Press “A” repeatedly to lift shotgun… Great!

Press “B” repeatedly to shoot shotgun… Well Done!

In complete pain, he manages to blast off the head of the zombie killing it. While the blood from the zombie spills on him, he can care less. With his blood stained clothes and leather jacket, he gets up slowly. Favoring his right arm, he realizes that he needs something to cover the wound as it’s only getting bigger.

Saving his health pickup for a dire situation, he leaves the medical room. Heading back to the hallway, he continues down the hall until he sees a couple of offices that have been ransacked. All the tables and chairs are just thrown around along with a couple of dead bodies. He checks one of them and finds a pickup.

Picked up +7 Shotgun Shells. Shotgun Ammo: 16

Hondo heads towards the other office and sees another pickup.

Picked up a Voice Recorder. He plays it and the voice is of an officer saying “Hello”.

He decides to take it just in case. Finding nothing else useful in the offices, he heads to the end of the hall where he bumps into a locked pop up door. There is a panel next to the door.

Hondo looks at the panel and sees it is a voice box that unlocks the door. The panel reads, “Say Hello”.

Hondo says hello into the voice box and the panel verifies the voice. After a few seconds, the panel makes a buzz and reads, “Voice not recognized”.

He tries to say hello again, but gets the same result. Trying to kick the door, he finds that the door is made out of metal. After taking his frustration out on the door unsuccessfully, he remembers the voice recorder he got. Taking out the recorder, he plays it next to the voice recorder.

After the voice recording plays, the panel beeps and reads, “Voice accepted”. The door unlocks and the door opens. Entering the room he sees that he is in the Lieutenant’s room.

In the room, he sees papers thrown around like someone was looking for something important. He sees a pickup on the table.

Picked up a Lighter. It’s a portable lighter without lighter fluid inside.

However, he catches a look at a piece of paper on the floor. He begins to read it:

Message to the mayor of Westchester County

  “Hello mayor,

It has comes to my attention that the White Plains police department might be under the umbrella of a corruption plot. It seems Chief Mustang has displayed his displeasure of the area in downtown White Plains. He claims that the area is crime ridden and the building has to be sold in order to be moved elsewhere.

I will say crime has increased somewhat, but not to the point like he’s talking about. He wants to move the station to a more ‘desirable’ area. My question is how the money will be raised. I’ve seen the purposed building and it’s much bigger than what we have now, filled with unnecessary rooms.

I know darn well that the sale of the station is not going to pay for the new station. So either he’s getting kickback from a third party or the poor taxpayers will have to fork over the money. I smell that the chief is trying to walk away with a quick payday at the expense of the White Plains government.

I ask that you veto the sale of this station and block it! Do the right thing for the citizens of White Plains and don’t give this guy a chance to make money off this beautiful town.”

Hondo turns the page and sees more from the Lieutenant. This was apparently written later as he can tell the font is slightly different.

“I got a sneaky suspicion now that I look at it that Chief Mustang is getting quite a kickback from the sale of the station. You must block this sale. The chief does not have the best interest of the town in his mind, only his pockets!

I have a rather good idea where he’s getting his kickback from and you won’t believe it either. It’s based on a company that has had a checkered past from a couple of years ago…”

(The rest of the letter is ripped)

“That’s it huh? Looks like the rest of the letter was ripped and I got a suspicion who and why.” Hondo becomes suspicious.

He begins to suspect that Chief Mustang took the note and ripped the rest of the letter to avoid giving away who he was working for. Also, he suspects that Hybrid has a hand in this and a deal might have been made between the two parties. He also believes that there is a secret laboratory around the area that the Raven Hawk virus was being worked on giving birth to the zombies he’s seeing.

“Looks like Hybrid didn’t get what they wanted, so they decided to send the virus straight to the town of White Plains. It’s making a bit of sense now.” He begins to dwell deeper into the possible order of events.

After putting the letter down, he hears the window behind him break open. Turning around quickly, he sees another Guerilla ready to attack.

The Guerilla immediately tries to land a hard uppercut on Hondo, but he’s able to bend backwards to avoid the attack. After avoiding the uppercut, he decides to go on the offensive and lands a hard left hook on the gorilla.

With the creature down on the floor, he pulls out his shotgun and shoots two shells relentlessly until he sees the creature bleeding out green blood. After bleeding, the Guerilla dies in front of Hondo.

  Shotgun Ammo: 14

After killing the creature, Hondo can’t help but be intrigued by the green colored blood. Seeing the color itself is enough to convince him that Hybrid has been testing gorillas in their secret laboratory with the Raven Hawk virus.

In one sense, Hondo begins to understand the story better. In another though, he is unsure if he will find any survivors in the police station. He is also sure that mutated gorillas and zombies are not the only things the Raven Hawk virus is capable of producing.

He tries to call Dawn, but the signal is too weak to call anyone. Seeing that Dawn will be out of reach, he decides to continue his journey instead as he heads down to the first floor.

  Chapter 4

Before he puts his phone away though, he notices a small crack on the screen. However, he can care less about that and sees that on the screen he has a bar of signal on the phone. Rushing towards the window, he decides to call Dawn quickly.

The house phone rings 4 times and it goes to voicemail. He leaves a voicemail despite the fact she might not be home. Still having signal, he calls her cellphone but it goes straight to voicemail instead. He leaves a voicemail on her cellphone as well.

“Damn I hope she didn’t travel an hour just to come here.” He wonders where she could be located.

Right after he hangs up the phone, it loses signal once again. Not wasting anytime, he leaves the Lieutenants room and heads back to the stairway. However, when he approaches the door to the stairway, he bumps into a new creature.

It’s a pinkish creature and it crawls out of the vent that the grate fell from. The creature looks like a mutated fleshed out human with a long tongue and a face that has its brain exposed.

Hondo is intimidated by the look of the creature and backs up a bit. Grabbing his shotgun, he prepares for battle with the new creature.

The creature is code named “Flesher” and it’s pink in color. The flesher is basically a human who has been exposed to extreme levels of the Raven Hawk Virus, although the Raven Hawk isn’t all that powerful on humans to cause such a mutation. At least that is what Dawn told Hondo after the events of the first outbreak.

The flesher has lost all human like skin and only human flesh can be seen. It makes up the lack of skin with a intimidating look with claws as it’s main attack. As a mutated human, it has lost its ability to walk on two feet and is unable to see. It makes this up with the ability to have super sonic hearing and trace its victims with noise along with a deadly jumping claw attack.

The flesher drops down to the ground and slashes Hondo’s legs. While the slash doesn’t hit him square, it’s enough to cut through his heavy jeans.

He uses his shotgun to shoot the flesher and while the shell hits the creature, it doesn’t kill it. While he is pumping his shotgun, the flesher tries to stick out its tongue.

Press “A” and “B” to dodge… Too Slow!

He is unable to get out of the way from the tongue attack that slashes his hurt arm and it proves to be sharper than a butcher’s knife. His arm begins to bleed somewhat, but he has to ignore it for now.

  Condition: Caution (Level 2)

“Damn I’m a bit slow since my boxing days! Come on Hondo, focus!” He screams to himself.

Getting up he sees the flesher bides its time preparing its next attack and attempts to shoot it. He shoots it with his shotgun, but the pink creature sidesteps to the left and Hondo totally misses to his shock.

The flesher prepares to jump to perform it’s jump claw attack and Hondo has no time to get out of the way. Prepping himself for impact, he stands his ground as the flesher does a loud screech sound jumping at him with its claw.

Hondo takes his left fist and performs his popular left hook that scored him many knockouts in his boxing career. He makes square contact at the flesher and knocks it down cleanly. When the creature is still on the floor, he finishes it off with his shotgun, shooting the flesher in the head. The blood along with the flesher’s brain spills onto the white walls.

  Shotgun Ammo: 12

He decides to heal himself a little after the battle with the flesher.

Hondo uses the Green Herbal Mix.

  Condition: Caution (Level 1)

Once he heals himself, he heads back to the stairway and heads down towards the first floor. Going down the stairs, he hits the landing for the first floor. Once he reaches the door, he sees a pick up.

Picked up a Red Herbal Mix. Useless by itself, it must be mixed with a green mixture. Once mixed it creates a Super Herb.

Opening the door, he enters the first floor of the police station and finds himself in the main hallway. There are a few zombies in the hallway that he kills easily with his pistol as he’s able to shoot them from medium range. Once he kills the zombies, he notices that the wound on his right arm is becoming bigger and he’s losing more blood.

  Pistol Ammo: 29

“Better find something to cover this wound before I start to lose more blood.” He says to himself.

Running down the hall, he eventually runs into the main lobby of the police station. There are quite a few zombies in the area looking for a piece of him. He begins to shoot them with his pistol and is able to kill three zombies.

  Pistol Ammo: 18

His ammo begins to run low and notices that zombies begin to approach him from behind. Running to the entrance that is closed off by the shaft, he is grabbed by a zombie that he failed to see. The zombie manages to get a good bite on his shoulder before he’s able to punch the zombie off him.

  Condition: Caution (Level 2)

Seeing about six zombies in police uniforms ready to grab a bite, Hondo pulls out his shotgun and begins to shoot at the horde. After a couple of shells, he kills most of the undead minus one that approaches him walking faster than the others.

  Shotgun Shells: 10

Hondo has no time to prepare for another shotgun blast as the zombie rushes towards him.

Press “A” and “B” to sidestep… Well done!

He’s able to sidestep and avoid being grabbed. He sees an opportunity to punch the zombie, but he can’t risk punching it in the face as he might hit its teeth and catch the virus himself. Instead he performs a hard right uppercut despite being in pain punching the zombie’s neck.

The zombie begins to bleed out of its neck and he lands another left hook beheading the undead. After the neck pops out, he kicks the body down to the floor.

“That’s right punk no one messes with Hondo De La Hoya. Boy that just sounded so cheesy.” He says as he catches himself making a reference to a popular boxer.

His right arm begins to bother him more after he used it to punch the zombie. Spotting a dead medical staff personal on the floor, he searches for anything to cover his wound. He finds a piece of cloth that he takes and wraps it around his wound.

“It might not be the best thing, but it’s better than bleeding to death. I just better hope that I didn’t catch anything with these bites.” He says as he wraps the cloth around his wound with some medical tape.

“This leather jacket might not last me too long, better find some armor or something to protect myself better.” He says realizing his jacket it being torn to pieces.

As he finally catches his breath, he heads towards the shaft and sees hands from a huge horde of zombie pop through the small holes trying to grab him. The only thing saving him is the shaft itself. He decides he needs to get out of the area as the volume of zombies might just be enough to take the shaft down.

Walking back in, he spots another hallway and a motorcycle by the receptionist desk. Looking at the motorcycle, he sees that it’s a Fire Red with stripes of white and yellow. Hondo can tell that it is a civilian motorcycle and not a police issue vehicle.

“Hmm… that means there is a survivor indeed in this building, but who?” Hondo asks.

Before anything else, he tries to remember Dawn’s motorcycle. She also has a red motorcycle and is an avid rider. He begins to think that the reason why Dawn doesn’t pick up is because she is in the station looking for him.

He quickly tries to call her with the little signal he’s able to get on his phone. The phone still goes straight to voicemail and he doesn’t bother to leave another message.

Looking at the motorcycle again, he remembers that Dawn’s doesn’t have a yellow stripe. In one sense, he’s relieved that she isn’t putting her life in danger. In another though, he is worried as he might be on his own unless he can find another survivor.

Continuing down the second hallway, he sees a couple of zombies eating a dead officer. He shoots them easily with his pistol. Heading to the dead body, he sees a couple of clips next to the dead officer.

  Pistol Ammo: 12

Picked up two Pistol Clips. Pistol Ammo: 42

He sees a door to his right and decides to open the door cautiously as he doesn’t know what is on the other side. When he enters, he finds himself in the detective’s area and a few undercover cops who have turned into zombies are after him.

  Pistol Ammo: 33

He shoots the two undercover zombie cops easily with his pistol. The detective’s room has many tables where the different detectives work. Papers are thrown around, tables are splashed with blood, and no survivors are around. The room has a bluish look to it due to the full moon shining through the dark room. He tries to turn on the light, but the lights don’t turn on.

Looking around the detective’s room, he doesn’t see anything that is useful. However, when he gets to the back he sees a document on the table that he reads.

Powering the radio station – Emergency Situation

“In case of a power outage and the radio cannot be powered, there is an emergency generator that can be activated. There are three steps that need to be followed.

  1. Power the elevator. This might not be necessary, but if the elevator is down this should be restored ASAP. There is a fuse that should be in the electrical room in the basement, it should be there. If not, replace with a new one. The elevator is the fastest way to the roof where the generator is located.

  2. Get diesel to power the generator. There should be some diesel in the storage room in the basement. The door to the storage room might be locked with a security feature only the maintenance man will have access to.

  3. Pour diesel into the generator and override the circuitry in the generator. This might be a bit technical though, so consult with the generator manual that should be by the generator itself.

Once the generator is up, the radio should be online and ready to use. Be sure to use the radio and contact who you need to contact right away. The generator can only hold up to 3 hours of diesel and we only have enough for two sessions.”

Once Hondo reads the manual, he begins to see that getting to the basement will prove to be paramount to getting much needed help. Before he leaves he sees a spare pistol clip close to the receptionist window.

Picked up a Pistol Clip. Pistol Ammo: 48

Leaving the room, he is grabbed by a zombie that is on the floor on his legs. Pulling his right foot from the zombie’s grasp, he uses his left foot to stomp on the zombie’s head bashing it. The amount of blood that comes out of the zombie’s bashed head is enough to give Hondo a nasty sensation in his stomach. He leaves the room quickly and is able to prevent himself from vomiting.

When he gets to the hallway, he continues down the hall until another flesher pops from a ceiling vent. He shoots the flesher right away with his shotgun and the creature goes down. While he’s pumping his Remington shotgun, the flesher prepares to jump. With no time to prepare, he tries to duck.

  Press “A” and “B” to duck… Great!

He gets on the floor and slides under the flesher’s attack. The blade barely misses his head. With the flesher’s back turned, he shoots his shotgun while sliding and kills the creature. Blowing on his shotgun like a badass he says, “I’m still a badass like my boxing days.”

After his arrogant taunt, he sees double doors ahead that lead him to the courtyard. Making his way to the courtyard, he hears a woman’s voice…

  Chapter 5

“Help! Someone Help!” The woman screams.

Heading deeper into the courtyard, he sees a burning police van and hears the voice again. Seeing a possible survivor, he risks his life and gets close to the van. Taking a peek at her, he tries to grab her.

“Listen! I need you to grab my hand. Come on you can trust me!” He screams.

  “Ok!” She replies.

After a little effort, he manages to pull her out of the fire. Once he pulls her out, she runs back inside the building right away.

“Hey are you ok? Where are you going and why are you running from me?” He screams at her.

From the small bit he’s able to see of her, she looks like she’s a scientist. He’s unable to tell if she’s an employee of Hybrid. Perhaps she is just running scared. He goes inside to look for her, but when he gets inside no trace of her can be found.
