[16] καὶ προσήνεγκεν τὸ ὁλοκαύτωμα καὶ ἐποίησεν αὐτό, ὡς καθήκει.
[16] And he brought the whole-burnt-offering, and offered it in due form.
[17] καὶ προσήνεγκεν τὴν θυσίαν καὶ ἔπλησεν τὰς χεῖρας ἀπ’ αὐτῆς καὶ ἐπέθηκεν ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον χωρὶς τοῦ ὁλοκαυτώματος τοῦ πρωινοῦ.
[17] And he brought the sacrifice and filled his hands with it, and laid it on the altar, besides the morning whole-burnt-offering.
[18] καὶ ἔσφαξεν τὸν μόσχον καὶ τὸν κριὸν τῆς θυσίας τοῦ σωτηρίου τῆς τοῦ λαοῦ· καὶ προσήνεγκαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ααρων τὸ αἷμα πρὸς αὐτόν, καὶ προσέχεεν πρὸς τὸ θυσιαστήριον κύκλῳ·
[18] And he slew the calf, and the ram of the sacrifice of peace-offering of the people; and the sons of Aaron brought the blood to him, and he poured it out on the altar round about.
[19] καὶ τὸ στέαρ τὸ ἀπὸ τοῦ μόσχου καὶ τοῦ κριοῦ, τὴν ὀσφὴν καὶ τὸ στέαρ τὸ κατακαλύπτον ἐπὶ τῆς κοιλίας καὶ τοὺς δύο νεφροὺς καὶ τὸ στέαρ τὸ ἐπ’ αὐτῶν καὶ τὸν λοβὸν τὸν ἐπὶ τοῦ ἥπατος,
[19] And he took the fat of the calf, and the hind quarters of the ram, and the fat covering the belly, and the two kidneys, and the fat upon them, and the caul on the liver.
[20] καὶ ἐπέθηκεν τὰ στέατα ἐπὶ τὰ στηθύνια, καὶ ἀνήνεγκαν τὰ στέατα ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον.
[20] And he put the fat on the breasts, and offered the fat on the altar.
[21] καὶ τὸ στηθύνιον καὶ τὸν βραχίονα τὸν δεξιὸν ἀφεῖλεν Ααρων ἀφαίρεμα ἔναντι κυρίου, ὃν τρόπον συνέταξεν κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ. –
[21] And Aaron separated the breast and the right shoulder as a choice-offering before the Lord, as the Lord commanded Moses.
[22] καὶ ἐξάρας Ααρων τὰς χεῖρας ἐπὶ τὸν λαὸν εὐλόγησεν αὐτούς· καὶ κατέβη ποιήσας τὸ περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας καὶ τὰ ὁλοκαυτώματα καὶ τὰ τοῦ σωτηρίου.
[22] And Aaron lifted up his hands on the people and blessed them; and after he had offered the sin-offering, and the whole-burnt-offerings, and the peace-offerings, he came down.
[23] καὶ εἰσῆλθεν Μωϋσῆς καὶ Ααρων εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ ἐξελθόντες εὐλόγησαν πάντα τὸν λαόν, καὶ ὤφθη ἡ δόξα κυρίου παντὶ τῷ λαῷ.
[23] And Moses and Aaron entered into the tabernacle of witness. And they came out and blessed all the people, and the glory of the Lord appeared to all the people.
[24] καὶ ἐξῆλθεν πῦρ παρὰ κυρίου καὶ κατέφαγεν τὰ ἐπὶ τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου, τά τε ὁλοκαυτώματα καὶ τὰ στέατα, καὶ εἶδεν πᾶς ὁ λαὸς καὶ ἐξέστη καὶ ἔπεσαν ἐπὶ πρόσωπον.
[24] And fire came forth from the Lord, and devoured the offerings on the altar, both the whole-burnt-offerings and the fat; and all the people saw, and were amazed, and fell upon their faces.
CHAPTER 10
[1] Καὶ λαβόντες οἱ δύο υἱοὶ Ααρων Ναδαβ καὶ Αβιουδ ἕκαστος τὸ πυρεῖον αὐτοῦ ἐπέθηκαν ἐπ’ αὐτὸ πῦρ καὶ ἐπέβαλον ἐπ’ αὐτὸ θυμίαμα καὶ προσήνεγκαν ἔναντι κυρίου πῦρ ἀλλότριον, ὃ οὐ προσέταξεν κύριος αὐτοῖς.
[1] And the two sons of Aaron, Nadab and Abiud, took each his censer, and put fire therein, and threw incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the Lord, which the Lord did not command them,
[2] καὶ ἐξῆλθεν πῦρ παρὰ κυρίου καὶ κατέφαγεν αὐτούς, καὶ ἀπέθανον ἔναντι κυρίου.
[2] and fire came forth from the Lord, and devoured them, and they died before the Lord.
[3] καὶ εἶπεν Μωϋσῆς πρὸς Ααρων Τοῦτό ἐστιν, ὃ εἶπεν κύριος λέγων Ἐν τοῖς ἐγγίζουσίν μοι ἁγιασθήσομαι καὶ ἐν πάσῃ τῇ συναγωγῇ δοξασθήσομαι. καὶ κατενύχθη Ααρων.
[3] And Moses said to Aaron, This is the thing which the Lord spoke, saying, I will be sanctified among them that draw night to me, and I will be glorified in the whole congregation; and Aaron was pricked in his heart.
[4] καὶ ἐκάλεσεν Μωϋσῆς τὸν Μισαδαι καὶ τὸν Ελισαφαν υἱοὺς Οζιηλ υἱοὺς τοῦ ἀδελφοῦ τοῦ πατρὸς Ααρων καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς Προσέλθατε καὶ ἄρατε τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς ὑμῶν ἐκ προσώπου τῶν ἁγίων ἔξω τῆς παρεμβολῆς.
[4] And Moses called Misadae, and Elisaphan, sons of Oziel, sons of the brother of Aaron’s father, and said to them, Draw near and take your brethren from before the sanctuary out of the camp.
[5] καὶ προσῆλθον καὶ ἦραν ἐν τοῖς χιτῶσιν αὐτῶν ἔξω τῆς παρεμβολῆς, ὃν τρόπον εἶπεν Μωϋσῆς.
[5] And they came near and took them in their coats out of the camp, as Moses said.
[6] καὶ εἶπεν Μωϋσῆς πρὸς Ααρων καὶ Ελεαζαρ καὶ Ιθαμαρ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτοῦ τοὺς καταλελειμμένους Τὴν κεφαλὴν ὑμῶν οὐκ ἀποκιδαρώσετε καὶ τὰ ἱμάτια ὑμῶν οὐ διαρρήξετε, ἵνα μὴ ἀποθάνητε καὶ ἐπὶ πᾶσαν τὴν συναγωγὴν ἔσται θυμός· οἱ ἀδελφοὶ ὑμῶν πᾶς ὁ οἶκος Ισραηλ κλαύσονται τὸν ἐμπυρισμόν, ὃν ἐνεπυρίσθησαν ὑπὸ κυρίου.
[6] And Moses said to Aaron, and Eleazar and Ithamar his sons that were left, Ye shall not make bare your heads, and ye shall not tear your garments; that ye die not, and so there should be wrath on all the congregation: but your brethren, even all the house of Israel, shall lament for the burning, with which they were burnt by the Lord.
[7] καὶ ἀπὸ τῆς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου οὐκ ἐξελεύσεσθε, ἵνα μὴ ἀποθάνητε· τὸ γὰρ ἔλαιον τῆς χρίσεως τὸ παρὰ κυρίου ἐφ’ ὑμῖν. καὶ ἐποίησαν κατὰ τὸ ῥῆμα Μωυσῆ.
[7] And ye shall not go forth from the door of the tabernacle of witness, that ye die not; for the Lord’s anointing oil is upon you: and they did according to the word of Moses.
[8] Καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος τῷ Ααρων λέγων
[8] And the Lord spoke to Aaron, saying,
[9] Οἶνον καὶ σικερα οὐ πίεσθε, σὺ καὶ οἱ υἱοί σου μετὰ σοῦ, ἡνίκα ἂν εἰσπορεύησθε εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου, ἢ προσπορευομένων ὑμῶν πρὸς τὸ θυσιαστήριον, καὶ οὐ μὴ ἀποθάνητε [νόμιμον αἰώνιον εἰς τὰς γενεὰς ὑμῶν]
[9] Ye shall not drink wine nor strong drink, thou and thy sons with thee, whensoever ye enter into the tabernacle of witness, or when ye approach the altar, so shall ye not die; it is a perpetual statute for your generations,
[10] διαστεῖλαι ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν ἁγίων καὶ τῶν βεβήλων καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν ἀκαθάρτων καὶ τῶν καθαρῶν.
[10] to distinguish between sacred and profane, and between clean and unclean,
[11] καὶ συμβιβάσεις τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ πάντα τὰ νόμιμα, ἃ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς αὐτοὺς διὰ χειρὸς Μωυσῆ.
[11] and to teach the children of Israel all the statutes, which the Lord spoke to them by Moses.
[12] Καὶ εἶπεν Μωϋσῆς πρὸς Ααρων καὶ πρὸς Ελεαζαρ καὶ Ιθαμαρ τοὺς υἱοὺς Ααρων τοὺς καταλειφθέντας Λάβετε τὴν θυσίαν τὴν καταλειφθεῖσαν ἀπὸ τῶν καρπωμάτων κυρίου καὶ φάγεσθε ἄζυμα παρὰ τὸ θυσιαστήριον· ἅγια ἁγίων ἐστίν.
[12] And Moses said to Aaron, and to Eleazar and Ithamar, the sons of Aaron who survived, Take the sacrifice that is left of the burnt-offerings of the Lord, and ye shall eat unleavened bread by the altar: it is most holy.
[13] καὶ φάγεσθε αὐτὴν ἐν τόπῳ ἁγίῳ· νόμιμον γάρ σοί ἐστιν καὶ νόμιμον τοῖς υἱοῖς σου τοῦτο ἀπὸ τῶν καρπωμάτων κυρίου· οὕτω γὰρ ἐντέταλταί μοι.
[13] And ye shall eat it in the holy place; for this is a statute for thee and a statute for thy sons, of the burnt-offerings to the Lord; for so it has been commanded me.
[14] καὶ τὸ στηθύνιον τοῦ ἀφορίσματος καὶ τὸν βραχίονα τοῦ ἀφαιρέματος φάγεσθε ἐν τόπῳ ἁγίῳ, σὺ καὶ οἱ υἱοί σου καὶ ὁ οἶκός σου μετὰ σοῦ· νόμιμον γὰρ σοὶ καὶ νόμιμον τοῖς υἱοῖς σου ἐδόθη ἀπὸ τῶν θυσιῶν τοῦ σωτηρίου τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ.
[14] And ye shall eat the breast of separation, and the shoulder of the choice-offering in the holy place, thou and thy sons and thy house with thee; for it has been given as an ordinance for thee and an ordinance for thy sons, of the sacrifices of peace-offering of the children of Israel.
[15] τὸν βραχίονα τοῦ ἀφαιρέματος καὶ τὸ στηθύνιον τοῦ ἀφορίσματος ἐπὶ τῶν καρπωμάτων τῶν στεάτων προσοίσουσιν, ἀφόρισμα ἀφορίσαι ἔναντι κυρίου· καὶ ἔσται σοὶ καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς σου καὶ ταῖς θυγατράσιν σου μετὰ σοῦ νόμιμον αἰώνιον, ὃν τρόπον συνέταξεν κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ.
[15] They shall bring the shoulder of the choice-offering, and the breast of the separation upon the burnt-offerings of the fat, to separate for a separation before the Lord; and it shall be a perpetual ordinance for thee and thy sons and thy daughters with thee, as the Lord commanded Moses.
[16] Καὶ τὸν χίμαρον τὸν περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας ζητῶν ἐξεζήτησεν Μωϋσῆς, καὶ ὅδε ἐνεπεπύριστο· καὶ ἐθυμώθη Μωϋσῆς ἐπὶ Ελεαζαρ καὶ Ιθαμαρ τοὺς υἱοὺς Ααρων τοὺς καταλελειμμένους λέγων
[16] And Moses diligently sought the goat of the sin-offering, but it had been consumed by fire; and Moses was angry with Eleazar and Ithamar the sons of Aaron that were left, saying,
[17] Διὰ τί οὐκ ἐφάγετε τὸ περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας ἐν τόπῳ ἁγίῳ; ὅτι γὰρ ἅγια ἁγίων ἐστίν, τοῦτο ἔδωκεν ὑμῖν φαγεῖν, ἵνα ἀφέλητε τὴν ἁμαρτίαν τῆς συναγωγῆς καὶ ἐξιλάσησθε περὶ αὐτῶν ἔναντι κυρίου·
[17] Why did ye not eat the sin-offering in the holy place? for because it is most holy he has given you this to eat, that ye might take away the sin of the congregation, and make atonement for them before the Lord.
[18] οὐ γὰρ εἰσήχθη τοῦ αἵματος αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸ ἅγιον· κατὰ πρόσωπον ἔσω φάγεσθε αὐτὸ ἐν τόπῳ ἁγίῳ, ὃν τρόπον μοι συνέταξεν κύριος.
[18] For the blood of it was not brought into the holy place: ye shall eat it within, before the Lord, as the Lord commanded me.
[19] καὶ ἐλάλησεν Ααρων πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων Εἰ σήμερον προσαγειόχασιν τὰ περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας αὐτῶν καὶ τὰ ὁλοκαυτώματα αὐτῶν ἔναντι κυρίου, καὶ συμβέβηκέν μοι ταῦτα· καὶ φάγομαι τὰ περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας σήμερον, μὴ ἀρεστὸν ἔσται κυρίῳ;
[19] And Aaron spoke to Moses, saying, If they have brought nigh to-day their sin-offerings, and their whole-burnt-offerings before the Lord, and these events have happened to me, and yet I should eat to-day of the sin-offerings, would it be pleasing to the Lord?
[20] καὶ ἤκουσεν Μωϋσῆς, καὶ ἤρεσεν αὐτῷ.
[20] And Moses heard it, and it pleased him.
CHAPTER 11
[1] Καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν καὶ Ααρων λέγων
[1] And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying,
[2] Λαλήσατε τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ λέγοντες Ταῦτα τὰ κτήνη, ἃ φάγεσθε ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν κτηνῶν τῶν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς·
[2] Speak ye to the sons of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat of all beasts that are upon the earth.
[3] πᾶν κτῆνος διχηλοῦν ὁπλὴν καὶ ὀνυχιστῆρας ὀνυχίζον δύο χηλῶν καὶ ἀνάγον μηρυκισμὸν ἐν τοῖς κτήνεσιν, ταῦτα φάγεσθε.
[3] Every beast parting the hoof and making divisions of two claws, and chewing the cud among beasts, these ye shall eat.
[4] πλὴν ἀπὸ τούτων οὐ φάγεσθε· ἀπὸ τῶν ἀναγόντων μηρυκισμὸν καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν διχηλούντων τὰς ὁπλὰς καὶ ὀνυχιζόντων ὀνυχιστῆρας· τὸν κάμηλον, ὅτι ἀνάγει μηρυκισμὸν τοῦτο, ὁπλὴν δὲ οὐ διχηλεῖ, ἀκάθαρτον τοῦτο ὑμῖν·
[4] But of these ye shall not eat, of those that chew the cud, and of those that part the hoofs, and divide claws; the camel, because it chews the cud, but does not divide the hoof, this is unclean to you.
[5] καὶ τὸν δασύποδα, ὅτι ἀνάγει μηρυκισμὸν τοῦτο καὶ ὁπλὴν οὐ διχηλεῖ, ἀκάθαρτον τοῦτο ὑμῖν·
[5] And the rabbit, because it chews the cud, but does not divide the hoof, this is unclean to you.
[6] καὶ τὸν χοιρογρύλλιον, ὅτι ἀνάγει μηρυκισμὸν τοῦτο καὶ ὁπλὴν οὐ διχηλεῖ, ἀκάθαρτον τοῦτο ὑμῖν·
[6] And the hare, because it does not chew the cud, and does not divide the hoof, this is unclean to you.
[7] καὶ τὸν ὗν, ὅτι διχηλεῖ ὁπλὴν τοῦτο καὶ ὀνυχίζει ὄνυχας ὁπλῆς, καὶ τοῦτο οὐκ ἀνάγει μηρυκισμόν, ἀκάθαρτον τοῦτο ὑμῖν·
[7] And the swine, because this animal divides the hoof, and makes claws of the hoof, and it does not chew the cud, is unclean to you.
[8] ἀπὸ τῶν κρεῶν αὐτῶν οὐ φάγεσθε καὶ τῶν θνησιμαίων αὐτῶν οὐχ ἅψεσθε, ἀκάθαρτα ταῦτα ὑμῖν.
[8] Ye shall not eat of their flesh, and ye shall not touch their carcases; these are unclean to you.
[9] Καὶ ταῦτα, ἃ φάγεσθε ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν ἐν τοῖς ὕδασιν· πάντα, ὅσα ἐστὶν αὐτοῖς πτερύγια καὶ λεπίδες ἐν τοῖς ὕδασιν καὶ ἐν ταῖς θαλάσσαις καὶ ἐν τοῖς χειμάρροις, ταῦτα φάγεσθε.
[9] And these are what ye shall eat of all that are in the waters: all things that have fins and scales in the waters, and in the seas, and in the brooks, these ye shall eat.
[10] καὶ πάντα, ὅσα οὐκ ἔστιν αὐτοῖς πτερύγια οὐδὲ λεπίδες ἐν τῷ ὕδατι ἢ ἐν ταῖς θαλάσσαις καὶ ἐν τοῖς χειμάρροις, ἀπὸ πάντων, ὧν ἐρεύγεται τὰ ὕδατα, καὶ ἀπὸ πάσης ψυχῆς ζώσης τῆς ἐν τῷ ὕδατι βδέλυγμά ἐστιν·
[10] And all things which have not fins or scales in the water, or in the seas, and in the brooks, of all which the waters produce, and of every soul living in the water, are an abomination; and they shall be abominations to you.
[11] καὶ βδελύγματα ἔσονται ὑμῖν, ἀπὸ τῶν κρεῶν αὐτῶν οὐκ ἔδεσθε καὶ τὰ θνησιμαῖα αὐτῶν βδελύξεσθε·
[11] Ye shall not eat of their flesh, and ye shall abhor their carcases.

[13] And these are the things which ye shall abhor of birds, and they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle and the ossifrage, and the sea-eagle.
[14] καὶ τὸν γύπα καὶ ἰκτῖνα καὶ τὰ ὅμοια αὐτῷ
[14] And the vulture, and the kite, and the like to it;
