Seven Weeks to Forever, page 20
Thank you, Noah, I think.
Now that I’ve finished my job as a second-timer, I don’t know if I’ll be able to see or hear Noah until we meet again in The Life-After. He’ll always be here, though, watching over me.
A sunbeam streams in through the window, falling over Riley and me. The beautiful light of this new day is the last thing I see before my eyes close and I fall asleep in the place where I know I’m meant to be.

It takes a lot of people to get a book out into the world, and with a lot of people comes a lot of gratitude.
First, thank you to my parents, Rose and Rick Farwell, for always encouraging my dreams. I wouldn’t be writing if it wasn’t for you.
To my wonderful editor and longtime friend, Allana Giesbrecht, thank you for your keen eye for detail, your comments, your suggestions, your edits, and your enthusiasm.
To Kaley Stewart, thank you for being so willing to be a beta reader for this novel. To Michelle Bell and Kim Sillery, thank you for being early readers. To all three of you, thank you so much for your support of Rock Star’s Girl. It means more than I can say!
To Wayne Current and Kevin Johns, thank you for all of your kind words and writing support. Next time I’m in O-Town, we need a grad-school-esque pub-style night.
To Samantha Waranch, thank you for being a wonderful friend and for all of your writing support, too! My next novel might need a scene involving Celine Dion kitchen karaoke.
To Kaylen Davidson, thank you for being the best former-next-door-neighbor ever and a super awesome friend. Good neighbors and super awesome friends are incredibly important to the writing process, and apparently so is knowing about the wonder that is Talenti.
To Karen Gensey and Samantha Hards, thank you both for being two of my biggest writing cheerleaders and truly amazing friends.
To Michelle Krys, thank you for selecting what was then called Before and After as one of the 2013 Xmas in July pitch contest winners. (And later on, for nachos!)
To my Nine Treasures Yoga family, Sat Nam. Thank you for your friendship, your love, your inspiration, and for keeping me balanced. You are all such incredible souls.
And to everyone who read and enjoyed this novel or Rock Star’s Girl, thank you, thank you, thank you.
