“You said it hun. I’ll be on the helipad soon enough.” She says relieved that the main threat is over.
Dawn gets out of the lower levels and gets into the elevator. Only one thing bugs her, where is Chief Mustang? The question does bother her. In fact, she believes that there is still one more thing that needs to happen.
When she gets outside, she is grabbed by an unknown person...
Chapter 8
Hondo rides the tram and heads back to the dam. When he gets back, he exits the tram hoping everything is ok. Then he gets a call from George on his bluetooth…
“Hey Hondo, good news. Dawn managed to stop the poisoned water from entering the reservoir and the water supply for NYC is safe.” George explains.
“That is awesome to hear, I knew she could do it.” Hondo reacts happily.
“However, I tried calling her to tell her to wait for you as you were almost there and all of a sudden I lost her bluetooth signal.” George says.
“Now that you mention it, I lost her signal as well. I fear that Chief Mustang might have got to her.” Hondo believes Dawn was captured by Mustang.
“So you better get to the dam now.” George replies.
Hondo runs to the dam and doesn’t see Dawn around.
“Dawn! Where are you?” He screams her name.
Despite screaming her name, he gets no response. That is until he sees a couple of people on the helipad standing around. He runs towards the helipad as Dawn might be in trouble. When he gets to the helipad, he spots Dawn being held by her neck by Chief Mustang who is holding a syringe filled with blue liquid. Hondo can only assume that liquid is the Raven Hawk virus. The rain picks up and the thunderstorm gets worse.
“Well… well, if it isn’t Hondo. I gotta admit that a couple of small-time investigators have really been a thorn on my side. I’m impressed that you managed to foil my plans with Hybrid, but the road for you ends here!” Mustang says evilly.
“Hondo, please forget about me. Shoot Mustang if you have to!” Dawn tells Hondo to worry about himself.
“No! We’re getting out of here together Dawn!” Hondo screams.
“Aww… that’s cute your boyfriend wants to save you! Hehe!” Mustang taunts Hondo.
“Put the needle down and put your hands up! There’s nowhere for you to go, backup is coming in a few and you will be surrounded soon.”
“Oh please Hondo like I’m actually gonna do that while I could just turn Dawn into one of those cute monsters running around.”
“You’re a coward Mustang and the worse kind, a greedy one! Put that needle down and fight me like a man!” Hondo screams.
Dawn begins to break out slowly and elbows Mustang to get out of the hold. Mustang begins to chase her with the needle and Hondo has no choice but to shoot him.
“It seems you joined the wrong team. You left me with no choice…” He says to Mustang.
He goes to check on Dawn to make sure she’s ok and she gets up just fine unharmed.
“You’re ok?” Hondo asks.
“Yup, I’m just ready to get out of here.” She answers.
“I don’t think so!” Mustang screams with a sinister laugh.
When the two look around they see that he has injected himself with the virus in his chest. Once the virus is in his system, Mustang throws the syringe towards them. Dawn picks it up and sees that it’s labeled “Broken Arrow” and she drops it in shock.
“Oh crap… He just injected himself with the ‘Broken Arrow’ virus. It’s supposed to be a more powerful version of the Raven Hawk virus!” Dawn says still in shock.
“I read about the virus in the laboratory and… forget about talking that bastard is transforming!” Hondo screams watching Mustang begin to transform.
Mustang begins to transform under the influence of the Broken Arrow virus. A few seconds pass and he begins to grow huge tentacles on his left hand. On his right hand he begins to grow a huge scythe like claw. His head becomes consumed by the virus as the core of his body swallows the head up. Mustang’s head becomes replaced with one of an alligator. The final transformation results in an alligator like creature with many mutations.
Final Boss: Alligator King
Mustang has transformed into one of the secret weapons that was researched by Hybrid, code named the Alligator King.
“Crap, got any smart ideas Dawn?” Hondo asks pulling out his heavy machine gun.
“Other than not dying… no…” She says nervously.
The two begin to shoot at the creature hoping to find a weak spot, but no such luck at the alligator king swipes them both with its tentacles. They fall to the ground and try to get up despite the heavy rain falling making the floor rather wet.
The alligator jumps and towards Dawn trying to thrust its claw into her.
Press “A” and “B” to dodge… Good.
She’s able to roll out of the way and begins to run from the king trying to get some distance. Hondo continues to shoot at the king, but with no effect whatsoever. He runs behind the creature as he looks for a weak spot, but before he could see anything, Mustang turns around and sprays a gush of battery acid.
Condition: Low PH Level! This is a special condition if you have a PH level lower than 1 due to an extreme amount of acid. You will lose one condition point every 2 minutes.
“God damn it! This shit is pure battery acid, it’s burning through my skin! I better find something to stop it.” Hondo screams in pain.
“Jump in the water, the pureness of it should stop it and the fact the water is cold should help even more. However, you have to stay there for a couple of minutes depending on the acidity of the liquid for it to cure faster.” She answers him.
“Wouldn’t the rain clean it out?” He asks while running from the continuing acid attack by the alligator’s mouth.
“No, the PH level of the rain... is not pure enough due… to the polluted air… It has to be pure water!” She answers while barely dodging another claw attack.
Hondo jumps into the cold water quickly despite how cold it might be, he knows the acid is going to break into his skin and eventually his bones. That leaves Dawn to fight the creature herself for a couple of minutes. She is unable to do much to attack the creature as she is dodging attacks most of the time.
She realizes that as long as she’s running, the creature won’t have an opportunity to attack her.
“Maybe if I keep this guy at bay for a few… George can come and get us, but on the other hand I can’t let Mustang stay alive and he’ll probably destroy the chopper anyway.” She thinks of continuing to run, but realizes that the monster has to be killed.
That is when she sees the lights on the helipads giving off a strange color and also the creature maintaining its power with the light. She also sees small platforms that she can get on in order to shut the lights off. However, she has to find a way to get the creature to slow down first.
Hondo climbs the water from the water as he feels the effects of the acid going away.
Condition: Caution (Level 2)
He gets back on the platform and the alligator king grabs him with one of its tentacles pulling it to its mouth ready to devour him. Dawn pulls out her magnum and sees a red spot on the back of the creature. She shoots her favorite weapon and within three shots, the creature goes down on the floor.
“You got him!” Hondo yells in happiness.
“Not yet. I see where this guy is getting his power from. I’ll go up to the lights and shut them off.”
“How are you gonna do that?”
“Easy, just watch…” She says winking her eye as she uses her hookshot to get to the first light and shuts it off.
One light is off, but before she can hook her way to the other platform. The alligator king gets up and knocks her down from the platform to the water below. Hondo runs around trying to get to the back, but he slips on the wet floor. The alligator king whips him using its tail and he falls back to the ground hard.
Condition: Danger
Hondo uses a First Aid Spray.
Condition: Fine
Seeing that his health is low, he heals himself back to health. Getting up, he sees the kind ready to use its claw to slash his legs.
Press “A” and “B” to jump… Good!
He jumps over the attack with the blade barely missing his legs. When he lands, he continues to distract the creature until Dawn makes her way back to the helipad. Once she gets back up, she gets shoots it with her magnum causing the creature to turn its attention to her.
Once Hondo sees the creature’s back, he spots the red spot and begins to unload using his machine gun until it goes down on the floor again. Dawn wastes no time and hooks her way up to the next light that she turns off. After turning off the light, the alligator king begins to get up and kicks the tower where Dawn is standing causing her to go into the water.
Falling into the water, she ends up deeper in the water and tries to get back up above water as fast as she can. However, the increasing current due to the storm is making it hard for her to swim.
Meanwhile, Hondo sees the alligator get up and he tries to run towards it in order to slide under it to get behind the creature. However, the creature uses its tail to pin Hondo on the floor. Turning around, the creature grabs him with its tentacles and slams him to the floor.
Condition: Caution (Level 2)
The attack causes major damage to Hondo and he struggles to get up. The alligator king beings to gargle and spit battery acid at him. Using the last bit of energy, he is able to get out of the way of the majority of the acid. The wet floor causes him to slip and the creature is able to get him with the last bit of battery acid hitting him.
Condition: Low PH Level
The acid begins to spread on his body rather quickly and the mutated Mustang begins to laugh evilly as it prepares to butcher Hondo.
Dawn is able to fight through the current and gets back above water. Climbing the ladder, she sees Hondo is down and in bad shape.
“Hondo no!” She screams.
Despite her partner being down in bad shape, she sees the back of the creature and shoots it with her final two shots in her Desert Eagle. The alligator goes down to her relief and she hooks her way to the final light to shut it off. Once the light is off, Dawn begins to see that the rain is actually weakening the creature unlike before. As she figured out, the light was keeping the PH level acid low enough to keep the creature alive and protected from the effects of mother nature.
Hondo gets up and shoots the creature with the machine gun with no remorse before it goes down beginning to melt away as it’s losing its acid properties.
“Dawn!” He yells while he throws the magnum clip he found in the waterworks and continues says, “Finish him and let him have it!”
Hondo jumps into the water to avoid the acid from breaking into the rest of his body. While he’s in the water, Dawn sees the creature on the floor kneeling down. She loads the new clip for her magnum with a sinister smile ready to finally defeat Chief Mustang. She shoots two rounds at the creature and it goes down. The acid that was in the body also begins to gush out.
“You wanted Dawn! I’ll give you Dawn and she’s about to give to you where the sun doesn’t shine!” She says ready to take her frustration out.
She shoots two bullets into the head of the zombie as the thunder and lighting become more intense. However, she doesn’t stop there, she shoots the rest of her rounds into the head. Despite that though, she’s still not satisfied. Taking her last magnum clip and loading it to her gun, the lighting can be seen and the thunderstorm cell is so intense that the sky behind her turns white. The rain falls on her hair and she takes off her glasses.
Her glasses only come off when she is really pissed and this is an anger that hasn’t been seen in years for Dawn. Cocking her pistol, she shoots nonstop until she runs out of bullets and the acid in the body of mustang becomes a pool under him. She moves her hair as she looks at the former police chief non-stop for five minutes.
“You… You sold your soul to the devil and you paid the ultimate price for it. I hope you enjoy hell because I know damn well that is where you’re going!” Dawn says her final words.
Upon saying her final words the rain lightens up significantly and the sun begins to peek out from the dark green storm clouds. Hondo climbs the ladder and collapses on the floor from tiredness.
“Hondo… poor man. We’ve been through alot I know, but I think for now we’ve had won.” Dawn feels confident as she sees the sun and the chemicals staying where they are.
After a few minutes pass, the storm clouds pass completely and she sees a helicopter arrive. When the chopper arrives, it lands on the helipad. Elza, Anne, and George wait for them to get inside.
Dawn picks up Hondo and they enter the helicopter. Once everyone is inside, George takes off into the sunny skies. For now, NYC has been spared of the worst…
Congratulations! You have survived the nightmare known as Angel’s Nightmare Adventure 1.5. You displayed the cunning needed to survive and you managed to save the lives of over 8 million people. However, much more will have to be done to expose Hybrid. For now, you can rest in victory and craft your next plan of attack against the tyranny of the Hybrid Corporation.

Epilogue
As Dawn and Hondo finally get comfortable in the chopper, Dawn looks into the sun as Hondo rests on her shoulders. Believe it or not, not much is said between them.
Anne and Elza continue to talk amongst themselves as Anne finally realizes that she will never be able to head home. Elza thinks about telling her about her father, but figures that she will keep her promise of telling Anne when she is older. Elza will try to figure out how to get back to college life and to her normal routine. The more she thinks though, the more she realizes that she now has a target on her back and she will be hunted by Hybrid as she knows too much.
Elza asks Dawn something, “Hey Dawn, do you think I’ll be able to get back to my normal life?”
Dawn asks her to come towards her as she doesn’t want Anne to be spooked and answers her, “What Hybrid and Mustang try to do was so sinister that I continue to think the antichrist is still here on Earth in the form of the Hybrid Corporation. Unless we take them out, there will be more people who will end up like Chief Mustang, a mutated shell of their former self.”
“So I’ll have to watch my back?” Elza asks.
“Yup, until Hybrid is no more I’m afraid. I’m sure they will be after us, which is why we have to go away… far away until we can come up with a plan.” Dawn answers.
“No… I want to see if Angel, my pupil is ok.” Hondo says.
“I suggest you don’t as hard as it might be…” Dawn says as Hondo begins to tear up.
Dawn hugs Hondo and tries to comfort him knowing that their lives have changed forever in the matter of just a day.
“Where are we going?” Elza asks George.
“Like Dawn said, far… far away for now. We need to come up with a plan to take Hybrid out from a safe area. I must confess that I will drop you guys off and head back to NYC myself. Don’t worry about me, I’m doing it because I need to give you guys the most up to date information on what I find at Hybrid. If Hybrid catches anybody, it should be me. After all, I’m in my 50’s and you guys have much more to live for than I do…” George reveals a revelation.
As the chopper goes into the bright sun, a huge dark cloud remains over the survivors head knowing that this is far from over. The dark cloud of Hybrid still has its grips on the state of New York.

A news report can be seen on a TV at a local diner in an unknown part of New York.
“In the news today, the boil water advisory has been lifted after a group of unknown heroes managed to go to the Rockland County Dam and prevent the water supply from being poisoned.
Hybrid has acknowledged this as an accident as a truck carrying raw material for their new vaccine, Broken Arrow topped over and the chemicals fell into the water supply. As much as people are seeing that explanation as ‘suspicious’, there is no video evidence to back up the conspiracy theories. So for now, this is being treated as an accident.
Workers have arrived at the Rockland City dam and have begun to clean up the dangerous chemicals from the water. Officials have told us that the water should be running and safe to drink within the next 8-12 hours.
Meanwhile in White Plains, New York, surviving officers are trying to clean up debris and dead bodies after the city was hit by a zombie outbreak similar to that in Brooklyn, New York. Once again this has been deemed accidental and Hybrid troops have been called in to quarantine the area just like they did in East New York as they are constructing a wall to keep the zombies out.
This is the latest from Action News 4!”
“That is some real bullshit! Hybrid is gonna pay for their sins!” An unknown male voice says.

Characters/Creatures
Playable Characters:
Hondo - Hondo is one of the playable characters in the story. He is from Puerto Rico. Growing up in the country, he would grow up to me a rather good mid-list boxer before he had to retire due to a bad back. He is single with a daughter that lives in NYC with her mother. Hondo tends to be rather arrogant and isn’t easily intimidated. He is a good boxer, the only thing is that his defense is not the best and his agility is not the best. He has average accuracy and is rather caring for others despite his background. He is a tank and can take much damage. He is a private investigator who works with a group of others. When it comes to the zombie outbreak 2 years ago, he truly believes that Hybrid was behind the destruction during the events of the first outbreak. He’s around 37. Special Ability - He deals a powerful left hook and can punch the undead to conserve ammo.
