Lincoln’s eyebrows raised. “Whatever I need to do to wipe my slate clean, officer.” He grinned.
“Oh, that’s going to take decades.” I grabbed his wrists, and in a blink cuffed them both to the bed. “So we better start making a dent… We’ll be here for a while.”
He throbbed and twitched underneath me, his pupils dilating with need, intensifying my own for him. I planned to be exceptionally merciless.
“You know when I said retribution would be tenfold on you?” A leer twisted my mouth as I unlatched my bra, letting it drop, knowing he couldn’t touch me. “I’m going to see how far I can push you until you break. Torture you.”
He groaned as I slide my tongue down his body. I would probably cave before he did, but for now I was going to torment the hell out of him. It was only fair.
I had no idea what was ahead of us, what curveballs life would toss out, but now I found it exciting. As long as Lincoln was by my side, we would overcome anything.

Sometimes life had a funny way of breaking you into tiny pieces and putting you back together. Handing you something you never thought you wanted, which turned out to be the exact thing you needed.
