher. This time, he spots it without being ambushed and is able to kill it in two shots. Taking care of the creature, he sees a sign next to the door that says, “Blue Clarifier Main Valve”.

Heading outside, he notices that the rain has picked up and the thunder becomes more frequent in occurrence. When he spots the valve for the clarifier on the other side, he makes his way there. Before he can get to the other side though, he is ambushed by a few Lizardas.
The Lizardas head towards him and one of them tries to attack him.
Press “A” and “B” to dodge… Good!
He is able to avoid the attack from the first Lizarda by diving to the right. As he dives, Hondo shoots the Lizarda and kills it. One of the other Lizardas catches him getting up and strikes him causing him to hit the wall.

The third Lizarda comes at him when he’s still down and tries to thrust its claws into his heart. He punches its face and knocks it down temporarily. With time to spare, he’s able to get up and shoots both Lizardas one time. After shooting them both, he waits for one of the creatures to get up. When one of them gets up, he kills it with another shotgun blast.

Not waiting for the other lizard to get up, he rushes towards it and begins to punch it repeatedly with a hard combination of left and right punches until it bleeds out of its mouth. With the brassknuckles still on, he delivers one last punch and breaks the jaw of the creature. Hondo’s not sure whether he has killed the creature or not, but decides to keep moving.
Spotting the valve on the blue clarifier, he turns it and the water in the clarifier begins to drain until it’s empty.
“There’s one down, only one more to go.” He says.
Seeing a door behind him, he heads towards it thinking it will lead him to the red clarifier. However, he ends up in a huge room that turns out to be the main intake pump room.
“This seems to be the main intake pump room. I better leave this for last and concentrate on the clarifiers.” He says trying to stay on task.
Looking at the map, he sees that the red clarifier is under the control room for the blue clarifier. Heading back to the control room for the blue clarifier, he heads down the stairs that he had missed before. When he gets downstairs, there are two doors. One leads to the red clarifier valve and the other door leads to the filtration system.
Remaining on task, he heads to the door leading to the red clarifier. When he gets back outside, the rain picks up even further and it turns into a downpour. Hondo could care less about getting wet, although a lightning bolt nearly strikes him. The bolt is enough to scare him back for a moment, but he gets up and continues to the valve. Getting to the other side, he gets to the valve and turns it shutting the red clarifier down.
“The clarifiers are shut down!” Hondo says when he calls George.
“Good job! Only two more items and we’ll have prevented a disaster.” George replies to Hondo before cutting off.
Before Hondo can get back inside, a couple of froggers pop out from the pool of water next to him. Realizing that the froggers can only attack with their tongues, he runs from them. One of them tries to grab him using its tongue, but he’s able to run inside before the tongue can reach him. Entering the waterworks again, he spends a minute drying off before he realizes that it won’t really matter as he has to go back outside.
Heading back outside to the flirtation room, he sees three valves that have to be turned to shutdown the filter. There are many zombies, but nothing that he can’t handle. He uses his pistol to kill all of them without taking damage while running out of ammo for his weapon.

Approaching the valves for the filtration system, a frogger appears from the water and slashes him good before he can get a shot to get away.
Condition: Caution (Level 2)
He waits until the frog opens its mouth and he shoots it in its mouth killing it. After killing the frogger he heads to the first valve to turn it. After turning the first valve, another frogger comes up from the water. He is unable to get a clear shot at the creature as it keeps hopping around him.
