She is strong, but the gorilla begins to overpower her and tackles her to the ground. The gorilla overpowers her and begins to lick her ready to bite her neck off. That is until the gorilla is shot from behind by Mr. Skander who still has a little left in him.
“You shall not defeat... me that... easily!” Anne’s father says before he falls on the floor face first bleeding a pool of blood that stands under his dead body.
Elza sees the gorilla that was attacking her is now dead and she sees Mr. Skander who is now dead for good this time. The only other thing that she never found out about Anne’s father was his first name, but she can care less about that now.
Before she can get out of the room though, she is stopped by debris hitting the floor from the ceiling. A huge creature comes down from the ceiling, it’s a guerilla, but there is something different about this one. The color is unlike the others. The normal gorillas are grey in nature while this one is pure black.
Boss: King Guerilla
When it turns around, Elza realizes that this is the king of the Guerilla species created by Hybrid. The gorilla beats its chest and begins to walk towards her. The steps alone are enough to shake the ground violently and even cause Elza to fall to the floor. Getting up quickly, she sees the king-sized gorilla ready to punch her down to the floor.
She’s able to get out of the way and begins to run behind one of the cars where she loads in the acid rounds. Once she loads the acid rounds in, she doesn’t have much time to gather herself as the gorilla picks up the car with one hand. Once she sees the car in the hand of the gorilla, she runs from the beast.
The beast grabs the car like it was a toy car and decides to throw it at Elza.
Press “A” and “B” to dive… Well Done!
Elza is able to dive out of the way as the car hits the medical room. When the car hits the medical room the wall collapses and the room becomes inaccessible. What Elza doesn’t see is the debris crushing the dead body of Anne’s father. The king gorilla walks towards her and punches the ground to cause a mini earthquake.
The impact of the earthquake causes Elza to lose her footing and the gorilla walks towards her. The king gorilla grabs her and throws her toward a plastic recycling bin. The impact is enough to knock her out, but the surface is soft enough that she survives the attack.
Condition: Caution (Level 2)
She has a tough time getting up despite the surface being plastic. The gorilla grabs her again and uses its hand to begin crushing her. Luckily for Elza, she has her knife on the ready and pulls it out. She uses it to stab the gorilla in the hand. While the attack doesn’t nothing to weaken the gorilla overall, it is enough to cause the gorilla to drop Elza on the ground. She takes a hard fall, but nothing that causes any bones to break.
“Crap this bastard has me on the ropes and I haven’t even landed an attack. How am I though, this thing is huge.” Elza says as the boss battle plays on and she finds herself in a near impossible situation.
Getting away from the gorilla just a bit, she sees it waving its right hand in pain. The pain is nowhere close to weakening it, but it’s enough to allow Elza time to come up with some kind of attack. She shoots an acid round at the gorilla’s face, however the gorilla is not amused, and the acid has no effect on the creature’s face. In fact, the gorilla laughs at her as it prepares to go after her again.
This time the gorilla gets on its hands and bull rushes towards her in an attempt to tackle her. She tries to run back, but soon learns that it’s not the best strategy to get away from it. The gorilla tackles her using its huge right hand and she lands on the floor hard taking a good amount of damage.
Condition: Danger
“Oh man, how do I defeat this thing or is it I’m doomed to die here? Oh man, I better find a weakness and soon!” Elza says.
She tries to shoot another acid round at the gorilla, but this time it slaps the round before it strikes. The gorilla becomes pissed and beats its chest hard as it's ready to finish Elza off.
Acid Rounds: 4
The gorilla attempts to crush her like an ant by using its palm on her. She dives the first attempt rather easily, but the gorilla tries its left hand forcing her to think quicker than she wants to. She’s able to dodge the second attack by going to her left, but then is greeted by the right hand once again. Despite her endurance and her great dexterity, fatigue kicks in and she knows that she can’t keep running forever.
She begins to lose her breath and starts to become tired as her running speed lowers. Elza eventually begins to run out of steam and becomes an easy target for the gorilla to crush.
“This is it…” She says bracing for impact.
Seeing the gorilla ready to finish her off, she tries another acid round on the gorilla this time aiming for its legs. By a miracle, the acid round hits the legs and actually has an effect on the creature. She shoots another round at the leg and it actually falls on its back.
Acid Rounds: 2
She is in shock that she survived the ordeal. When the gorilla falls down, its huge heart is exposed. Taking a chance, she runs and jumps onto the gorilla and pulls out her large knife to stab the heart of gorilla. She stabs it three times before the gorilla grabs her and throws her away from it.
As the gorilla gets up, Elza takes advantage by healing herself.
Elza USES an Ultimate Herbal Mix.
Condition: Fine
When she heals herself, her confidence goes up now that she’s found the weakness of the gorilla. So she waits for it to get up before she shoots it. She also realizes that she has to shoot the gorilla while it’s attacking, otherwise it’ll use its hands to deflect the shot.
She gets the gorilla to get close to her, but the creature decides to kick her instead like a soccer ball. Elza takes a good amount of damage and realizes that it’s not over yet. The gorilla walks towards her and prepares to crush her again, she counters by shooting her last two acid rounds on the gorilla’s legs.
Condition: Caution (Level 1)
The gorilla falls on its back again and Elza jumps on top of the gorilla. She uses her large knife to continuously stab the heart of the gorilla until it slaps her back to the floor and begins to get up. The gorilla gets up and chases Elza throughout the garage.
She remains calm and keeps running even though her legs are killing her. Eventually she is cornered and she loads her standard grenade rounds. The gorilla attempts to punch her into the wall.
Press “A” and “B” to roll out of the way… Well Done!
She rolls out of the way as the gorilla punches the wall causing it to fall apart. Elza uses her remaining energy to get behind the gorilla and shoot its legs. The standard grenades being a bit weaker takes three shots to get the creature down, but she gets it down.
Standard Grenades: 6
When the gorilla goes down hard, she swipes the sweat off her head and gathers herself to go up on the gorilla. When she’s on top of the gorilla, she pulls her knife and begins to stab the heart of the gorilla mercilessly until it dies or it slaps her off again.
“Die… Die… Die… You big bastard!” She screams as she stabs the gorilla to death until it finally dies.
Purplish/Bluish blood finally comes out of the heart and the gorilla begins to scream in extreme pain. After a few more stabs afterwards, Elza finally sees the gorilla dead to her relief.
“Finally… I finally beat it. I don’t know how I beat it, somebody must be watching me from above. However, whoever it is, thank you…” Elza gives thanks to what seems to her a divine person or God.
Seeing the blood coming out, she gets away from the dead gorilla. When she’s walking out of the room, she also notices that the smell of the blood is rather disgusting. Leaving the room, she covers her nose to avoid smelling too much. When she gets to the hallway, she is relieved to breathe in relatively clean air.
Elza makes her way up to the main hallway and when she gets there, she enters the manager’s room. Entering, she sees Anne is still waiting and Anne asks her questions about her father.
“Elza…! I’m glad you’re ok.”
“I’m glad you’re ok as well.” Elza avoids telling her about her father and wants her to ask.
“Did you find my father?” Anne asks Elza the tough question.
“I looked for him all over the place, but I did not see him I’m afraid…”
“No… so does that mean he’s dead?”
“No… he might still be alive, but unless I find him I couldn’t tell you…” Elza feels terrible for lying to Anne.
“Are you sure?”
“Yes Anne… I’m sure. I wouldn’t lie to you.”
“I know Elza, just wanted to make sure.”
Elza goes to hug Anne to comfort her and try to get her attention away from her dead father.
“However, I know you father is alive because he dropped this…” She shows Anne the password to the computer.
“Is that the password?”
“Yes and it’s gonna lead us out of here. Listen, as much as your father might still be alive, we need to get out of here. Please Anne, you need to be strong. We can’t stay here any longer, the monsters are getting worse, and I’m afraid if we stay here we’ll run into something that will kill us.” Elza tries to convince Anne.
“I don’t want to lose my father. I lost my mother…” Anne begins to cry.
“I know and I’m sorry, but if I have to I will take care of you. I promise, but you gotta work with me and follow me out of here.”
“I understand, so I can’t go back home?”
“It’s not just you. I need you to understand. I’m afraid to move somewhere else, but we just can’t stay here until the monsters are killed here.”
“I know you will protect me.” Anne goes to hug Elza.
Elza feels a bit better that Anne has an understanding of the dire situation that is taking place. However, she is still concerned of how Anne will take it when she finds out her father is dead. Despite that, she vows to keep it a secret until the time is right.
After the conversation, Elza heads to the computer and types in “WellOfSouls” when it asks for the password. The main menu pops up...

When she gets the passcode, she writes it down on a piece of paper and doesn’t bother to log out of the computer.
“Are you ready to go?” Elza asks Anne.
Anne nods her head in agreement and the two of them exit the manager’s room. The two of them head to the shutter that is blocking the back area of the bus depot. She heads to the panel and enters the passcode. Entering the numbers 87458021 the shutter opens slowly.
When the shutter opens, the two enter the huge storage area. The two spot an elevator, Elza tells Anne to stay far and to hide behind a box when she calls the elevator. Pressing the button next to the elevator, she waits for the elevator to come up and prepares for the worse in case it’s anything big. Anne awaits nervously behind the box.
The elevator takes awhile before it comes up completely, but the motor stops and the doors open. When Elza gets off the wall to take a peek, she’s relieved to see that there is nothing waiting for them inside the elevator. She is also disappointed that no one else was inside as they might have proven to be useful in helping her. She quickly gets that out of her mind as she is just thankful that there was not another creature inside.
“Anne! The coast is clear, you can come over.”
Anne runs to Elza as they prepare to enter the elevator that will lead them down to the underground laboratory. When they enter the laboratory, Elza presses the button leading down to the laboratory. The elevator begins to run down.
As the elevator runs down, Anne’s stomach begins to kill her even more.
“Ooo… my stomach is hurting even more! Elza, what could it be?” Anne is in pain.
“Oh no, the Raven Hawk Virus is spreading further in her body. I gotta find something to cure her before she turns into a zombie.” Elza realizes the Raven Hawk is spreading through Anne’s body.
“Don’t worry we’re getting close to the laboratory. I’m sure I’ll find something to cure that stomachache.”
Anne doesn’t respond as she passes out to Elza’s terror.
“Anne get up! Please get up!” She screams but gets no answer.
When the elevator gets down, she carries Anne to the security room where it looks like someone was already inside. However, she can care less as she lays Anne onto the bed. Elza kneels and hopes that Anne gets up.
After a couple of minutes, Anne does open her eyes.
“Anne, you’re ok?”
“No… my stomach is killing me even worse now.”
“We’re in the Hybrid laboratory, I’m sure they got something that can help you.”
“Listen Elza, thanks for being there for me. You remind me of a sister that I never had.”
“Aww… that’s sweet of you. I told you that I was going to take care of you. I’m happy that you trust me and that means a lot to me.”
“Elza, I wish you were my sister… You see… I grew up a lonely child… and I felt that I never had anyone… there for me. My parents didn’t really… notice me too much… because of their work. Sometimes I really hate being a lonely child, I feel no one cares for me…”
“Anne don’t say that. I care for you. Just rest up here and I’ll be back with something to heal you, ok?” Elza says as Anne falls back to sleep.
She looks around the room to see if she sees any pickups and to her luck there are.
Picked up a First Aid Spray.

Once she gets the pickups, she sees a small manual.
Power Distribution for the Laboratory
“Under normal circumstances the laboratory will normally have power in all parts. Of course, during emergency situations such as a biohazard outbreak or security breach some parts of the laboratory could have their power cut as a precaution.
During a security breach, only areas that are valuable to our experiments have their power cut off to cut access off to the attack party. This is usually easily fixable by restoring the circuit that was cut off. All you would have to do is go up to the B3 level and restore the circuit break or better yet restore all breakers once the danger has been cleared.
During an outbreak though, things get trickier as the employees are usually evacuated beforehand and then the power is cut off to the main door. The only way to cut off the power to the main door in the main area leading to the rest of the lab is to remove the fuse powering it. If done correctly, the fuse should be in the B2 floor of the power area in a storage cabinet.
When the danger is clear, the fuse is to be reinstalled on the fuse box and that should restore power to the main door.
Note: This is to be only done when the danger has been cleared and clearance by a supervisor has been given.”
After reading the manual, she uses a tester to check Anne. The results tell Elza that Anne has not been infected by the Raven Hawk yet and it’s still in its early stages. However within 20-30 minutes the Anne should be infected by the virus and she will only have 5 minutes to be healed once the infection reaches its peak.
With Anne fast asleep and little time to waste, Elza makes her way out of the security room and to the laboratory. She only hopes that the main door leading to the lab is open, otherwise that could cut into the valuable time that Anne has left to live as a human.
Chapter 10
When Elza gets out of the security room, she tries to enter through the main door of the laboratory. She steps into the sensor area where the door is supposed to open automatically, however the door has no power according to the panel next to it.
“Crap! It looks like I gotta take that elevator up to the power area and get this door powered. I got no time to waste!” Elza says as she rushes to the elevator knowing that time is not a resource she has an abundance of.
Entering the elevator, she takes it to level B1, which is the only other floor that it can go to besides the emergency exit route. She sees a keyhole for the emergency route and keeps it in mind just in case going back the way she came from is not an option.
When the elevator heads to level B1, she gets out and sees a couple of guerillas in the dark hallway that is filled with LED’s. Pulling out her bowgun, she takes on the gorillas as they come towards her aggressively. One tries to wall jump and land a punch on her, she counters by shooting it in mid-air in its heart killing it.
Arrows: 95
The other gorilla comes at her and tries to land a punch at her, but she sidesteps and shoots it with her bow gun. The arrows miss the heart, so it stays alive and it performs a drop kick that hits her pretty good.
Condition: Caution (Level 2)
The gorilla tries to perform a double-axe handle, but Elza shoots the creature with her bowgun in the heart before it could attack.
Arrows: 89
After killing the gorillas, she leaves the hallway and enters the steam room where many zombies in electrician uniforms are roaming around. Elza uses her bowgun to mop up most of the zombies are in the area. Compared to the King Guerilla that she had to meet in the bus depot, the zombies are a piece of cake for her.
A couple of zombies get past her and try to grab her. A cool and calm Elza uses her bowgun to kill the last two zombies.
Arrows: 65
Despite wasting quite a few arrows on the zombies, Elza still has plenty of arrows left to use. Taking the small elevator down to the B2 level, she ends up in another small area full of more zombies that are blocking the storage cabinet. With her bowgun, she shoots all the zombies easily and heads towards the storage cabinet.
