“I didn’t think that at all. I’m only trying to figure out where to start off. I want to make this experience as pleasurable as possible for you, with one goal in mind.”

Allowing a moment to pass before I asked another question proved to be helpful. “Do you like it when a guy goes down on you?” The image of another man getting to taste her irked me. The feeling was irrational, but it spiraled through me just the same.

  “I don’t know.”

“What do you mean, you don’t know? You’ve never had a guy go downtown?”

“Downtown? Really?” She tilted her head before shaking it.

  “Answer the question.”

“Yes, I’ve had boyfriends go down on me, but it’s never for long. After a few…” She swallowed her next words, shifting from one foot to the other. “They didn’t like it, I guess.”

“What guy doesn’t like eating pussy?”

She never answered. But I didn’t expect her to.

Deciding talk time was over, I snatched her hands and raised them above her head, holding them both in one of mine, pinning her between me and the wall.

“If at any time you want to stop, or try something else, just tell me. Okay? No faking anything, and no going along because you think it’s what I want. You’re in complete control. I’m only here to service you.”

A nod was her only response.

With my free hand, I gripped her jaw, moving my thumb toward her mouth. I licked at the seam of her lips, and as she parted them, I dipped my thumb inside, just enough to tease us both. She closed her mouth and sucked the tip. When I moved back, keeping her hands captive above her, she groaned, which made me happy. She didn’t dislike me as much as she pretended to. Or if she did, her feelings toward me didn’t stop her from wanting me.

Snaking my arm around her, I gripped her ass. In desperate need to see it, I released her and turned her around so quickly, she had to lay her hands on the wall to keep from falling.

  “What are you—”

I was on my knees before she finished her question, reveling in the gloriousness of her plump backside. I hadn’t lied when I told her I was an ass man, and she had the best one I’d ever seen. It was bitable, spankable, and fuckable, although anal sex was off the table. Not that I would do that with her the first time anyway.

There’s only going to be this one time.

Disappointment ricocheted inside me, but I didn’t want to waste any mental energy on the thought. I needed to focus. Hell, it was hard not to, with all of this in front of my face.

I pinched her cheek right before I bared my teeth and bit her. Not hard, but enough to have her pushing back into me.

“Spread your legs. Wider.” With one hand, I grasped her waist, and with the other, I pushed on the middle of her back until she was leaning over but still able to brace herself against the wall. I wanted to say so many things. Dirty things. Questionable things. But I never uttered a word as I spread her cheeks, dipped lower, and ran my tongue over her wet center. She bucked against me, groaning at the contact. I did it again, this time using my fingers to spread her excitement.

For the next several minutes I licked, sucked, and nibbled at her like she was my last meal, and until this moment I hadn’t realized how hungry I’d been.

Olivia had made many an appearance as I’d pleasured myself over the years, but the reality of her was so much better.

She seemed to be enjoying herself, but because I couldn’t see her face, I wasn’t sure. I’d told her not to fake anything, but there was a possibility she’d gone against my wishes.

Without warning, I pulled away, even though I hated to, and stood up. My abrupt departure had her spinning around, saying something that made me want to snatch the words from the air and crush them in my fist.

“See? Guys don’t like it. Or they don’t like doing it to me.” A sexy shade of pink rose over her throat and exploded on her cheeks.

I seized her hand and pulled her toward the queen-size bed before she could wallow in any more self-doubt.

“I’m not stopping. I want you on your back. I need to see your face. And in case there’s any confusion, I love burying my tongue between your legs.”

She sucked in a breath, and I could see the excitement swirl behind her eyes, even though she tried to mask her stare with indifference.

Olivia Brighton was crumbling right in front of me, and there wasn’t a damn thing she could do to stop it.

  I’d make sure of it.

  Olivia

Luke looked to a spot on the bed, and I situated myself there. When he stared at my legs, which were pinned together, and crooked his brow, the muscles in his jaw ticked when I didn’t spread them quick enough.

There was something to this nonverbal communication. I liked it, especially since I didn’t know what was going to come flying out of his mouth. He could turn me on one second, and piss me off in the next.

There was a time when I believed I was in love with him, but after what he did, my infatuation toward him turned from hurt to anger. I told him I couldn’t stand him earlier, but that was only half true, which would be the explanation needed for why I was so turned on by him right now.

“You’re so beautiful,” he said, lowering himself on top of me, nestling his hips over mine while he rested on his forearms to hold most of his weight off me. “I bet you have guys falling at your feet, don’t you?”

“Not quite.” I didn’t mean for my tone to take on such a harsh edge. Or did I?

“I think you’re being modest. When was the last time a guy hit on you?”

  “Tonight.”

  “Funny. Besides me.”

I sighed. “I suppose it was when I met my ex.”

“How long ago was that?” He shifted his weight, and the tip of his arousal slid against my sex, and for a moment I lost my train of thought.

  “A year and a half.”

“What happened with him? Why did you break up?” His lips rested against my throat, the rumble of his voice when he spoke sending a chill through my entire body.

“I don’t want to talk about it.”

  “Okay.”

Suddenly he leaned back on his haunches, staring down at me, his focus traveling from my face to my breasts to between my legs.

“What are you doing?” I fought the urge to cover myself, the intensity of his stare suddenly making it hard to breathe or form a coherent thought.

“I’m getting prepared.” He stretched his neck from side to side, placed his right hand over his left fist, cracked his knuckles and did the same for his opposite hand. “I want you to know I’m not going to half-ass this. I’ll give it my all. I promise you.”

“I think you might be taking this a little too seriously.” What I wanted to tell him was that I appreciated his effort so far and had no doubt he’d give this task his all. But again, I kept my thoughts to myself, needing my guard in place where he was concerned. As much as possible, given our current situation, of course.

“Orgasms are serious business.” The glint in his eye was the only sign he was having fun with me right now. “What do you want to do first?”

There was no hesitation on my part when I answered. “I liked what you were doing before.”

  “Good. So did I.”

When he moved his face toward mine, I thought he was going to kiss me, but he only brushed his mouth over mine before moving toward my breasts. The scruff of his beard skated over my hardened nipple, and I sucked in a lungful of air. They’d always been sensitive, too sensitive sometimes.

He circled the peak with the tip of his tongue, closed his lips around it, and sucked gently before applying the softest pressure with his teeth. He moved to tease the other, lavishing his attention between them as he kneaded my breasts. The popping noise his mouth made when he released one of my nipples sounded amplified.

“Do you like what I’m doing?”

  I nodded.

“Do you want me to go farther south?”

  Again, I nodded.

He moved so quickly, if I hadn’t been paying attention, he would’ve startled me. With his hands on each of my legs, he spread me wide, trailing kisses along my inner thighs. He’d get close to where I wanted him to be, then move away at the last second. The third time he did it, I grabbed his hair and pulled.

His eyes veered toward mine. “Stop teasing me. We don’t have all night.”

  “Ah, but we do.”

I couldn’t argue because it wasn’t really that late, and I didn’t have to be at work until ten tomorrow, although he didn’t know my schedule.

Luke was the first guy in a long time who enjoyed going down on me, and I was anxious to see if this could be the thing that would help me.

“Please.” On our way over here, I promised myself that no matter what I wasn’t going to beg him for anything, but I was in a situation now that called for a bit of pleading.

“Say it again.” He flattened his tongue and ran it over the length of me.

I tangled more of his hair between my fingers and yanked harder than before.

“Please,” I repeated, just as he’d instructed.

“I like hearing you beg. I’m going to have to make sure you do it more often.”

I didn’t have a response, too focused on how he flicked his tongue over my clit, switching from slow to fast and back again.

When he pushed two fingers inside me, I arched my back before thrusting toward his mouth. “That feels….” My breath escaped my lungs in a rush, the rest of whatever I was going to say evaporating completely.

“Do you like it better when I do this?” He sucked hard on the most sensitive part of me. “Or this?” He licked the entire length of me while pumping his fingers into me, pressing his thumb over the bundle of nerves afterward. “Or all of it?”

“All of it.” I teetered between pushing him away and pulling him closer. The sensations were too much. What he was doing felt amazing, but unfortunately, not enough to make me climax. After another ten minutes, I tapped on his shoulders. “It’s not going to happen that way. Can we try something else?”

“Are you sure? I can do this for as long as you want.” He stretched his mouth and massaged along his jawline.

“Looks to me like your mouth is sore.”

“I’ll be good to go in one minute.” He continued to move his jaw from side to side, rubbing at the muscles.

“That’s okay. I’d like to have sex now.”

In all the time I’d spent in relationships, I’d never been as comfortable sexually with any of them as I was with Luke. At the time, I’d loved whoever I was with, but in hindsight there had always been something missing.

But with Luke, I didn’t quite know how to put my finger on it. Was it because I didn’t love him? That I still harbored anger toward him? Was that the difference?

Granted, there’d been moments when we first shed our clothes that I’d been a tad unsure or anxious or whatever the feeling was. But now, all I wanted was to instruct him on what to do. Or listen to him give me multiple choice questions relating to oral sex.

“If you’re gonna twist my arm.” He playfully smacked my thigh before hopping off the bed, striding across the room, his gait confident, sexy. I stole the opportunity to stare at his butt. It really was a work of art. “You’re staring at my ass again.”

  “So?”

“I don’t mind.” He rooted through the pockets of his jeans “Shit.”

  “What’s wrong?”

“I thought I had a condom in my wallet, but I don’t.” He turned partway to glance at me.

“What’s that look for?” I asked.

“Are you on the pill or any type of birth control?”

  “Why?”

“Because unless you have a condom in your purse, we don’t have one.”

I sat up in bed, loving the way his eyes scoured over my bare breasts. “I guess we’re done.” My voice belied my inner turmoil. What I said was so matter of fact, but inside I was punching the mattress and screaming, Why did this have to happen now?

“Unless…,” Luke dragged out the word.

“Unless what?” Realization dawned on me, and I filled in the blank before he had the opportunity to answer. “I’m not sleeping with you without a condom. God only knows how many women you’ve been with. I’m not catching something because you want to raw dog it.”

“Raw dog it? Oh, Lord.” He shook his head and smiled. “Sounds like something I would say, not you.”

“You don’t own the market on stupid slang phrases.”

He ignored my retort, rifling through his pocket again, this time to pull out his cell. He was busy typing, and scrolling, repeating the action for a full minute before speaking again.

“First off, I’ve always used a condom before, and contrary to what you might believe, my number of sexual partners probably isn’t as high as you think. Secondly, how do I know you don’t have something? I’m sure you get around.”

  “How dare—”

He looked up from his phone. “Sorry. That came out wrong. It’s not what I meant. The getting around part. You’re gorgeous and I’m sure you’ve had your opportunities to sleep with whomever you wanted. No shame.”

“If you must know, I’ve only been with three guys. All of whom I was in a relationship with. And as far as having a disease, I can assure you I don’t. After I caught my ex cheating, I got tested.” Just speaking about what happened angered me. “I have a clean bill of health.”

  “What an asshole.”

  “He was.”

Luke focused on me for several seconds but didn’t say anything. I couldn’t tell by his expression what he was thinking. Was he pitying me?

When I shifted on the bed, his attention swung back to the device in his hand.

  “What are you looking at?”

He walked toward the bed and sat on the edge, inches from me. “We have to get a physical once a year, and mine was two weeks ago.” He turned his phone toward me so I could see. “I got a clean bill of health too. And I haven’t slept with anyone since.”

“A whole two weeks? However did you survive?” I snatched the phone from him and scrolled, reading the medical jargon. Sure enough, his results were negative for all the diseases they tested for, which were extensive. “Is this something you do? Access this to show women so you don’t have to wear a condom?”

“I told you. I’ve always worn a condom. And you’re the only person to see this, besides my coach.”

I stared at the screen longer than necessary, wondering whether to forgo the latex barrier.

“You never answered me before. Are you on the pill?”

  “Yes.”

“Good. That means we can raw dog it tonight.” The corners of his eyes crinkled when he repeated the slang phrase.

We were both healthy, and I was on the pill. After a moment of biting my lip in contemplation, I handed him back his phone.

  “Okay.”

  “Okay?”

  “That’s what I said.”

The smile that lit up his face was contagious. I tried to fight my grin but lost the battle.

He tossed his phone on the bedside table and moved toward me with a hungry look in his eyes, a stare that made me ache with the need to give him anything he wanted.

“I’ve imagined this so many times, you have no idea,” he said, positioning himself over me, spreading my legs so he could nestle in between.

Instead of lashing out at him, screaming that he could’ve had me years ago but didn’t want me, I harnessed the anger and allowed it to coil deep in my belly.

“I’m already wet. I don’t need any more foreplay,” I grumbled when he kissed the column of my throat and played with my nipple.

“What if I do?” He sucked at my neck. “I don’t want to rush this.” His hand traveled from my nipple to my waist, moving lower until his fingers danced over my core.

“Luke.” I said his name in warning, harsh and demanding.

He never stopped stroking me. “I thought you liked this.”

  “I do.”

  “What’s the problem?”

I wanted to shout at him that he was the problem. He’d made me angry when he said what he did, dredging up old feelings of embarrassment and heartache. After several long moments of internal deliberation, however, all I uttered was one word.

  “Nothing.”

“No, there’s something wrong.” He removed his hand from between my legs and rested it on my hip bone, his eyes boring into me like he was trying to read my mind.

“I just want to have sex.”

“Is that it? There’s nothing else on your mind? Something you want to talk about?”

“What is this? Therapy? I thought we were going to fuck, not get all mushy.” I had no idea any of those words were going to come flying out of my mouth until they did. I supposed the anger I’d tried to suppress didn’t stay hidden long enough.

His chest expanded on an inhale, and his expression leveled right before his mouth crashed over mine. He plunged his tongue inside, his aggressiveness a result of my words, and he was giving me what I’d asked for. So why did a small piece of me long for his tender side?

Luke severed the kiss, his eyes dark and foreboding as he lifted himself onto his forearms, positioned himself at my entrance, and worked himself inside me on a stifled moan, thrusting as deep as he could and holding himself there. His head snapped back, the noise that bubbled up his throat spurring my excitement to new heights, navigating me through the bite of pain from my muscles being stretched around the girth of him.

When his head finally dropped, and his eyes landed on mine, he circled his hips, the movement precise, deliberate. An unfamiliar tingle traveled through me and I held my breath, waiting for the next wave, but when he rotated his hips again, the sensation eluded me.

“You’re so wet,” he panted. “And tight. I don’t want to move too fast, but I also want to fuck you so hard your throat will be raw from screaming.”
