America's Galactic Foreign Legion #6
Culture War
Walter Knight
SUMMARY:The military science-fiction saga takes a new turn as Colonel Joey R. Czerinski and his division of legionnaires, just trying to maintain peace in planet New Colorado’s New Gobi Desert, find themselves in the midst of more skirmishes with their spider alien foes. The spider Arthropodan Emperor declares war on American culture, hoping to preserve Arthropodan traditions and avoid cultural contamination from the American way of life. Tasked with carrying out the Emperor’s new strategy, the spider Governor of the North Territory takes his responsibility seriously by ordering the spider marine commander in the New Gobi sector to put a halt to interspecies trade. The spider commander complies by confiscating all incoming US merchandise flowing over the border between Legion-controlled and spider-controlled areas of the Demilitarized Zone. But despite the spider commander’s best efforts, the new generation of Arthropodan citizens on New Colorado have already adopted many American cultural icons, including the Nike Swoosh and skateboarding. Addicted to Starbucks coffee, the spider commander can’t see he’s a victim of cultural contamination as well. As the cultural war escalates, Czerinski deals with everything in his own unique way – by overreacting and alienating those closest to him. But this conflict is bigger than even Czerinski suspects, and the revolution grows stronger while the laughs keep coming.

Galactic Disney
Walter Knight
In this sixteenth installment of the perpetually preposterous military science fiction series, Colonel Joey R. Czerinski has his hands full when the Legion's own world-famous science fiction writer, Private Knight, gets some psycho backup from new recruit Private Randal Telk. Things are never going to be the same for the United States Galactic Foreign Legion or planet New Colorado. As construction of the new Galactic Disney theme park nears completion in New Colorado's New Gobi Desert, suspicion escalates between humans and spiders. On opening day, the Legion employs more than fairy dust and magical mice to provide security, mounting missiles and machine guns as backup in the 'Escape from Spider Mountain' ride. The Legion's goal is to keep the peace - but, as humans and spiders alike realize, peace is a relative concept. A former legionnaire baseball star returns for an exhibition game, upsetting Colonel Joey Czerinski's plan to hedge his bet. Joey Junior, a chip off the old Czerinski block, joins the Legion, while Mom goes back to her terrorist ways. Meanwhile, Private Telk and his infamous 396 steps to sexual bliss add a whole new dimension to the term 'psychosis' as the way-out, off-the-wall wackiness continues.

Randal Telk and the 396 Steps to Sexual Bliss
Walter Knight
In a galaxy far, far away, the seventeenth installment of this perpetually preposterous military science fiction series continues Private Randal Telk’s travails as his psychosis hits full bloom. The Galactic Foreign Legion, stationed at planet New Colorado’s New Gobi Desert, goes on a manhunt to find and rescue the fair Elena, Telk’s legionnaire bride, after she is taken hostage by the Fist & Claw rebel alliance. The rebels continue to evade capture, to the consternation of the battalion commander, Colonel Joey R. Czerinski, and the rest of the Legion. Meanwhile, Private Telk falls deeper into the alternate reality of his psychotic delusions involving the super-hot Yolanda and his amazing 396 Steps to Sexual Bliss, providing world-famous science-fiction writer Private Knight with more fantasy fodder for his books. Time traveler and tank commander Captain Patton gives some sage advice about adapting and surviving, and Telk does his best to take it to heart as he tries to stay focused on finding his wife. However, it is an old Legion foe who provides the last bit of help Telk needs to push forward and rescue Elena. The question is, can Telk remain lucid long enough to get the job done before the terrorists kill Elena? America’s Galactic Foreign Legion has really gone off the reservation this time as the way-out wackiness continues to get even weirder.About the AuthorWalter Knight played football on Tucson High School’s last state championship team (1971). First Contact
Walter Knight
In a galaxy far, far away, the eighteenth installment of this perpetually preposterous military science fiction series features a visiting probe from distant Ursidae, populated by a sentient bear-like species. Tasked with forging an alliance with other sentient species for mutual galactic protection for its home world, the probe lands in the DMZ of New Colorado's New Gobi Desert. Encountering many low-life representatives of sentient species on New Colorado, the probe continues its quest to be taken to local leaders. Along the way, the probe gets involved in a robbery, drug trafficking, and finally an annual all-terrain car race, where it is dubbed the Toyota Pride. That's when Colonel Joey R. Czerinski of the United States Galactic Federation's Foreign Legion shows up, and everything immediately goes south. Even Smokey the Bear makes an appearance, trying to gain control of the Toyota Pride and its compact, powerful laser technology. When the bear-like Ursidaens finally make diplomatic contact, humans and spiders and scorpions all join in the wild, way-out party. America's Galactic Foreign Legion goes off the reservation again as the silliness continues!
