The lads at the Grim Tidings Podcast deserve a special mention. Phil and Rob have chatted with everyone who is anyone, from Anthony Ryan to Joe Abercrombie to Brian Staveley, and they’re hilarious. Easily my favorite podcast. I’m writing this in American. Can you tell it isn’t my first language?
There are a number of SFF reviewers/bloggers who have championed my books. In particular, James of MightyThorJRS, Petros of Booknest.eu, and Rita of Leona’s Blog of Shadows. Thank you!
Oh shit. I haven’t mentioned my parents yet. Hi Mom, I love you! And I promise to call soon! As I’ve said before, my parents are the reason I’m here, literally and literarily. Their love of books shaped my youth. My father and I still chat regularly about the art of writing and he still manages to teach me things. When I wanted a different perspective on Halber Tod, the Cotardist poet, I asked him to write a couple of poems for me. After grumbling that I was only asking because he was closer to death than I, he did. “Cotardist Lament” and “Untitled” are both his. Thank you! Dad, stop fucking about and let’s get Price of a Pint published. It’s a good book.
And finally, I must thank you, the readers who have demanded more Manifest Delusions. Keep demanding, it’s a world I love to play in! In particular I want to thank all the folks who took the time to contact me directly to share your reactions to my books.
You keep reading, and I’ll keep writing.
