The Ninth Life: Book Two in The Lieutenant Kane Dedicated to Death Series An anonymous phone call sends Tampa homicide lieutenant Carl Kane straight to the scene of a murdered woman, a sight far too familiar in his line of work. What’s even more familiar is the manner in which the woman’s life was taken—the slaying is identical to that of victims of a satanic lunatic named Koskinen, yet Kane had captured and put the man away years before. It seems that Koskinen has found himself an admirer, maybe a follower or, worse, someone to kill on his behalf. The first body is just the beginning. The ending holds something much worse. Editorial Review: “Lt. Carl Kane thought he’d closed the books on serial killer Larry Koskinen, who is serving a life sentence in a state mental hospital for carving up his victims—and trying to carve up Kane himself—years ago. But when Carl discovers a dead body exhibiting the killer’s same MO, he finds himself revisiting a case he wants to close the books on for good. As new victims pile up, Reinhard ratchets up the tension big-time, and his fast-paced tale and fine plotting will keep readers turning pages long into the night.” Angela M., Editor, Red Adept Editing The Dedicated to Death series (in order). 1) The First Shot 2) The Ninth Life 3) Body of Work **

Deserted: Book 6 in the Agent Rawlings Series of FBI Thrillers Bodies, strangled and dumped along the interstate, send Agent Hank Rawlings and the rest of his team to Texas. The method of homicide, as well as the locations where the bodies are found, are identical to those from a six-year-old investigation. When the wheels touch down in Dallas, the team is greeted with another body and a possible eyewitness. They quickly put together a suspect profile, a profile that leaves the agents with more questions than answers. Little does Hank, or anyone else at the Bureau, know the true level of savagery of those they seek. When the evidence puts the two sides face to face, nothing will ever be clearer. For Tampa homicide lieutenant Carl Kane, death is his life. If a single award existed for sinking himself into his work, he’d have two.But the latest crime scene he’s called to, an old abandoned factory, leaves him with more bodies than leads. Three drug dealers are found shot to death—not an uncommon sight in the least. The problem lies with the pair of middle-aged women—bound, gagged, and executed—found at the same location. Before he can sink his teeth into the initial investigation, Kane is called out to another multiple homicide. He comes up with only more questions when the second group of murders appears connected to the first. As the lieutenant tracks down the few leads, he begins to get a clearer picture of those he seeks. That picture quickly turns crystal clear when Kane finds himself face-to-face with someone that “armed and dangerous” doesn’t even begin to describe.

Mounted: Book 5 in the Agent Rawlings Series of FBI Thrillers When a package containing macabre photos of four dead women is mailed to a Louisville newspaper, the Manassas FBI office is called upon. Agents Hank Rawlings and Beth Harper are immediately dispatched to the scene. The man responsible for the murders, along with horrific acts upon the remains, has referred to himself as The Sportsman. A letter included with the photos pledges more killings to come. In Louisville, Hank and Beth work diligently to track down every hint of a lead. However, with each new piece of evidence uncovered, the investigation only raises more questions—questions they simply don’t have answers to. For the killer, the dead women, as well as his tinkering with their remains, was merely preparation for a larger goal—something he’d promised someone years before. The hunt is on. Reinhard was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He’s worked in sales in one form or another for the better part of eighteen years. Previous nine-to-fives include retail management, the auto industry, operating a small business, and running an assortment of entertainment websites that generated tens of millions of page views per month. Reinhard currently has one completed thriller series, the Lieutenant Kane Series, which follows the life on and off duty of a fictional Tampa homicide lieutenant—though if the stories were reality, I think anyone who worked law enforcement and encountered what Kane did would be turning in their resignation. Throughout the story arc of the six-book series, you see Lieutenant Kane go toe-to-toe with some of the most twisted, homicidal, and downright ruthless adversaries imaginable, all while doing his best to juggle his often-turbulent personal life. Reinhard’s current work in progress is the Hank Rawlings Series. Hank is pulled from the Lieutenant Kane Series and dropped in a new city and new position—agent in the FBI’s serial crimes homicide division. Hank’s new job description is simple: track down serial killers nationwide and bring them to justice. Hank’s work will find in unfamiliar locations and put him face to face with the most dangerous and demented people to ever walk the earth. Reinhard now resides in sunny Tampa, Florida. When not putting pen to paper, or keys to keyboard, writing thrillers, he is an avid fisherman. So naturally, moving to the fishing capital of the world was a good fit. If you’re looking for him, he can usually be found on a boat, canoe, or casting from shore.
