Precisely, the small messenger demons arrived at that alternative den. Alternative den was the name that the leader demons themselves had given to the camp where that tent was located, since the main base of these was in an archipelago apparently unknown to many people, which could only be reached in the naval fleets that the demons hid in the piers of the port. The alternative den was constituted by a camp in the Northeast of the Northern continent, hidden within the bowels of a dark and thick forest, that bordered on the East with an only abandoned port on that coast, although it was assumed that there was no other on any other coast of the northern continent and even less of the southern continent. They called this place the Ghost Port, because it remained hidden among the fog banks that covered several miles of extension, during the entire day, every day of the year.
After that, Suleiman was forced to work for Satan and his cooperation was decidedly vital for the demons to track Abed down and find him, Rahab's father and the last living descendant of the first man and the first woman who inhabited the Earth. In fact it was Suleiman himself who discovered that Abed and his family lived in that castle, from where his daughter escaped with Experience and Youth. And how did he do it? Thanks to the cards. Through them, the wizard could know where every person he knew personally and therefore knew his name was, and thanks to a spell made by him, the demons could see what the cards said in the "Burning mirror", located inside the biggest tent, which was within the bowels of that dark and thick forest. From there, that is, once the wanted person was found, thanks to the wizard, the demons themselves concluded the task of capturing or murdering them, and in case they escape, that of pursuing them through they developed sense of smell until they are found. They only went to the wizard again in case who they were pursuing was lost thousands and thousands of miles away, communicating through the messenger demons, with their superiors who helped Satan.
Precisely, six of those demons that helped Satan were those who remained in that great tent with the wizard Suleiman; for it was Satan himself who gave names and higher ranks among the demons to twelve of those angels who took Lucifer´s side, now called Satan, in that rebellion of angels that took place dozens and dozens of years ago in the Heavenly country. Even, these twelve superior demons that would be something like his twelve disciples were baptized with new names by Satan... Among those who were in that tent with the wizard Suleiman, there were three female demons called Envy, Rage and Revenge, and three of male sex that were baptized Hate, Pain and Suffering.
Then, after giving endless turns in the place, as if they were a spinning top in front of the oval—shape mirror of great dimensions that was in flames, as a small fountain in front of it, both objects were in the centre of the tent in front of a circular table where they sat down, with different cards on it that belonged to the wizard; the messenger demons revered those who were sitting at the table, and kneeling as if begging for mercy, one of them gave the first message, which was magically reflected in the burning mirror.
The face of one of the demons that invaded the castle appeared there, more precisely the one that commanded the group that went towards the towns of the central region of the southern continent, and under his face, the exact image of the journey that in that moment they were travelling in the middle of a cloudy night... a plain that bordered on a northern forest, which descended towards the South bordering on a basin that was constantly twisting...
Shortly after, the image disappeared from the mirror and the demon affirmed itself by concluding the first message described in images and without any dialogue. The same did not happen with the second messenger demon, who after kneeling as his companion did, announced the second message, which, like the first one, was reflected in the burning mirror, with the difference that the demon that appeared was the one leading the group that left towards the West, direction that Experience, Youth and Rahab took.
Then the demon gave the following information:
—My respected Superiors, both the last descendant of the first man and the first woman to inhabit the Earth, as well as his daughter and the men who accompany them, have left the castle. Therefore, we believe that the group that went to the East following what the cards showed, will be able to capture the last male descendant of the first couple that inhabited the Earth. —Before the demons invaded the castle, Suleiman, thanks to the power that the cards gave to him, had already located Abed by knowing him personally, so the demons that led that base immediately sent a group of soldiers in his capture. Something that could not happen to Rahab, whom Suleiman did not know personally, he just knew her name —Another group is currently moving through the central region of this continent and us through the West, and we are both trying to locate the young Rahab, who cannot be far from here. If there is any news we will communicate again— The demon concluded, and while he said this, under his face appeared in the mirror, the place they travelled by that time was described in pictures, the eucalyptus forest that in its entrails hid that abandoned castle.
Soon after the images magically disappeared from the burning mirror and the messenger demon that had transmitted the message stopped, listening to one of the leaders, Envy, who ordered:
—You can return with your masters —And the messenger demons spun like a spinning top in the place, disappearing through the same hole they made when they reached that horrific tent, which housed some of their main leaders, and under the ground, they returned to their masters.
In those moments, the mirror in flames was covered even more with fire, and from the centre of the fountain surrendered to their feet, another small demon appeared among the flames, that belonged in this case to Satan, and that gave warning of his future appearance. The six disciple demons stood firm by the round table, while Envy, who ordered the messenger demons to return with their masters said looking at Suleiman:
—Stand up, ignorant wizard, or I will club you more than the day we took you out of your house unconscious, although in this case you would not faint but it would kill you...
Suleiman complied with the order quickly and, when the flaming fire that covered the entire mirror diminished, Satan, yes, the Devil himself, appeared reflected in it as magically as everything that happened in that object.
Like the day he fell to Hell sent by God, Satan had his angel face totally deformed and dark, his skin was red, he had two horns on his head and his red cloak.
—My kind servants, I know thanks to the disturbance of the deep lands that the messenger demons were there. What did they say? Have you already captured the last male descendant of the first human couple that inhabited the Earth?
—Not yet Lord, but as you already know, the clairvoyance of this wizard made it easier to know where that last descendant was, but the group of demons sent in his capture has not yet managed to locate him in person. Indeed, he left the castle to the East, so we estimate that we will find him from one moment to another, and that in a short time, together with the group of demons that moved to that region of the southern continent, he will go along with the last man descendant of the first human couple that inhabited the Earth, by one of the roads that lead to the free lands of the South, where the treasure awaits us. Regarding to the daughter of this man called Abed, as you well know, this wizard cannot know where she is since he does not know her in person. But the messenger demon sent by his master before he died -it was the one who was killed by one of Experience´s arrows- allowed us to recognize the girl who was in the company of two others. Therefore, we sent an important group of demons that arrived at the castle after they escaped. But they cannot be far away. The group was divided in two and now they are looking for the young woman, one in the central region of the continent, and the other in the western region.
—Who were those two that accompanied her?
—We do not know Lord, we assume that friends of his father —Satan touched his thoughtful face and then ordered:
— The wizard must track the girl!
—Sir, I cannot find someone I do not know personally, even if you show me a thousand images of the person —The wizard interrupted.
—I hope it is true or you will die before its time —Satan said.
—I swear, Lord —The terrified Suleiman said.
—Find that girl, or I will stay in hell forever...! —Satan ordered, revealing a enigma, which only he and his disciples knew, and turning around as if covering himself with his cloak, he caused the mirror to burn in flames, and when the fire diminished, the figure of Satan had already disappeared.
Then, the demons sat down next to the table followed by Suleiman, who immediately received an order from Envy, who acted as Satan's interlocutor.
—Wizard! Show us right now the exact place where Abed is, and the image must not disappear from the mirror until we see how our envoys capture him.
The six leaders concentrated on following carefully each movement of the wizard who, nervous, took a paper and a kind of quill that he dipped in ink, and wrote the name of Abed, making a cross above and below each letter, as part of the beginning of his spell. Then he took one of his many card decks, which he then slid to the centre of the table.
—Cut the deck three times and choose one pile —Suleiman said to Envy, since she gave him the order.
The woman demon, whose age was about twenty years of human life, that is, two hundred years of a demon´s life, the same as angel´s age, cut three times and took the pile from the left. Suleiman put aside the two remaining piles and taking the one chosen by the demon—skinned woman, he turned the first card of the pile over, which has the picture of a man surrounded by two others who had swords, and in the burning mirror its meaning was reflected in images for the six demon leaders. There Abed appeared, full—length, accompanied by his friends. Suleiman turned a second card over, showing the body of a man with the head of a buffalo, and since the mirror did not reflect any image, he turned a third card over, which showed several men with buffalo heads and a knife piercing them; in this case, the mirror showed the demons. The fourth card showed one man with a buffalo head again, standing next to a portal surrounded by precarious houses, and the mirror reflected its meaning in images: the group of demons that crossed the eastern region of the southern continent reached the town where the fruit market was. The fifth card that Suleiman turned over showed two men, one with a normal figure and the other with a buffalo head, separated by a handful of people, and the mirror conveyed its meaning: the demons were already prowling the town late at night and they went through the fruit market among the people, where Abed was also walking. Always from the top of the pile, Suleiman turned a sixth card over that showed two men facing each other, of which, like the previous ones, one was normal and the other had a buffalo head; once again the mirror conveyed its meaning: the demons had located Abed and his companions buying food at the end of an extensive row of items, shared by several owners who exhibited and sold their various products, and that adjoined other closed stalls as a fair. From there, the wizard Suleiman did not turn any other card over, and both he and the six disciple demons followed closely what happened to Abed through the images that the mirror showed, since once the sought person is located, it was possible to follow step by step throughout his life, as long as Suleiman did not remove the cards from the table returning them to his original pile or break the paper where he wrote the name of Abed, surrounded by crosses made with ink as a product of his spell.
Then the mirror continued reflecting what happened in that town...
...The demons in their state of men walked among the people until they were very close to Abed who, while he was waiting for one of his companions to receive the merchandise purchased from the seller, went with another of them to a drink store that was in front. They were being watched by demons who realized what Abed and his companion were doing, and went after them; three of the demons moved in their male state through the stalls as a fair, and from behind, they entered the drink stores; two of them were in charge of taking the owner through the back of the store and tying him, controlling their rage so as not to change to their real state, that of demons, and the other held the role of seller.
The movement of people on the street and the little artificial light, given that a few torches barely illuminated what was for sale, cooperated so that the operation of exchanging and kidnapping would go unnoticed. Then, by the time Abed and his companion reached the bar of the drinks shop, they were helped by the impostor demon.
—Sirs, what do you want? —The impostor offered, while the other demons that had not acted yet were divided into three trios; two of them on the side of Abed and his companion, pretending to observe what they would buy; the rest was behind, a situation that favoured that one of the gang of demons clapped Abed's back, taking advantage of the fact that the rest of the group that accompanied him were still waiting for the merchandise in the store on the other side of the street, and that just one of them looked towards where Abed was, not perceiving what was happening around.
—Do you know the man who is on the other street? Because I think he calls you —The demon lied, calling Abed from behind.
—Oh yes, thank you —Abed answered the demon—. See what they need —He said to his companion, who crossed the street leaving Abed alone, who was now telling the supposed owner of the store that appeared to be as human as he was, but was actually another demon.
—I would like... —And one of the nine demons that were part of those three trios that pretended to be customers of the place, took his knife, and put it sharply against Abed´s back and saying:
—Walk to the back of the store or you'll be a dead man. Come on. Fast — And surrounded by the nine demons as if they were a group of friends, Abed was taken to the back of the store where its real owner who had his feet, hands and mouth tied, accompanied by his two captor demons and by the impostor, who quickly left the inside of the store in his role as seller.
The demons covered Abed's mouth with a thick piece of rag so he would not ask for help, and they ran with him as a hostage, entering narrow alleys that led to the southern exit of that town.
Shortly afterwards, the man who accompanied and abandoned Abed in the store, falling into the trap set by one of the demons, stopped avoiding people and reached the store where the rest of his companions were,
who had just received what they bought, and he asked one of them:
—What did you want?
—Nothing. I did not call you —He stammered, while the others joined them and one asked:
—What is going on? —And when the first two looked at the store where Abed was supposed to be, who had been with him answered:
—It happens that they deceived me and took Abed —They all ran, some of them with the bags that kept the merchandise bought, and they crossed the street, knocking people down, and they looked around trying to find Abed.
The store was empty, so they did not hesitate to go to its back, where they found its owner tied. Two of them rushed to untie him and, when his mouth was free, he, nervous, said:
—Who are you? Some guys tied me up here. One of them entered the store, and later others appeared and took a man...
—Where did they go? —One of Abed's companions asked.
—They all went that way —The owner said, pointing at the alleys towards the south.
—Let's go for the horses —Another from Abed's group said, and a third of the group answered:
—Let´s divide us. Some of us must return to the castle for Rahab and the others —While a fourth man helped the owner of the store to recover, who thanked him without understanding anything, since that group of men suddenly appeared to untie him. They ran out through the front of the store, in search of the horses they left at East of that open—air market; even if they were already on the horses, it would take them a long time to reach the demons and their kidnapped friend Abed, since the demons were leaving the town's south, entering an open field of sunflowers.
However, when they arrived at where the horses were grazing, three of the group left to the North returning to the castle for Rahab and the others, and about eight of them did the same but towards the south, following the tracks that his friend Abed and his captors might have left.
Chapter V
An ally on the road
And while that was happening in the eastern region of the southern continent, in the Kingdom of Heaven, in the Heavenly country, there was a joint and striking manifestation of absolute silence from whatever angel inhabited it, as if suddenly they all had had a vision of imminent danger where some of their brothers were involved, since their developed senses, given their divine condition, showed them that Heaven itself had been disturbed, and a strange murmur of voices stopped them until drowned their hearts… Many of them staggered as if they were about to lose consciousness, falling with worry and pain. Only the voice of an abstract person or maybe one that just they could see, could give them the spiritual vitality back to recover from that situation of general suffering. And intuiting that something bad would happen soon, and trying to revive the spirit and soul of all his children angels, and then to avoid such dangerous situation, that omnipotent voice of the Almighty, creator of the Universe and father of every creature who breathed in it, exclaimed:
—My dear angels, raise your hearts to your Lord; It is fair and necessary to clean all worry and danger from your minds, and listen to your Father; He will have the right word to revive your souls and give you the courage to face your fears. He will accompany you at all times and even when you do not know how to make a road from the mud, He will be there to give you the serenity, confidence and clarity to continue your path. Now, come to the hall… —God concluded, and illuminating them with his light as if a fairy touched each of them with a magic wand, or perhaps all at once, the angels recovered their composure, and they went to the meeting room energetically.

—Where did they go? —One of Abed's companions asked.
—They all went that way —The owner said, pointing at the alleys towards the south.
—Let's go for the horses —Another from Abed's group said, and a third of the group answered:
—Let´s divide us. Some of us must return to the castle for Rahab and the others —While a fourth man helped the owner of the store to recover, who thanked him without understanding anything, since that group of men suddenly appeared to untie him. They ran out through the front of the store, in search of the horses they left at East of that open—air market; even if they were already on the horses, it would take them a long time to reach the demons and their kidnapped friend Abed, since the demons were leaving the town's south, entering an open field of sunflowers.
However, when they arrived at where the horses were grazing, three of the group left to the North returning to the castle for Rahab and the others, and about eight of them did the same but towards the south, following the tracks that his friend Abed and his captors might have left.
Chapter V
An ally on the road
And while that was happening in the eastern region of the southern continent, in the Kingdom of Heaven, in the Heavenly country, there was a joint and striking manifestation of absolute silence from whatever angel inhabited it, as if suddenly they all had had a vision of imminent danger where some of their brothers were involved, since their developed senses, given their divine condition, showed them that Heaven itself had been disturbed, and a strange murmur of voices stopped them until drowned their hearts… Many of them staggered as if they were about to lose consciousness, falling with worry and pain. Only the voice of an abstract person or maybe one that just they could see, could give them the spiritual vitality back to recover from that situation of general suffering. And intuiting that something bad would happen soon, and trying to revive the spirit and soul of all his children angels, and then to avoid such dangerous situation, that omnipotent voice of the Almighty, creator of the Universe and father of every creature who breathed in it, exclaimed:
—My dear angels, raise your hearts to your Lord; It is fair and necessary to clean all worry and danger from your minds, and listen to your Father; He will have the right word to revive your souls and give you the courage to face your fears. He will accompany you at all times and even when you do not know how to make a road from the mud, He will be there to give you the serenity, confidence and clarity to continue your path. Now, come to the hall… —God concluded, and illuminating them with his light as if a fairy touched each of them with a magic wand, or perhaps all at once, the angels recovered their composure, and they went to the meeting room energetically.
