  Press “A” and “B” to dodge… Well Done!

  After rolling out of the way, Harry shoots the spider with a couple of shotgun shells. He kills the spider that was attacking him and now focuses on the other two. The two spiders begin to climb up the wall and they spit their toxic spit at her. She’s able to get out of the way from the spit.

  Shotgun Ammo: 12

  After dodging the spit attack, he shoots both spiders and is able to kill one of them. The other spider comes down from the ceiling and tackles him on the ground. Once Harry is on the ground, the spider attacks him with its legs. Taking his knife, he stabs the spider in the abdomen. Once he stabs the spider, he is able to escape from its grasps and finish it off with a shotgun blast. The knife comes off the spider and it begins to bleed the disgusting green blood.

  Shotgun Ammo: 11

  Once he clears out the Gallery of the spiders, he sees a door with a panel next to it. Heading to the panel, he sees three eye pictures. What catches his attention is that the eyes are the same as he saw in the game room before. Each of the eyes has a distinct color as well. The problem becomes the numbers on the keypad.

  Harry is not a pool player, so he is unsure what numbers go with red, green, and blue when it comes to a pool table. As a result he decides to bypass it and go into the next dorm room, which is numbered 103. Heading inside the room, he sees a desk and decides to use the old key to unlock the desk.

  Picked +7 Shotgun Shells. Shotgun Ammo: 18

  After getting the ammo, he heads towards the door and tries to open it. However it’s locked, kicking the door doesn’t help either. Turning around he sees a book case full of red books, there is one book missing though.

  “Hmm… the red book in the other bedroom. I wonder if I put the book on the bookcase, will the door unlock. Well there’s only one way to find out…” He says in his head.

  He decides to turn back and go through the hallway until he gets back to dorm room 102. The red book is still on the bed and he goes to pick it up.

  Picked up a Red Book. What will happen when I put it on the bookcase?

  After grabbing the red book, he heads back to the gallery. However, before he gets to the gallery, he hears footsteps in the hallway. He tries to hear where the footsteps are coming from and walks to the end of the hall. Reaching the end of the hall, he doesn’t see anyone or even any evidence that anyone has been around.

  “Must be my mind playing games with me. All I see is that ugly thing in chains. I better find a way to kill it or it’s gonna keep haunting my mind.” He says to himself.

  Entering room 103, he sees where the book belongs and places it there. Once the book is in its proper place, he hears the door unlock. He prepares to enter the library where the creature known as Ivy is said to be located. Before he turns the knob though, he sees a small manual that is labeled “CHLOROKILLER”.

  Glancing over the manual, he sees it’s a manual on how to make the root killer to kill Ivy. The book proves useless to Harry due to his lack of knowledge when it comes to chemistry. However, he decides to take the manual and puts it in his vest pocket.

  When he enters the library, he sees Ivy and attempts to shoot the creature. Ivy grabs him using its vines and keeps him in its tight grasp. Harry is unable to break out of the creature’s vine. Rebecca comes into the room and sees Harry is in trouble.

  “Harry! What is that?” She asks.

  “Rebecca, you gotta help me! Listen, take this manual. It has important information on how to make the chemical. You have to find it’s roots! It’s in the aqua ring underground, you gotta hurry!” He screams instructions to Rebecca.

  She grabs the manual and replies, “Just hang on Harry, I’ll do my best!”

  After grabbing the manual, she exits the library.

  Rebecca has to create the beta chemical known as CHLOROKILLER and hope that mixture kills Ivy’s roots. Harry’s life hangs in the balance.

  Chapter 8

  Rebecca’s Playthrough

  Pistol Ammo: 30

  She leaves the library and wonders how she will kill the root. After leaving the library, Rebecca begins to read the manual to create the chemical.

  CHLOROKILLER Manual and how to make it.

  “We have developed a chemical that we believe will help the defeat the Ivy. What we know is that Ivy has to be killed within its roots in order to cut off its feeding ability. However, even at this point we don’t have an idea whether if this will actually work. It’s all just an educated guessed based on research and simulators, but it’s better than nothing.

  Anyway in order to create the chemical, you have to mix the chemicals in a certain way. There are four different colors and chemicals. They are listed as follows:

  - NP-003 – Blue

  - FP-005 – Yellow

  - NW-006 – Red

  - JK-004 – White

  There is also this equation to follow so you can create the chemical flawlessly.

  5+3 = 8… 6+4 = 10… ?+?+? = 21

  The 21 stands for the chemical level in our creations, it’s a rather high number. Extreme care must be taken when creating CHLOROKILLER as any screw up can have devastating results including creating a cloud of deadly poison.

  Also very important… The chemical must be created in a certain sequence, which is why the manual and equation has been provided for you. I’m sure if you are an employee of Hybrid and are reading this you can figure it out without us having to give away trade secrets.”

  After reading the manual she heads to the chemical room and realizes the room is locked with the panel next to it. Noticing the symbols, colors, and numbers, she remembers seeing something in the game room. So she heads out of the gallery into the hallway where she bumps into a few zombies.

  She is grabbed from behind by one zombie as another tries to grab her in order to bite her. She tries to kick the zombie in front of her while the zombie holding her from behind continues to bite her. Rebecca is able to kick the zombie in front of her away from her and is able to escape the grasps of the other zombie.

  Condition: Caution (Level 1)

  When she escapes, she kills the zombie that was holding her with her pistol. The other zombie that was in front of her tries to grab her.

  Press “A” and “B” to dodge… Well Done!

  After getting out of the way, she kills the other zombie with her pistol by pumping a few rounds on its head.

  Pistol Ammo: 18

  Once she kills the zombies, she continues on her way towards the game room. When she gets to the hallway outside the game room, a crimson face zombie pops out of the room and chases her. Rebecca runs towards the entrance and finds a pick axe. However, she is not strong enough to pick it up.

  The zombie runs after her and grabs her. Fighting off the zombie, she is able to tackle it down and its head hits the tip of the pick axe. Once the head of the zombie hits the pick axe its head begins to bleed rapidly. The zombie becomes unresponsive and the sight of the blood is enough to scare Rebecca as she gets up.

  However, she knows that she is still alive and the zombie is now dead. She heads towards the game room where she sees the candles with their respective colors.

  Looking at the green candle, she sees a plain eye. The blue candle has an eye with one line and the red candle had an eye with two lines. Rebecca tries to remember what she sees in order to solve the panel to unlock the chemical room.

  After gathering those clues, she heads to the pool table. Looking at the colors, she remembers her days when she was in High School when she played pool. While she has an idea what numbers go where, she takes a second look just to be sure.

  Looking at the table, she sees blue is 2, red is 3, and green is 6. She tries to remember everything she just saw despite not having anything to write with. Once she’s done in the pool room, she heads back to the gallery to see if she can unlock the chemical room.

  When she goes the panel, she sees the three eyes. The first one has just the eye, so she presses that button. Next she has to select the color. In this case she selects green because that was the color of the candle that gave off that symbol. Finally she presses the number 6 indicating the number on the green cue ball on the table.

  After doing that she moves on to the picture of the eye with two lines, pressing the button she moves down to the next line and chooses red. Finally, she presses the 3 on the keypad.

  Rebecca moves to the final symbol that is an eye with one line and chooses blue on the color button portion. Then she hits the 2 on the keypad. After pressing the buttons on the panel, all the lights light up in sync indicating that she has figured out the code. A few seconds later, she hears the electronic lock being released.

  She enters the room and sees a whole bunch of chemicals in the room. She sees three glass jars and grabs them.

  Picked up 3 Glass Jars. They are used to mix the chemicals.

  Looking at the manual she sees that she has to hit 21 in order to create the CHLOROKILLER chemical. After reading the manual a second time, she begins to grab chemicals to mix them.

  Rebecca puts some NP-003 in one jar.

  She puts some NW-006 in another jar.

  She puts some JK-004 in another jar.

  She decides to mix the chemicals as she goes until she hits 21 without reading the equation in the manual.

  She mixes the NW-006 with the JK-004 to create a chemical with a value of 10.

  She mixes that with the NW-003 and the chemical bursts creating a toxic reaction!

  A cloud of toxic gas is creating and it quickly engulfs the room in poisonous gas. Rebecca quickly begins to get dizzy and her breathing becomes heavy. Rushing out of the room, she closes the door to prevent the gas from getting out of the room. There is a button for the vent that she presses that activates the air purifier to remove the toxic gas.

  When she gets out of the room, she catches her breath and kneels down for a couple of minutes to recover her equilibrium. Once the room has been cleared of the poisonous cloud of gas, she reenters the room. When she reenters, she decides that she will pay attention to the manual.

  Grabbing the three jars in the room, she looks at the equation that starts with 5 plus 3.

  She puts some NP-003 in one jar.

  She puts some FP-006 in another jar.

  She mixes both to get a chemical with a value of 8.

  Once she gets that mixture done, she puts that jar to the side and focuses on the next part of the equation that says 6 plus 4.

  She puts some NW-006 in one jar.

  She puts some JK-004 in another jar.

  She mixes them and gets a chemical with a value of 10.

  She is confused a bit about the last part of the equation that has all question marks. However when she puts two and two together, she realizes that she has to add what she has already and mix them together which would make 18. From them she has to add 3 to that in order to get 21.

  She mixes the jars with chemicals with a value of 8 and 10.

  She makes a chemical with a value of 18.

  She puts some NP-003 in an empty jar.

  She mixes the chemical valued at 18 with the NP-003.

  You have created CHLOROKILLER!

  After creating the chemical she needs, she takes a look at the manual and sees she missed something. Reading the part she missed, she sees that the root for Ivy is in the aqua ring in the break room.

  She rushes out of the gallery knowing she has little time to rescue Harry from the creature. Entering the bedroom where the aqua ring can be accessed, she is grabbed by a zombie that was hiding in the bathroom.

  She fights off the zombie, but not before she takes a decent amount of damage. Pushing the zombie away from her, she kills the zombie with her pistol.

  Pistol Ammo: 12

  Condition: Caution (Level 2)

  Once the zombie is dead, she heads down the ladder and enters the aqua ring. There are a few zombies in the hall, but she decides to outrun them seeing her ammo is limited. She runs until she gets to the end of the hall and enters the actual aqua ring. She runs towards the break room and sees the roots of the creature. She gets close to the roots and prepares to apply the chemical.

  “I hope this works, please protect Harry.” She prays that the chemical works.

  Rebecca applies the Chemical to the roots of Ivy.

  After applying the chemical, the roots begin to wither and shrink is size. After about five minutes, the roots are nearly gone and begin to crack as they weaken.

  Above Rebecca, the vines on Harry begin to lose their grip on him. Eventually he is able to escape the grasp of Ivy.

  Harry’s Playthrough

  After falling on the floor, Harry gets up and sees the Ivy die off rather quickly and eventually it withers away. Once Ivy is gone, Harry begins to explore the room and finds a key on one of the bookcases.

  Picked up a Mansion Key.

  Harry CHECKS the key. Turning the key around, he sees a picture of a Helmet. The key opens any door that has a picture of a helmet on the doorknob.

  After grabbing the key, he sees Rebecca enter the room.

  “Harry! You’re ok!” She screams happily.

  “Thanks to you of course. You have proven yourself to be quite a team member.” He replies happily.

  “I was just doing my job.” She says humbly.

  “So much for him, we got to the ‘root’ of the problem! Saved again by you.” He says humorously.

  “Well, I just…” She looks for the right words.

  “No, really thank you.” He replies.

  “You would do the same the same… wouldn’t you?” She asks in a semi-flirtious tone.

  “I guarantee it!” He replies keeping his cool.

  “At the chemical room, I found some things I could use to make something to heal your injuries. I’ll stay here to see what I can make.” She says as she heads towards the chemical room.

  “Ok! I’ll head back to the mansion to see what else I can scoop up. Catch you later.” He says while waving bye towards her.

  When he leaves the gallery, he bumps into Barry.

  “Barry? You’re alive.” Harry says when he sees Barry.

  “Harry, you’re alive as well.” He says.

  “My words exactly.” Harry replies.

  “Listen Harry, there are many unexplored rooms in the mansion that I need you to explore. We need to start looking for a way out of here.” Barry explains.

  “I agree. Alright then, I’ll head back to the mansion and see what I can find there.” Harry agrees with Barry.

  “I’m counting on you Harry.” Barry says as he heads inside the gallery.

  Once the conversation is over, Harry begins to head out of the guardhouse. However, before he can leave, the creature that attacked him in the cabin pops out of the medical room. The creature tries to smack him with it’s brace with spike.

  Press “A” and “B” to dodge… Good!

  Harry is able to dodge the attack, but falls on his back. With Harry down, the creature with the chains attempt to perform a double-axe handle on him.

  Press “A” and “B” to roll… Close but good enough!

  He rolls out of the way and escapes from the guardhouse. Harry runs until he reaches the upper part of the courtyard where he loses Lisa Alexander.

  “Whew! That was a close call.” He says while catching his breath.

  Taking the elevator down, he heads back to the mansion. The trek to the mansion is mostly uneventful and he enters the mansion. He is in the east hallway of the mansion and as he walks deeper into the hallway, he hears the door open.

  After hearing the door open, he looks behind him and is shocked by what he sees…

  Chapter 9

  What he sees is a green mutated lizard that has sharp claws and an ugly face due to the exposure of the Raven Hawk virus. This creature is known as Lizarda and it has high agility. It has the ability to wall jump and can be tricky to shoot down.

  Pulling out his magnum, he tries to shoot the creature and misses. The Lizarda wall jumps and tries to slash Harry.

  Press “A” and “B” to dodge… Great!

  He’s able to dive away from the attack and shoots the Lizarda in one shot without taking damage.

  Magnum Ammo: 13

  He sees a door with the emblem of the Clark Family on it. Using the Helmet key, he unlocks the door and enters. It turns out to be Matthew Clark’s study where he used to get away from everyone. The light is turned on and he looks around for anything useful. He manages to find something useful.

  Picked up an Emblem. It’s an octagonal object with the emblem of the Clark Family.

  After picking up the object, he sees something on the desk.

  Picked up a jar of Gunpowder D.

  Seeing nothing else on the desk or the room itself, he decides to leave the room. Then he hears screaming coming from the second floor that sound like Rebecca.

  “Aghhh!!” The woman screams.

  “Rebecca!” Harry screams hoping for an answer.

  Harry rushes towards the east stairway in order to get upstairs. When he gets to the stairway, he sees a Lizarda ready to attack. The creature wall jumps and slashes Harry who isn’t ready for the attack.

  He aims for the creature as it jumps up ready to attack. Waiting for the apex of the Lizarda’s jump, he’s able to shoot the creature down and kill it in one shot.

  Magnum Ammo: 12

  He rushes up the stairs when he bumps into another Lizarda and this one tackles him slashing him. The creature deals a good amount of damage to Harry.

  Condition: Caution (Level 1)

  He tries to get up, but is unable to. The Lizarda jumps onto him and prepares to deal its final blow. However the continued screaming of the woman triggers Harry’s determination and he punches the Lizarda in the face. While the punch only knocks it down, Harry is able to get up and take aim at the Lizarda.

  He shoots the Lizarda while it’s still on the floor and pumps another shot for good measure. More screaming continues and it seems to be coming from the small library next to him. He decides to bust in, but is unable to as the door is missing a doorknob. So he has to go around through the red velvet hallway.
