Sophie doesn't like to waste too much time sleeping. But the problem is that, Sophie is sent to bed very early each night, even though she is 13 years old! Then, Sophie finds herself skinning down the eucalyptus tree outside her window one night, and so, begins her night adventures.Daniel is a teen age boy who often gets himself into trouble out running the cops with his car. For a good reason. Wanting out of his parents house, he looks for ways to start living on his own. On his new path he finds himself a good job. Katie, one of the employees there, catches his eye. She is a stubborn and hard-headed girl who wants nothing to do with him. Will his efforts to try to befriend her add up to nothing? Will Daniel have someone at his side when he comes face to face with the most unexpected situation- a fight for his life?

We meet this group of friends at the farewell; it is the last night before school is officially over. The friends then scatter, as they pursue their goals and live their lives, following many and varied roads. Then, many years later, there is a school reunion. The friends go off into the world, making their separate way through life, to pursue their dreams and hopes. But some of our friends have secrets, held close for years, and these secrets may haunt them for years to come. Others look around and years later, find that they are on a life pathway that surprises or disappoints them. Then, years later, there is a reunion.
