All Mye Queen's Men, Chronicles of Love - Volume II, page 7
Hot, sticky and icky the two lovers recovered in each others embrace. Even though Queen was completely satisfied and fulfilled her heart burned for Logic. It was at that second that she knew that no man would ever be able to fully replace him in her heart or in her bed. She silently wept and X comforted her without reservation.
X was there for Queen throughout the remainder of the night- emotionally, spiritually and of course physically. By night’s end he had confessed his love and fidelity to his Queen and she was content to call him her man, but for now she had to reserve the right to the King’s throne for another.
Chapter 7
Queen took Logic’s brutal assessment of her to heart and really took a good hard look at what and who she had been doing. Sure, she had been through an insurmountable amount of shit lately, but did that give her the right to slob every dry knob that tickled her fancy? Of course not, but still she did.
Sure she could somehow justify her insatiable appetite for Teddy because of what happened the night Paul was killed. Yet the truth remained that she had craved Teddy’s body like a crack head yearned for crack and they were inappropriately intimate long before Paul died. In fact the hard and ugly truth of the matter was that she had completely thrown her moral compass in the garbage the very second she met his cocky, sexy, charismatic ass.
But what about X? How in the hell did Queen allow him to get in balls deep with these two succulent, hunks of rich, dark chocolate banging the bottom out of her koochie every chance they got? What was her motive for even entertaining another dick in her mouth?
Understandably, this one unsolved mystery was the final straw for Logic. Logic had loved Queen forever and for her to go straight hoe on him was a deal breaker. He had let her shit go unchecked for far too long and Queen knew that he was well within his right to correct a bitch with extreme prejudice. And that is exactly what he did!
It had been over six months since Queen had seen or heard from Logic and try as hard as he could X was no substitute for Logic’s particular brand of sweet, sticky, delicious goodness. Not to say that X wasn’t sweet, delectable and sexy as hell, because he was. Not to mention he delivered mouth watering good love every single night. Still Queen had a sweet tooth for Logic and an occasional ravenous craving for her Teddy Bear’s tasty honey.
X absolutely doted on Queen and catered to her every whim. He had made it his primary duty to satisfy Queen’s phat sexy booty. So Queen had resolved to remain monogamous and completely faithful to him, despite her burning desire for Logic and Teddy. And even though their relationship remained a well kept secret on UCLA’s campus, for obvious reasons, the two lovers were otherwise inseparable.
Queen moved out of the townhouse and moved in with X almost immediately. She couldn’t bear being in the house that Logic’s love and money bought. So, she leased it to Jade and Dorian at a rent that they could afford. She kept her Hummer though and the Lamborghini from Paul, although Queen’s Palace remained off limits and you know why.
X was absolutely crazy over his Queen. She was a godsend to him. In fact he called her his angel. Queen felt cherished, loved, wanted and needed and she adored him for it. But her heart was still bruised and she was still very confused. It had been months since she spoke to Logic or saw Teddy and she missed them both.
The closest Queen had come to either of them was Monday Night Football, ESPN and Sports Center on TV. X tried to convince her to call them or at least go to a game, but she refused. He had a lot more faith in her than she had in herself. She realized that although Logic may in fact be done with her, Teddy was by no means finished with her, nor was she completely through with him. So she was content to follow their careers, their exploits and their lives through the media.
The game between the LA Archangels and the Nevada Kings in Los Angeles had Queen completely unhinged. She knew that Logic would be in LA with Teddy and she would yet again be the major topic of discussion. The word from the grapevine, Dorian via Jade, was that this would be the first time Logic had been in LA since they broke up.
The last place Queen wanted to be was in LA that weekend when he returned. She couldn’t possibly endure another surprise visit like the last one. So she was ecstatic when X planned an impromptu getaway to a mountain retreat for the two of them.
X parents owned a cabin in the mountains and he had decided that it would be the perfect place to pamper and comfort his Queen. Unbeknown to Queen X had invited his parents to the cabin to meet the woman he wanted to marry.
They arrived early Friday afternoon, so X took the opportunity to be alone with Queen before his parents arrived. As they toured the humongous log cabin X cornered Queen in the large master bedroom loft.
“So, what do you think?” X asked as he encircled Queen’s waist and drew her body close to his. He gently kissed her neck as he rocked her in his arms.
“Oh, it’s a gorgeous place. The view is spectacular. I love it.” Queen sighed. “This is just what I need to relax.”
“I wasn’t talking about the cabin or the view.”
Queen could feel X’s hardness through his jeans. His kisses were seductive and sweet and she knew that the real key to total relaxation dwell within his arms. “Oh, I see.” She moaned as he continued to seduce her.
“Let me relax you.” He whispered in her ear as he shoved his hands down the front of Queen’s pants.
His hand felt good and Queen instantly knew that this was what she really needed. It didn’t take much coaching to get Queen out of her jeans and flat on her back in the bed. X had learned exactly what Queen liked and precisely how she liked it. His tongue was like a heat seeking missile as it sought the hot spot between Queen’s thighs. She squirmed as he locked in on her treasure palace. She moaned in ecstasy as his curly blonde locks bobbed up and down between her bronze legs. She couldn’t resist running her hands through his hair.
X loved everything about Queen and he especially loved the way she tasted. “God, I love the way your pussy tastes.” He moaned as he prepared to finish her off.
Queen felt her release coming upon her quickly as she enjoyed X’s mastery of pussyology. But she wasn’t quite ready to come. She wanted to savor the moment and make it last as long as possible, so she flipped X on his back and sucked his hardness deep into her throat driving him bananas.
X groaned as the warmth of Queen’s mouth melted his hard shaft like butter on hot steel. Excited, he grind his pelvis hard and fast in Queen’s face, shoving his dick even further down her throat, as she continued to devour him one inch at a time. It didn’t take long before X was ready to explode like Queen.
“Angel, I’m coming.” He announced as he flipped Queen on her back and entered her as he sucked and licked her hard nipples.
Queen relaxed as she lost herself in the pleasure of his stroke and the warmth of his gentle eyes. She loved it when he called her his angel. Somehow it validated the fact that she was faithful and doing the right thing by him. She smiled as his stroke shortened in length but doubled in speed. She knew that X was close and the constant clapping of the muscles of her koochie let her know that she’d be right there with him.
Moments later the two of them clashed together as hard and as furious as they could. Seconds later they screamed out in ecstasy as they came hard in unison. X kissed Queen tenderly as he brushed her hair out of her face.
“I love you Angel.” He confessed as he kissed her shoulder.
Before Queen could respond the sound of someone entering the cabin could be heard from the loft.
“What the hell! Somebody’s down there!” Queen whispered as she gathered the sheet around her naked body.
X smiled as he kissed her forehead. “Don’t worry it’s just my parents.”
“Xavier are you up there?” X’s mom called out.
“I told you we should have called to let him know that we were arriving early.” X’s Dad scowled.
“Nonsense… Xavier are you here?” She continued to call.
“Yeah, we’ll be down in a few.” X called back.
Queen was shocked. She snatched the sheet off the bed and dashed off to the bathroom.
X laughed as he gathered her clothes and followed her into the bathroom. “Here you might need these. Come down and meet my parents when you’re dressed.”
“I can’t believe that you ambushed me like this. Why didn’t you tell me that your parents were coming?”
X laughed. “Calm down. Why are you getting so upset?”
“X this shit is not funny. Your mother’s going to think I’m a hoe, up here screwing you in the middle of the day.”
“Don’t worry, my parents are going to love you. They were once young and in love. They know what it’s like. Get dress and meet me downstairs.” X said as he searched beneath the bathroom sink for mouthwash.
Naturally, Queen was a bundle of nerves. She had absolutely no clue that their relationship had even progressed to the “It’s time to meet the parents,” stage. So she was by no means ready to endure the always uncomfortable inquisition which she had heard all her girlfriends whine about. The truth was that the only parents that Queen had the privilege of meeting were Logic’s parents and she was twelve years old. Karma would dictate that she was well overdue a bite in the ass.
She could hear X’s mom and dad laugh and joke with him. She said a quick prayer before going downstairs to join them. “God please let them like me.”
Queen was absolutely radiant as she descended the stairs from the loft. Still as beautiful as she was X’s mom took one look at her and ran out of the room crying hysterically. “Xavier, what the hell were you thinking?” She yelled.
“You could have at least warned us.” X’s father said shaking his head in disapproval as he left the room to console his wife.
“Dad… Dad, wait a minute.” X called after his father. “Queen, I am so sorry. I’ll be right back.” He apologized.
Needless to say Queen was devastated. Their romance had been a secluded very private affair until now. It never crossed Queen’s mind that X’s parents or anybody else for that matter wouldn’t be down with their little chocolate and vanilla swirl. Uncertain what to do and with nowhere to go Queen sat on the steps and waited for X to return.
“Unfucking believable!” She mumbled as she wiped a lone tear from the corner of her eye. Too proud to cry she bit her lips and sucked it up. “I am an intelligent, stunningly beautiful woman of any color. Hell, I’m practically a doctor! If they don’t think I’m good enough for their son because of the color of my skin then fuck them! I’ll fuck their son for the next ten years out of sheer spite! Racist bitches!” Queen murmured beneath her breath.
Queen couldn’t hear what was going on in the other room but she knew that they were talking about her. A part of Queen screamed, “Get the fuck out of here, right now!”
Still another part of her refused to let her move a damn inch. Her parents taught her that racism and bigotry had to be confronted head on if it was ever to be defeated. So she decided to stand her ground and tell X’s parents to go fuck themselves.
Moments later X emerged. “Queen are you alright? Look I can explain.” He said as he approached Queen to comfort her, but she wasn’t having it. He tried to hold her in his arms but she pulled away.
“Get off of me.” She warned as she watched X’s dad come out the room towards her.
“Mye Queen, I’m Alexander Hope, Xavier’s father. Come take a walk with me.” X’s father offered as he extended his hand to Queen.
Queen was absolutely pissed by now. Her eyes never left X as she reluctantly took his father’s hand and allowed him to lead her outside.
“Dad let me talk to her first.” X pleaded.
“It’s okay. Let me talk to her. Go check on your mom for me.”
Expecting almost anything Queen pulled her hand out of Mr. Hope’s as they left the cabin. She followed him to a cluster of chairs on the cabin porch and stood facing him as he offered a seat.
“Have a seat Queen.”
“No thank you. I prefer to stand.”
“Look Queen, I know what this may look like, but it’s not what it appears to be.”
Queen remained silent.
“Are you okay?”
“I’ve been better.”
“I can’t imagine how you must feel.”
“How could you imagine how I feel?”
“Look, my wife and I are not racist. If that’s what you think. It’s just that… Can I show you something?”
Queen nodded, her head, yes.
Mr. Hope pulled out his cell phone and scrolled through its menu until he found what he was looking for. “Take a look at these.” He said as he gave Queen his phone.
Queen took the phone and looked at the screen. A picture of a beautiful baby girl who appeared to be a little over a year old was displayed. Her big expressive eyes, and toothless grin made Queen smile.
“Scroll through there are plenty more pictures to see. She’s so cute I can’t stop taking pictures of her.” Mr. Hope beamed. “Isn’t she the most beautiful thing that you’ve ever seen?”
Queen smiled and nodded in agreement. “She’s gorgeous. Who is she?”
“She’s my granddaughter, Katelyn. She’s almost fifteen months old.”
Confused, Queen took a closer look at the photo of the cute little toddler who was obviously mixed. “She’s your granddaughter? But she’s…”
“Mixed? Yeah, she is. So, you see we’re not racist by no stretch of the imagination.”
“But why did your wife respond the way she did when she saw me?”
“Sit down and I’ll try to explain.” Mr. Hope offered as he patted the seat of the chair next to him.
Intrigued, Queen returned his phone and took a seat next to him.
“Queen my wife and I have temporary custody of Katelyn. She wasn’t upset that you were an African American. She was upset because you reminded her of someone that she loved and adored and that someone has passed on. Seeing, you brought back a lot of painful memories. It stirred up a lot of emotions that we tried to bury when we buried her.”
“Who was she?”
“She was my daughter in-law, Katelyn’s mom.”
“But what does that have to do with X, I mean Xavier?”
Mr. Hope hesitated before speaking. “Queen, I don’t know how to tell you this but Angel was Xavier's wife. She died in childbirth.”
“Angel… and did you say wife?” Queen asked stunned.
“I can’t believe Xavier didn’t tell you about her. Then again it doesn’t really surprise me. He took Angel’s death really hard. We had to take Katelyn home from the hospital with us. He was so distraught he couldn’t even stand to look at her. We’ve had her every since she was born.”
Queen stood up abruptly to leave. “Excuse me Mr. Hope I need to talk to X.”
“Please, let me finish.”
Queen draws a deep breath and agrees to stay.
“Queen I know what you’re thinking, but Xavier loves you.”
“No disrespect Mr. Hope but X loves Angel. He’s practically renamed me Angel. Oh my God I can’t believe…”
“No, Queen. Xavier is in love with you. No matter what he calls you. Yes I’m sure he probably has slipped up and called you Angel a time or two. But Queen look, you have to admit that you look exactly like her.”
Mr. Hope shows Queen a picture of X and Angel apparently taken on their wedding day. If Queen did not know better she probably would have thought that Angel was her identical twin sister. Unfortunately none of this made her feel any better. In fact it was all worse than she could ever imagine. X was using her as a clone of his dead wife.
“But he calls me her name even when we make love.”
“I know this must hurt, but I’m telling you what I know. He is in love with you. He’s different since you’ve been in his life. You’ve made him okay with losing Angel. He’s finally able to hold his daughter in his arms and not fall apart. All of this is because of you. Please don’t take that away from him by pulling away from him, because he occasionally calls you his deceased wife’s name. Queen search your heart and I’m sure that in there you’ll find that he really truly loves you for who you are.”
Queen wiped the tears that ran down her face like pouring rain. She had no doubt in her mind that X loved her. Yeah at times she probably did remind him of Angel, but that was undoubtedly a very small per cent of the time that they spent together. From the very beginning all he asked was to be near her. He didn’t use her. He needed her.
She’d lost someone that she loved and she knew firsthand how debilitating it could be. It didn’t take much to realize that she couldn’t walk away from him now even if she wanted to. X needed her just like she needed Bear to help her make it through when Paul died. And she loved him enough to endure whatever was necessary to get him back to his precious little girl.
“Are you okay?” Mr. Hope asked concerned.
“This hurts really, really bad, but I’m going to be okay. I lost someone that I loved a little over a year ago, so I know what he’s going through. I’m not going to leave him. I’ll be here for as long as he needs me.” Queen promised.
“Bless you. I just didn’t want you to walk away without knowing the whole story. I’m not sure what he would have done, if you…” X’s dad replied trying to hold back tears that strained to pour like rain.
“Thank you for being honest with me.” Queen said as she hugged him. “I’ll make sure Katelyn gets back in her dad’s life were she belongs.”
“Thank you, Mye Queen. Thank you.”
Queen left Mr. Hope on the porch quietly weeping tears for the daughter in-law he loss, the granddaughter he adored and the resurrection of the son he loved more than life itself. He silently prayed that with Queen in his life X could recover from the funk that plunged him into a deep dark depression and caused him to shun his beautiful baby girl. In his heart’s heart he knew that Queen had exactly what it took to love X back to life, and he was right.
