Sweet Revenge (Sinners MC Book 1), page 14
When he ran his finger along my slit, I pulled my mouth from his and cried out. “Gunner. Oh my god, do that again.”
He groaned and ran his finger up and down my slit over and over again until he pushed his thumb up and landed on my clit. I knew about it. After all, I’d been reading a lot of romance novels and knew it should make me orgasm, should feel amazing, but it never had. Until this moment. I was shaking with the need to come, completely lost to the feeling. My body was on fire while it built up to something I was afraid would tear me apart.
“Come for me, Maggie.” He rubbed his thumb over my clit and slid a finger inside me before sliding his body off to the side of mine. He rubbed my clit slowly and pulled his finger out, making me whimper at the loss. “Hang on, baby.”
My back bowed when he slid two fingers deep inside me and rubbed them along something that made the ache more powerful. “Please,” I begged. “Please, Gunner.”
He propped himself up and leaned over, pressing his lips to mine again, and pushed his tongue into my mouth, kissing me almost desperately. Then his fingers began to move faster and faster until my body was bowing and shifting under his torture. He moved his thumb to my clit and rubbed it at the same time he rubbed the magic spot inside me, and I blew apart.
I ripped my mouth from his and moaned long and loud, enjoying the feeling of complete bliss after the torture of needing to come so badly.
“You’re so beautiful.”
I felt Gunner’s lips against my ear while I floated on the high of my first orgasm. I rolled my head to the side and looked into his beautiful blue eyes. “I never knew.” My eyebrows drew together. “I didn’t know it could be like that.”
His lips tipped in a sexy smirk, and he pushed a piece of my hair behind my ear. “I’m going to enjoy showing you all the ways I can make you come. And come even harder than that.”
My jaw dropped, and my lips parted when I whispered, “Harder?”
He leaned forward and rubbed his lips across mine. “You have no idea, baby.”
I smiled a small smile, but it dropped immediately when I found his hardness pressed tightly against my thigh. “I didn’t do anything for you.” I swallowed hard. “I mean, you’re still, well, you know…”
I dropped my eyes when I felt a blush working its way up my neck. He put a finger under my chin and lifted it until my eyes met his. “Yeah, I’m still hard.”
“Do you want me to do something?”
“I want you to do whatever you want to do.” His eyes softened. “But I don’t expect anything.”
He wouldn’t, and I knew that. He wouldn’t make me do anything I didn’t want to do, which only made me want to do it more. “I want to.”
He grinned and rolled to his back. “You’re in charge.”
I was in charge. I lifted my hand and laid it on his chest, enjoying the feeling of muscle under his shirt. I ran my hand over his chest and his stomach before stopping at the waistband of his jeans. I unsnapped them and slowly pulled down his zipper, enjoying his sharp intake of breath when the back of my fingers moved softly over his hardness. I pushed my hand down under the waistband of his underwear and felt the pressure building low in my belly again when he groaned.
Wrapping my hand around his wide girth, I moaned when I felt his weight in my hand. I never wanted to do anything before, let alone take my time and play, but now I wanted nothing more. I stroked him slowly and gently, listening to his breaths get more and more choppy. When I felt wetness at the tip of the head, I rubbed it along his length with my thumb.
He lifted his hips, and I tore my eyes away from his hard cock to look at his face. He looked like he was in pain, and I thought I’d done something wrong. “Is this right?”
His eyes snapped open, and he rolled his lips together. “I’ve dreamed about your hands on me, Maggie, so anything you want to do is right.”
“But you look like you’re in pain.”
He lifted his hand and laid it against the back of my head. “I’m just trying to let you have all the control, baby. It’s a little hard for me. But everything you’re doing feels fucking fantastic.”
I leaned over him and pressed my lips to his, moaning when he pushed his tongue between mine. I tightened my hand on him, stroking him harder while I deepened the kiss.
It only took a few more strokes before he groaned again and came hard, his warm cum making a mess of my hand and his stomach. I pulled my lips from his but stayed close while his breathing evened out.
He laid both hands on my cheeks and looked deep into my eyes. “I’m never going to let anything happen to you.”
I nodded. “I know that.”
“Do you trust me?”
I smiled. “More than I’ve ever trusted anyone.”
He pulled my lips back down to his and kissed me slowly. I pulled away and cuddled into his side, laying my head on his chest. We were still completely clothed, having only made out like teenagers probably do, but it was still the best time I’d ever had in bed with a man.
CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE
GUNNER
“How’d it go?”
I looked up to see Bear moving around the front end of a car he’d been working on. I thought back to Maggie and let the grin play around my lips. I was facing my father, our club was facing a potential war, and I was staring down a deal I wasn’t willing to make, but all of that faded to nothing when she knocked on my door.
I’d laid with her for a while, but I knew I was stalling, and Bear was waiting. He knew I’d make the call this morning, and I owed it to him to get my ass down to talk to him, so I dragged myself from Maggie, cleaned us both up, and carried her back to her room so she wouldn’t walk on the glass. I promised I’d find her in a little while, swept up the shit I’d broken, and made my way down to the garage.
“He has him.” I stopped walking and leaned my hip against the front end of the car.
“Not surprised.” He grunted. “He offer a deal?”
I bowed my head and ran my hand along the back of my neck before looking back up. “He gets the recording, we get Snake.”
Bear narrowed his eyes. “What else?”
I clenched my jaw remembering our conversation. “He wants Maggie as insurance.”
Bear’s gaze hardened. “He knows we have her.”
“He’s been watching me, figured out I was paying too much attention to her, so he started watching her. He knows. He knew she’d go to Luke’s wedding and tipped off Snake.”
Bear eyes moved around the room before they settled back on me. “What do you wanna do?”
“I already told him no deal.”
“And?”
“He threatened the club.”
“Fuck.” Bear dropped his head. “We are not strong enough to take on the Widows.” I nodded my head in agreement. “I promised these guys less violence when you and I started rebuilding this club. We wouldn’t be just taking on the local chapter if your father made the threat, we’d be taking on the whole damn organization. And then the past four years, all the work we’ve done to end them permanently, would be for nothing.”
I knew everything he was telling me, but it didn’t change anything. “He doesn’t get Maggie.”
“We need to call a meeting. This kind of decision has to go out to the members.”
I lowered my voice and repeated. “He doesn’t get Maggie.”
His gaze hardened, and I knew he was trying to think of a way to keep the club safe without sacrificing anyone, but I could tell he was coming up empty. “Call the boys to church, Gunner.”
My jaw hardened, but he was right. This decision had to go out to the brothers. It was a part of club life, a part of the club life we wanted for our club, so I had no choice.
But no one was laying a finger on Maggie.
Especially not my own father.
I set up the meeting for a time everyone could make, which wasn’t until later that night. I walked back around the car to tell Bear but noticed he wasn’t working. His attention was on the back wall of the garage, his eyes focused on nothing.
“Six tonight is the soonest I can get everyone here.”
Bear nodded and glanced up at the clock hanging on the wall. We only had to wait four hours to sit down and discuss what was potentially the future of our club. He wiped his hands on the rag he was holding and faced me.
I braced, knowing I wasn’t going to like what he wanted to say. I knew I wasn’t wrong when he started to speak. “We shouldn’t have brought her here.”
I clenched my jaw and met his stare. “She came to us.”
“We could’ve handed her off to Luke when we knew it wasn’t safe for her to go back.”
“That wouldn’t have been safe. Luke knew that,” I argued. “They would’ve gotten to her anywhere he put her, that’s why he came to us.”
His intense gaze landed on me. “You wanted her here.”
“Fuck yes, I did.” I admitted.
“But at what risk to the club, to our brothers?”
That was bullshit. He obviously needed reminding that I did not act alone. “We both agreed to bring Maggie here, brother. This was not only my choice.”
He dropped his head and scratched the back of his neck before looking my way again. “I knew you needed this, but I should’ve known better.”
“We made the decision together.”
“I’m the fucking president, Gunner!” he shouted and took a step toward me. “I made a decision to benefit my friend, my best fucking friend, and may have taken down my whole damn club in the process.”
“We needed to take a stand, Bear.” I took a step forward. “We cannot bow to the Widows anymore. We knew that. It didn’t happen like we hoped or planned, but the result will still be the same.” I put my hands on my hips. “And not long ago, I told you this wasn’t your fight. This wasn’t the club’s fight. It was mine. Now this shit is all tangled together because I underestimated my father, but it’s still not your fight if you don’t want it to be.”
He shook his head. “I wasn’t letting you go through this alone, not facing a club as big as the Widows, but I should’ve taken this to church early on, should’ve required a vote on bringing Maggie here.” He pointed at the clubhouse. “Now one woman, one damn choice has the power to end everything we’ve worked for.”
I dropped my hands and narrowed my eyes. “What the fuck happened to destroying them, to not letting anything get in our way?”
His expression hardened. “What the hell happened to our brotherhood, man?” He slapped his hand against his chest. “I did this by allowing her in, knowing that shit could backfire on us, and that’s exactly what’s happening. Now we’re holding the bait for a man who wants you dead and will bring a fucking army to take out anyone who gets in his way.”
“That’s bullshit, and you know it. We brought her here to keep her safe after she sacrificed herself by bringing us information we needed. Information that saved a lot of women and Luke’s ass from their retribution. She took a massive chance by walking her ass into our clubhouse that day, brother, the least we could’ve done was promise her protection.”
I shook my head when he held my stare. We were both taking a stand, and it seemed that put us at a crossroads. I took a few steps back. “You don’t want Maggie here, no problem, brother. But if she goes, I go.”
Bear ran his hand over his forehead. “You willing to give it all up, your brothers, your family, all of it for a woman?”
“I wouldn’t even look back, brother.” Bear leaned back against the car behind him and sighed, so I continued. “I love this club, and you know that. I love what we’re building here, but don’t ask me to choose between you and her, brother, because there is no choice for me.”
His eyes settled on mine, and I held his stare. It wasn’t long before he jerked his chin up and stood to his full height. “We meet at six.”
“And?” I had to know what to expect so I knew what I was going to need to plan.
He rubbed his hand over his beard. “And I’m not losing my fucking VP or my brother.”
I nodded, but he hadn’t seen it because he’d already turned back to the car and leaned over. “I have an errand. I’ll be back for the meeting.”
I heard him grunt while I was hauling ass to my truck at the back of the parking lot. I pulled my phone from my pocket and pressed a button before putting it to my ear. “You busy?”
“Nope, off today, so I’m just fucking around my place.”
I unlocked the truck and jumped in. “I’m coming to pick you up.”
He chuckled. “Yeah, where we goin’?”
“I’ll be there in ten. I’m in the truck.”
“You got it, boss.” I grinned when I threw my phone on the center console and started up the truck, heading a little out of town to Ritz’s apartment. He’d had his own place since he came to the club a few years ago, and I knew he liked that. He needed time to himself, always had. As far as I knew, he’d never even taken a woman there, just used a room at the clubhouse when he needed one. He’d always called his apartment his sanctuary. I decided recently that I needed and wanted the same damn thing.
Pulling up along the street, Ritz made his way over to the truck from where he stood in the parking lot talking to a woman and jumped in. “Where we headed?”
I pulled away from the curb and headed back into town. “Tomorrow’s Maggie’s birthday.”
I saw him smirk out of the corner of my eye. “Yeah, that’s right.” He leaned back in the seat. “You need me to come along so you pick out something nice?”
I glanced his way. “I already know what I’m getting her, fucker. I may need help carrying all the shit.”
He nodded, and I turned back to watch the road. His voice, no longer teasing, broke the silence. “Is what’s pissing you off what we’re meeting about tonight?”
I squeezed my hands on the steering wheel. “Yep.”
“And it’s about Maggie?” He guessed correctly.
“It’s about some shit going down.”
“That involves Maggie.” he repeated, but this time, I didn’t answer. I didn’t need to.
He stretched his long legs out in front of him. “Wanna tell me why the hell we’re birthday gift shopping if shit’s going down with her?”
I flicked on my turn signal. “Because I’m not gonna let her miss celebrating another birthday. Not because of this shit.”
“Fuck, Gunn, never thought I’d see the day when a woman rivaled the club for your attention.”
“She’s had my attention a lot longer than you know.” I admitted.
He shot me a look that I ignored, but he didn’t say anything else until I pulled into a parking lot, parked the truck, and turned off the engine. “What the hell are we doin’ here?”
I pushed open my door. “Let’s go.”
He followed me inside and up to the front counter where a cute redhead turned and faced us. “Hi, can I help you?”
Ritz moved around me and leaned against the counter. “You can help me.”
Her eyes widened and she tilted her head, but she didn’t seem all that impressed. “Charming.” She shifted her attention back to me. “Can I help you with something.”
I snorted and laughed out loud when she emphasized the word, ‘you,’ knowing it was a direct insult to Ritz. It wasn’t often Ritz got shot down, and she probably had no idea that she just gave him the green light to chase. I’d bet money he’d be fucking her before the end of the weekend.
“I’m here to see Sydney Dimarco.”
Her smile grew wider. “Oh sure, no problem. I’ll just go get her.”
I shot a smirk in Ritz’s direction after she disappeared down the long hallway. “Ouch, brother.”
He grinned. “Haven’t been challenged in a while.” He rubbed his hands together. “This is gonna be fun.”
“Hey Gunner, hey Ritz.” My head snapped toward the voice, and I watched Sydney walk to the mouth of the hallway.
“Hey, honey.” Ritz winked, and she laughed.
She shifted her attention to me. “So, what’s up? Cam said you texted that you needed to see me.”
“I did.”
She leaned forward, a smile playing around her lips. “You know you took a chance saying it like that to my husband, Gunner. He’s been texting me all morning asking if you stopped by and what you wanted.”
My grin widened into a smile. “He’s fun to fuck with.”
She shook her head, but a smile still played around her lips. “What do you need?”
“A cat.”
Her eyes widened. “A cat?”
I nodded once. “Yep.”
She looked surprised for another moment, but then cleared her expression and gestured behind her to the hallway. “Okay, follow me.”
Ritz and I followed her down a long hallway to a door with a picture of a cat carved into it. She pushed the door open and stepped in, gesturing for us to go in ahead of her before closing the door.
“Christ.” I ran my hand through my hair and looked around the room filled with cats of all colors and sizes. Some were sitting outside cage doors and cleaning themselves, others were climbing those tall things people who had cats always had, and some were watching us.
“As you can see, we have a lot of cats and kittens.” Sydney frowned. “Sadly, we always do.”
My eyes searched the room while Ritz squatted down and began petting a black cat that was rubbing against his leg. “Do you know what you’re looking for. A girl or boy? A certain age?”
I cleared my throat and looked back at Sydney when she spoke. “It’s for Maggie. Tomorrow’s her birthday.”
She smiled wide, and I grinned at the happy expression on her face. “That’s so sweet, Gunner. I’ll bet she’ll love to have something to cuddle.” She reached out and laid her hand on my arm. “Cam can’t say a whole lot, but he did tell me she’s had a hard life, and he thinks being with you guys is making a difference.”
