Legend of the Mer

Legend of the Mer

Angel Leya

Young Adult / Paranormal / Fantasy

Ever wonder if mermaids are real?Skye sure believes. She is one, and she's recounting their history for the young mermaids. It's a history full of heartache and bad choices, in which a tribe--once holders of the sea's secrets--become a part of her.Mermaids are real, but what Skye wants to know is if humans are everything she's dreamed of.At the age of sixty five Joe is bored with his life. To the casual eye, Joe has led a rather successful life. He’s held down a steady job for most of it, had a good marriage that produced three well-adjusted off spring and generally led a life most men would envy. With his children out of the house raising their own kids and his wife in the grave, Joe no longer finds anything compelling about his life and has decided to take the matter into his own hands. He’s going to end things on his terms instead of growing older and more bored with his life. He’s ready to take the last train out of this world but while lying on the train track he hears the sounds of a young lady in distress. He abandons the tracks and his final journey for a little bit longer to help her out and in the process changes the course of his life and death. As he approaches the screaming girl he witnesses a strange sight. Dancing around her is a figure in black, corralling her up against a wall. When he reaches out to touch the stranger it collapses, leaving behind a pile of clothes and rats. .Unable to come to terms with what he’s seen, the next day Joe sets off to find out what really happened the night before. Where the stranger was on the tracks he finds an employee ID badge belonging to someone from LD Enterprises. Finally fully engaged in his life and convinced that if he could just track down the person the badge belonged to he could make sense of what happened the night before, Joe sets off to find the mystery person. When he starts searching for the company itself, however, all he finds are more questions.

Shifter Academy- an Impish Christmas

Shifter Academy- an Impish Christmas

Angel Leya

Young Adult / Paranormal / Fantasy

This Year, Kenzie's going to make Christmas great again. ;)Kenzie is finally at the Shifter Academy, living her dreams, dating her super hot (and super granola) cat shifter boyfriend. After all the drama of last year, making this Christmas the best ever should be a piece of pie (make that a large slice with extra whipped cream). Right?Wrong. When Kenzie's Christmas plans meet with heavy reluctance, Kenzie's left holding the decorations all by herself. Oh, except for the impossibly adorable mer guy, who seemed to be on team make-Kenzie's-life-miserable, now wants to help. What's with that?Add to the mix a dash of magic gone awry, and now Kenzie's chasing a magical imp that's tearing down all her attempts to jollify the joint. She'll need to track down the imp, undo the errant magic, and get everyone in the Christmas spirit before time runs out. Fail, and she could be expelled—or worse, the school might just come crumbling down. Again. This story is a part of the Shifter Academy world, and occurs about one year following the USA Today bestselling Siren Prophecy series, but can be read as a stand-alone novel. Perfect for fans of heartwarming Christmas shenanigans, like The Grinch, and sweet holiday romantic comedies.
