I would say all three of us, including you, but I don’t want to presume. You have your work. I will have mine, this “project” of writing a novel.

  I am petrified. How do you write a novel? It’s all a mystery. Will you hold my hand— when I’m not holding a pen? Will you explain the enigmatic ways of the French for me? I will also need a steady supply of espresso, rosé, baby goats, and full body massages.
