  Finding nothing else in the room, she leaves and decides to take a right instead looking for the elevator. She heads to the waiting room to see the chief and sees several crows breaking through the window. Not taking any chances, she runs towards the elevator as fast as she can until she gets to the elevator.

  When she calls the elevator though, she sees that it’s not powered. The crows come after her as she turns around. She’s forced to shoot at them, but as soon as she shoots a couple of them dead the others fly away back outside.

  Pistol Ammo: 40

  With the elevator offline, she’s forced to go back to the stairway and take the stairs. When she enters the third floor stairway, she finds a health item that she bypassed at first.

  Picked up a Blue Herbal Mix.

  Elza mixes the Green and Blue Herbal Mix.

  After mixing the herbs, she heads back down the stairs carefully being sure there are no surprises. Seeing the stairway is all clear, she continues down the stairs until she gets to the basement. Once she gets to the holding cells, she heads to the locked door she was unable to open before. After gaining some experience in unlocking doors, she has a much easier time and unlocks it.

  When she unlocks the door, she sees a single pickup inside.

  Picked up a Large Knife. This upgrades your survival knife to inflict more damage and has a longer reach.

  After upgrading her knife, she puts it away and heads to the storage room to open it. However, before she can open it, a new creature drops to the hallway and has the form of a raccoon.

  This creature is the striker and is fast along with dangerous. Taking for of a bigger raccoon, it packs more than rabies as it’s infected with the Raven Hawk Virus. One bite from this creature will poison a person instantly. The striker is twice the size of a normal raccoon.

  The raccoon rushes towards her and tries to bite her.

  Press “A” and “B” to dodge… Good!

  She gets out of the way from the striker’s attack and then she tries to capitalize by shooting it with her bow gun. The raccoon proves to be too fast though as it sidesteps quickly to the right with the arrows missing it.

  Arrows: 51

  After missing, the raccoon goes after her again and this time manages to bite her on the injured left hand poisoning her.

  Condition: Poison

  When she gets bit she’s able to get the raccoon off her and shoots it again. This time she manages to hit it and deal some damage. It also slows down the creature. Shooting it again the raccoon hits the floor. Despite 6 arrows, the striker isn’t dead yet. Using the large knife she just obtained, she thrusts it into the raccoon until it bleeds and dies.

  The blood that comes out is the same purplish blood that comes out of the other creatures she has killed already. Elza has a new problem, she is poisoned, and she can’t quite remember if she needs water to use the blue herbal mix to heal herself.

  Blue Herbal Mix - Cures Poison condition, requires water to be drank in order to be used.

  After thinking about it a little, she remembers that she need water in order for the blue herb to be drank and used properly. The only source of water that she knows of that is close to her is the vending machine that sells flat sodas and water. However, she doesn’t have much of a choice and as bad as the sodas might taste, she has to heal.

  Running up the stairs, she nearly falls on the floor after her legs become numb with the effects of the poison. She gets up rather quickly and heads into the hallway leading to the human resources department. Limping to the vending machine, she finally gets there and tries to use her dollar to get water.

  However, there is no water in the machine and the only thing that is available is probably the most flat cola pop she’ll have to drink in her life. Putting the dollar in, she selects the soda that she hates and waits for it to be dispensed.

  “This is gonna be so nasty and I can bet my life that soda has been there for months already. However, it’s either that or I’ll die of rabies.” She says loathing the idea of drinking the really flat soda.

  Taking the herbs, she puts the powder mixture in her mouth and begins to drink the horribly flat soda in despair. Despite the horrible taste of the soda, she drinks most of it and other than the really bad aftertaste her stomach begins to feel better.

  Elza uses the Green/Blue Herbal Mixture.

  Condition: Caution (Level 1)

  Her legs begin to circulate blood properly again and she gets up just fine. However, the really bad aftertaste catches up to her and she ends up vomiting violently. After throwing her guts out, she gets up and vows to never drink a soda from a vending machine again. What she doesn’t know, is that the soda has been sitting in the machine for close to 4 months without being removed from sale.

  “Holy shit, Mustang was a cheap bastard even to his own crew. What person doesn’t change the soda in his machines? Boy it’ll be a long time before I drink another soda from one of these machines again!” She says in disgust.

  After the disgusting drink, she heads back down to the basement and heads for the storage room where she prepares to light the furnace.

  Elza USES the Book of Matched to light the furnace.

  After lighting the furnace, she opens the door leading to the storage room. Once she enters, she spots what she needs.

  Picked up the C4 Explosive. I can use this to blow the debris and break Roy out.

  With the C4 in her possession, she wastes no time and heads back to the garage to break Roy out.

  “Roy, are you there?” She asks.

  “Yeah I’m here, I couldn’t find a back way out. I hope you come to break me out of here.” He answers.

  “I got the C4 in my hand, stand back while I blow up the debris.”

  Elza USES the C4 Explosive on the debris.

  Once she sets the C4, she sets it to detonate and after five seconds, it blows up. Once the dust clears, a path is opened for Roy to get out.

  “Whew, thanks for that Elza.”

  “No problem Roy, how about we try to see if we can find the key to the gate and see if we can get to the sewers.”

  “Alright!” She says happily.

  After she gets Roy out, she hears a loud monstrous noise coming from upstairs.

  “What was that?” She asks concerned.

  “I have no idea but staying her is not a good idea! Let’s get out of here before we find out.” He replies scared.

  The two of them rush out of the garage not wanting to take a chance of finding out what the source of the screaming is. Elza feels better that she is back with Roy, but concerned as they still have no way out of the hell hole that might have been created by the greed of the police chief.

  Chapter 5

  Once the two get to the garage repair area, they make their way to the holding cells when Roy stops her.

  “What is it?”

  “Hey I found this along the way, it’s a wrench. We’ll need this to open the shaft by the radio room. We should go there and see if we can get any backup to our location.”

  “It’s worth a shot… hey what’s that sound?” She says when she hears a generator like sound.”

  “Looks like the generator has been turned on, but how? Anyway that should ensure that the radio works and we can get in contact with someone.”

  “Alright, I’m feeling better already. Let’s go.” Elza says encouraged.

  The two head up to the first floor using the stairway. When they get upstairs, they see zombies have gotten deeper into the hallway for some reason. Between the two of them, they kill the three that are in front of them.

  Pistol Ammo: 34

  When the zombies are killed, the two them head to the lobby and realize that the shutter has been broken down. With the shutter broken down, all of zombies from outside have entered the police station. The lobby becomes filled with the undead and they begin to shoot the zombies in their way.

  Pistol Ammo: 20

  One of the zombies get rather close to Roy and wanting to conserve ammo, Elza uses her large knife to stab the zombie in the head. The knife goes right through the zombie’s brain and the head of the zombie opens up clear as a bell. The blood from the dead zombie splatters onto Elza’s suit and Roy’s uniform. However, both of them could care less as survival is the name of the game at this point.

  When the two of them finally get the lobby cleared, they head towards the hallway leading to the radio room. As they go through the hallway, more zombies aggressively head towards them. These zombies are faster than the normal and their faces are crimson.

  “Move back!” Roy screams.

  The two run back from the zombies that run after them. Elza pulls out her bow gun as she refuses to take any chances. The zombies continue to chase the two and one of them grabs Roy as it begins to try to bite him Elza carefully aims her bow gun to the zombie attacking Roy. With her careful aim, she’s able to shoot the zombie and Roy is able to escape the grasps. When he escapes, he and Elza take care of the crimson faced zombies or at least most of them. A couple of them rush towards Elza.

  Press “A” and “B” to dodge… Well Done!

  Elza sidesteps out of the way and uses the knife to slash the head from one of the zombies while Roy shoots the other dead.

  Arrows: 33

  “What the hell! These zombies are moving faster than the others, what the hell is this place?” Roy screams and asks.

  “It looks like the zombies have taken over the police station. We better watch out backs more than ever. They’re everywhere!” She replies.

  “Let’s just get to the radio room where we should be safe.” He comes up with a plan.

  They head towards the shaft that blocks the entrance to the radio room. Seeing the nut that controls the shaft, Roy uses a wrench that he found to open the shaft. After a few turns the shutter opens and a couple of crimson face zombies attack the duo. One of the zombies grabs Elza and begins to bite her.

  Condition: Caution (Level 2)

  She pushes the zombie away from her and grabs her knife. Roy deals with the other crimson face zombie. The zombie that is attacking Elza attempts to slash her and she ducks under the slash. Using her knife she thrusts the knife inside the zombie’s heart.

  Roy has a hard time trying to hold back the zombie that is attacking him. Elza goes to the zombie and kills the zombie by slashing its neck. Once she kills the other zombie, she decides not to chance it and heals herself despite using her Super First Aid Spray.

  Elza uses Super First Aid Spray.

  Condition: Fine

  After healing herself, her and Roy head into the radio room. Once they get inside the room, they head for the radio. He walks towards it and turns it on.

  “Hey this is Roy, if anyone is there please respond. I need some backup now!” He says into the radio but gets no response.

  “What’s wrong?”

  “Seems like no one is on the other line, let me try again.” He tries again on the radio.

  “Hey is anyone there? Hey… Hey!” He gets no response and says, “Damn…”

  “That doesn’t sound good.”

  “No Elza, it isn’t good. That means no one is in central station, which suggests that the zombies have taken over the central station. It looks like we’re on our own here.” He gives her the bad news.

  The two hear some hissing inside the room and it sounds like a flesher that is hiding in the room.

  “What is that?” He asks.

  “Sounds like one of those pink creatures sneaked into the room.” She answers.

  After they finished talking, a flesher comes down on them and stares down the two. Elza prepares her bow gun, but she drops it as she becomes nervous after hearing the flesher screaming loudly. The flesher jumps towards Elza ready to behead her with its claw.

  “No!” Roy screams as he jumps in front of the flesher and takes the full impact of the attack.

  With Roy going down, she’s able to recover her bow gun and use it in order to take out the flesher.

  Arrows: 27

  “Roy!” She screams looking at him bleeding.

  “Listen, it… looks like you’ll have… to go it… alone… I’m sorry that I couldn’t help… you.” He says weakly.

  “No Roy, you saved my life. There’s a medical room ahead and I can save you, just hang on.” She says as she wants to save him.

  “No… I’m losing too much… blood… it looks like it’s… all over… for me.” He says barely able to speak.

  “Don’t think like that, you’ll gonna make it. Just have faith.”

  “Just worry… about yourself… you still have hope. It’s all… over for me… Before I go though… I want to say… I always had feelings for you Elza… I was going to ask… you out after… all this was over… goodbye…” He admits his feelings before he passes away.

  “Roy, no! Why did you have to go? Hybrid has gone too far indeed.” She cries for Roy and becomes angry as she knows that Hybrid has a hand in all this.

  After Roy dies, she looks around the room and finds a pickup.

  Picked up 2 Pistol Clips. Pistol Ammo: 50

  She also finds a note on the table as well.

  “If you need the key leading to the gate that opens the repair garage, you’re out of luck. The key is lost, so we have to make a new key. For now, we ask that the gate remain open for now until a new lock is installed. This should not take too long, we apologize any inconvenience.”

  Realizing that she won’t find the key anywhere, she’ll have to pick the lock to the best of her ability. Before she leaves though, she finds a locked desk that she picks the lock easily.

  Lockpicking Level Increased to Level 5

  Picked up a Red Herbal Mix.

  Finding nothing else in the room, he leaves the radio room and heads towards the basement. She runs through the lobby avoiding the zombies that are still entering through into the lobby. When she opens the door to the stairway, she is ambushed by a crimson face zombie who slashes her causing slight damage.

  The zombie tries to grab her, but she sidesteps and the zombie hits the railing. She pushes it off the railing and it falls to the floor hitting a broomstick as it falls. The broomstick goes through the mouth of the zombies causing it to bleed and die.

  When she gets to the basement, she enters the garage repair area and spots a young girl still in her school uniform coming out of the vent.

  “Hey! Little girl, I’m here to save you!” She calls the young girl, but the girl goes into the manhole heading to the sewer.

  “I got to find that little girl, she might be in danger!” She says worried about the girl.

  Seeing the gate in front of her, she goes to pick the lock on the gate. Despite struggling at first, she finally gets the gate to open. Heading to the manhole, she climbs down the ladder and enters the White Plains sewer system.

  Who is the little girl and what will Elza find in the sewers? With Roy dying, she has to be careful as she won’t have assistance from anyone from this point forward.

  Chapter 6

  Elza is in the sewer system of White Plains and she begins to search for the little girl. When she turns the corner, she sees a couple of hatch doors that she tries to enter. However, as she tries to turn the handle the first one is locked as it requires a keycard to open. The second one that is further ahead is locked from the other side as she can tell trying to push the door open.

  Looking next to the first door, she sees a hole to the left of the door. The hole is rather small. In fact, the hole is only big enough for a very small person to enter through. Elza tries to peek inside of the hole to see if she can see anything, but it’s too dark to see through.

  “It’s too small for me to enter, I better find another way.” She says.

  Before she can think though, a huge hairy spider comes jumping down into the water and attempts to spit poison at her.

  Press “A” and “B” to dodge… Well Done!

  She’s able to dodge knowing that she doesn’t have any healing items for poison. Once she gets up, she shoots the spider one time with the arrows. However, the spider refuses to die and it rams into the wall. The force of the ram forces Elza to fall into the water and she sees the sheer terror of the spider up close.

  She gets up and once she does, she is knocked down to the ground by one of the spider’s legs.

  Condition: Caution (Level 1)

  After getting taken down, she shoots right into the spider’s face with her bow gun from the floor killing it.

  Arrows: 21

  Getting up after killing the spider, she sees a dead body rush in from above as the water continues to flow. Despite being shocked by the dead body, she decides to check it once it gets next to her. It looks like a sewer worker who was eaten alive by the zombies.

  Elza looks in the pockets of the sewer worker and at first can’t find anything useful. When she gets to the back pockets though, her hands bump into something.

  Picked up a Keycard.

  Elza CHECKS the Keycard. Looking at it, she sees that it says “East Sewer Access”

  Using the keycard, she unlocks the hatch that leads to the eastern part of the sewers. Entering the hallway, she can see what seems to be a little girl. Once again though, the girl gets away from Elza heading to the right part of the T-Hall. Elza follows where the girl went but the elevator that was there is no longer there as it’s now at the top floor.

  Turning around she sees another elevator towards the west side of the hallway and decides to head there instead. When she goes up the elevator, she ends up in a small control room. When she finds herself in the control room, she finds a pickup on the table.

  Picked up a Green Herbal Mix.

  After grabbing the herbal mix, Elza sees a document on the table.

  Manager’s Note to Staff

  “I call your attention because we were recently given a visit by some staff from the Hybrid Corporation. They said they plan to take control of these sewers. You might say, what? However, hear me out for a moment.
