In the days that follow, a small oddly tempered doll called The Gruff will teach Alex how to say no, how to sharpen his claws and how to kill a man. And a triangle of deception will leave Alex wondering who the real victim is.Based on real events, Alex and The Gruff explores the philosophical theme of the effect of the domestication of children through mannerly learning and poses the premise that 'politeness is the discipline of abuse' and is a horror story that will appeal to readers of Stephen King’s trepid subtlety, and to those who thirst for Clive Barker styled blood curdling crescendos.

Lovecraft, an author who Stephen King has called, “the twentieth century's greatest practitioner of the classic horror tale." Building on Lovecraft’s oft used central theme of forbidden knowledge, The Bequest, weaves a spine tingling tale of: powerful deities, ancient rites, unquenchable evil, and a man at the mercy of a vast and empty cosmos. The book delivers suspense with a satisfying punch and is written in a first person narrative style that feels instantly familiar to Lovecraft fans. The Boy from the County Hell

The Boy from the County Hell

Satire / Absurdism / Dystopian

The end of the world is nigh and only one man can stop the coming apocalypse. Shane MacGowan has the ultimate weapon; the greatest song ever written and to save the world, his mammy and Teresa he just has to remember how it feckin goes. This is a collection of over 250 poems that altogether seeks to reflect man as both the poet and the actor who handles the helm of his own affairs, on a timed cruise, down his very own banked personal river. Using his abilities to compose and steer his poetic story, faring only as suitably as his capabilities and fate enables him.The essence of poetry is in its use of eloquent apt words to convey the poet’s exact thoughts, as they are felt or experienced by him. Like it is the actor’s ability to apply specific skills to portray a scripted character reveals a story, it is likewise the poet's grant to create the content and set the beauty of the words. If the soul is scripted, if the mind can think, if the heart does feel and the body is specific; then every individual distinctively roams on a course throughout their lives that can be manipulated to fit their own different experience, but not actually change it. For the poet mans the helm, and the cruise is his composed poem.

Ten years after the blackout, a group of humans struggling to fight off a conscious famine, try to re-learn empathy to save humanity in an old industrial assembly plant. In 3 days; feigned affection, deception and a black heart will take them to the repression of their own fears in search of unconditional love.A Rising Fall is the first book in a dystopian trilogy entitled City:aliteraryconcerto. The story starts ten years after the blackout as a group of humans struggling to fight off a conscious famine, try to re-learn empathy to save humanity in an old industrial assembly plant. In 3 days; feigned affection, deception and a black heart will take them further into the repression of their own fears in search of unconditional love. Following the theme of a concerto, City is divided into three parts; A Rising Fall, Utopian Circus and I, Cannibal. Each book is then divided into three pieces and with A Rising Fall, each piece refers to a day; the three days leading to the fall of their city. The trilogy illustrates the human emancipation from three states of love; Eros, Philos and Agape as each is torn apart under the guise of well intention as humanity; now void of identity in the wake of a century of dehumanising dependence and necessity upon industry and digital technology; has separated itself from the labour of its existence, aborting empathy and setting in place the death of mother nature. Yet, on the verge of extinction; mankind presses on; towards salvation; towards the city of light and sound; towards New Utopia

An unconventional take on unconditional love. What does god have to do with it?Sometimes wierd literature is at its best when it can create a fantastic visual image in your head, and often, the form of poetry is best suited to that idea. Here is an attempt at creating a few lovecraftian images; a short poem concerning shoggoths, and their horrific drawling shudders.Inspired by the poetry of H.P.Lovecraft and Clark Ashton Smith.Previously published in the magazine, "Cthulhu Cultus", #12.

While on a third path, The Woman will unravel, through conscious delusion, the true extent of her repressions and her loveless abandon as a young girl; Safrine, through childish rhyme, is challenged by a creepy old man into a game of coloured cubes to save her two companions from the effect of The Famine.
