  “You,” she whispered.

I circled my finger around her clit. “Say my name,” I growled. “I want you to know just who is making you feel like this.”

  “Ice,” she gasped.

“Louder,” I growled. “Scream it!” I pulled out, the walls of her pussy milking me, and I slammed back inside her. My fingers pinched her clit, and my name ripped from her lips.

“Ice!” she screamed. “Oh my god,” she moaned.

Her orgasm crashed over her, and her pussy squeezed me so tight that I couldn’t hold back any longer.

My dick throbbed, and pumped my cum inside her sweet, tight pussy.

  “Oh god,” she gasped. “Oh!’

I thrust one last time and collapsed on top of her. Her breathing was labored, and her heartbeat rapidly against me.

  Jesus Christ.

That right there was what pornos promised horny thirteen-year-olds.

Hannah’s hand moved drawing circles on my back, and her soft breath blew against my ear.

“That was totally worth waiting five years for,” she whispered. “I can’t even remember what my first time was like anymore.”

“Darlin’, that was so amazing. I can’t remember anything before five minutes ago either.” And that was saying a lot for me because it had not been five years since the last time I had sex.

“Born again virgin, too?” Hannah chuckled.

“Something like that, darlin’.” I gathered her in my arms and rolled us over until she was tucked into my side and pulled the covers over us.

“Are we going back to sleep?” she asked. She laid her head on my shoulder and smothered a yawn with her hand.

“I’m pretty sure my legs aren’t going to work right now, darlin’. It’s probably best if we relax.” I glanced at the clock on her bedside table. “Besides, it’s only half-past six.”

“We are totally taking a nap. I don’t need to be at the office till ten.” She closed her eyes and laid her hand on my chest.

“Round two when we wake up?” I asked.

She cracked one eye open and smiled. “You got it.”

  Chapter Thirteen

  Hannah

  “Hannah!”

I stopped and turned to see Nessa walk out of the building.

“Hey,” I called. “Do you need something?”

She nodded and hurried over to me. “I wanted to see what you were up to this weekend.”

This weekend? I hoped to spend most of it with Ice, but if Nessa wanted to hang out, I could make time for her, too. “Not much. Did you have something you wanted to do?”

“Well, yeah. I need to go out of town, and I was wondering if you could swing by and water my plants.”

She wanted me to water her plants. Jesus. “Sure, I can swing by whenever you need me to. It’s not like I need to take them for a walk or anything, right?” I joked.

“No, no. Nothing like that at all. Just give them a good drink of water for me on Saturday. Anytime is fine.”

“Are you going away for work?” I asked.

Nessa shrugged. “Sort of. I am going to check in with a client, but I figure if I’m up the mountain, I might as well take the weekend and enjoy myself.”

“Oh, you’re going up the mountain,” I smiled. “Gonna get some shopping in?”

Nessa grinned. “That’s the plan. I need a bit of time just for myself.”

Ice’s reminder I needed to take time for myself before others echoed in my head. Nessa had no problem doing that, but it was a struggle for me. “Well, have fun, and I’ll make sure to stop over to your condo on Saturday.”

Nessa reached out and squeezed my arm. “Thanks, Hann. I’ll see you on Monday.” She hurried over to her car and drove off.

I slipped into my car and started the engine.

Ice had dropped me off at work this morning and had promised he would bring my car over. I had told him I could just take either mom or dad’s old cars, but he refused. It had felt kind of nice to pull up to work and get a hot, scorching kiss from Ice before I headed in.

I connected my phone to the charger and saw a text from Ice.

Head over to the clubhouse after work if you can.

Oh. Could Mercury already have gotten an answer from Blanche Halo?

  Everything okay?

I set the phone down and reversed out of my parking spot. I was pulling out of the parking lot when Ice messaged back.

  Just come when you can.

I frowned at the message. That didn’t sound either good or bad. Hell, it also didn’t sound very friendly.

  I miss you.

A smile spread across my lips, and my cheeks heated. “Now that sounds friendly,” I whispered. I pulled up to a red light and typed out a quick reply. On my way. Miss you too.

The clubhouse was on the other end of Golden, and since it was rush hour, it took me almost thirty minutes to get there.

Ice was sitting out front with Mercury, and another guy who I thought was Rooster. Yesterday in church, things had gone by in a blur, and I hadn’t quite caught all of the guy’s names.

Mercury walked back into the clubhouse when I opened my door.

I wasn’t sure if that was a good sign or not.

  “Hey,” I called to Ice.

He took a drag off his cigarette and then tossed the butt to the ground. He stepped on it with his heel and stepped toward me.

  “Traffic bad?” he asked.

I tipped my head back and nodded. “Golden is not a tiny town anymore.” When I was growing up, Golden was a budding town with potential but still had a lot of growing. “It’s crazy how many people live here now.”

Ice leaned down and pressed a kiss to my lips. I laid my palm on his chest and leaned into him. “How was your day?” he whispered against my lips.

“Short,” I sighed. “I guess that’s what happens when I show up two hours late.”

Ice smiled. “Next time, we’ll set the alarm.”

“You know we woke up in time, Ice. It’s the fact you needed to have rounds two and three before we dressed that made me late for work.”

Ice shrugged. “I can’t resist a good thing, darlin’.”

And neither could I. If I had pressed the issue of needing to be at work, I knew Ice would have made it happen. I hadn’t, and that was why my day had felt so short. “Next time, we’ll just need to wake up extra early.”

“You think you can kiss her later?”

My eyes snapped to Mercury, who was holding the door to the clubhouse open.

  “We’re coming,” Ice called.

Mercury mumbled under his breath and closed the door.

  “Is something wrong?” I asked.

Ice shook his head. “No, things are actually good, darlin’.”

  “With Blanche?” I guessed.

Ice pressed one last kiss to my lips and threaded his fingers with mine. “Yeah. We’re waiting to have church until you got here.”

“Ice,” I scolded. “You should have told me that. I would have gotten here sooner.”

“You just told me there was traffic, Hannah. Just how would you have gotten here sooner?”

I wrinkled my nose. “I don’t know, but I would have figured something out.”

“Maybe you could have taken your dad’s chopper.”

I laughed and shook my head. “Daddy was the only one who knew how to fly, and I wasn’t a fan of it. I much prefer having my feet on the ground.”

Ice led me into the clubhouse and into church.

“You two can sit this time,” Mercury drawled.

Ice sat down next to Mercury, and I sat next to Ice.

I couldn’t remember the name of the guy sitting next to me, but I did remember that he had voted in favor of the VII Knights helping me. “Hi,” I mumbled when he glanced at me.

  “Rooster,” he offered.

“Hello, Mr. Rooster.” I had met all of these guys yesterday and drank with them, but I couldn’t keep names straight with whose face they belonged to.

Ice choked on a laughed, and Rooster smirked. “You can drop the mister, doll.”

Well, I tried. I glanced around the rest of the table and tried to make eye contact with each of them. They were putting their lives on the line for me, and the least I could do was say hi to them.

“Do you think I could get a seating chart with everyone’s names?” I whispered to Ice.

His shoulders shook, and he closed his eyes.

“Am I being funny?” I whispered.

“Did she just ask for a seating chart?” a guy across the table drawled. Munch? Mount? Ugh, I couldn’t remember.

My cheeks heated, and I held my hand out to him. “Um, yes I did, but only because I would like to get to know each of you and know your names.”

The guy shook my hand. “Moore.”

“More what? You want to know more of why I want to know your names?” I chirped. Maybe the guys were interested in getting to know me, too.

“That’s my name, sweet cheeks.” Moore smiled. “You are a funny one.”

I wasn’t trying to be funny. I was seriously trying to know their names.

“Christ,” Mercury muttered. He pointed to the guy next to me. “Rooster,” his finger moved with each name, “Cuddy, North, Riff, Raff, Buck, Crow, Riggs, and Moore.”

“Hi, hi, hi,” I sang. “Would you happen to have a pen so I could write all of those names down? I would have brought my own, but I didn’t know we were going to be in the church.”

“Church,” Rooster laughed. “It’s just church.”

I nodded and tapped my finger to my head. “That I will remember.” Hopefully.

“Let’s just get this shit over with.” Mercury leaned forward and rested his hands on the table. “I was able to get in touch with Blanche.”

“I bet that was easy,” Buck sneered. “You know she’s just been waiting for you to come crawling back.”

Mercury flipped off Buck. “You can wash my bike this week, fucker.”

Buck threw his hand up. “Because I call them as I see them?”

“Because you’re a dick, brother,” Raff laughed.

I didn’t care about Buck being a dick. I wanted to hear more about the meeting with Blanche Halo. “When is it?” I asked. “I’m pretty much free any day except for Wednesday.”

Mercury glanced at me. “In this type of situation, doll, you don’t really tell the drug dealer she needs to work around your schedule. You meet when she wants to meet.”

I nodded and tapped the tip of my nose. “Another thing I would write down if I had a pen.”

A rumbled of laughter drifted through the room.

“She said we can meet Tuesday,” Mercury continued.

Rooster elbowed me. “You won’t need to rearrange your schedule, doll.”

I knew he was teasing me, but he was right. “Yay.” I smiled wide.

  “Fucking hell,” Mercury muttered.

“Does she know why you want to meet?” Riggs asked.

Mercury shook his head. “Not exactly. I told her I had run into some of her business partners and wanted to discuss a few things.”

“And she fell for that?” Buck asked. “I figured she would have told you to shove it where the sun didn’t shine.”

“She did, but then she also agreed to meet because she was intrigued by the fact I wanted to meet.” Mercury shrugged. “It worked out in the end.”

  “Who’s all going?” Ice asked.

Mercury glared at Ice. “Since she’s your chick, your ass better be there.”

Ice nodded. “Figured that. The rest of the club coming?”

Mercury shook his head. “I don’t think that will be necessary. Even if Blanche doesn’t agree to release Mitcham Metals from whatever agreement they have, this shouldn’t become a bigger problem. She says no, and that will have to be accepted.”

“But she can’t say no,” I interrupted. “We need to convince her that she doesn’t need the deal with Mitcham.”

“You can tell her that, princess, but then you better be able to back that up with a couple million dollars,” Raff laughed.

I planned on doing that. But I was a little hopeful that I could maybe appeal to her as one businesswoman to another. Granted, Blanche Halo and I were in complete opposite businesses and sides of the law, but we were both businesswomen in the end.

“So, you’ll have your answer on Tuesday, and then everything goes back to normal.” Buck shrugged. “And we get nothing out of this deal.”

Oh. Oh my. I hadn’t even thought about paying the VII Knights. I’m an idiot. “Free fabrication for the next two years,” I blurted.

Mercury sat back and stared at me. “Come again?”

“Uh, well,” I stammered. “In exchange for you helping me and arranging this meeting with Blanche, Mitcham Metals will be more than happy to give you free fabrication for two years. Whatever you need, it’s yours at no cost.”

“You can do that?” Rooster asked.

Well, I hadn’t ever before, but I figured it was fine as long as Blanche Halo went away. I just thought Nessa would pay a hell of a lot more than a couple hundred grand in metal to get out of the mess she was in. “I can, and I will.”

“You need to go over that with the Ice Princess?” Mercury asked.

I shook my head and folded my hands in my lap. “Of course not. Nessa will be more than willing to do that.” I think. And if she weren’t okay with it, I would just pay for it with my own money. Along with whatever I would need to pay Blanche.

If this all turned out the way I wanted it to, the next couple of years, I might be stretched a little thin.

“Now I’m more on board with this,” Raff muttered. “I vote aye, for two years’ worth of free fabrication.”

A chorus of ayes went up.

Mercury chuckled. “I didn’t have to call for an official vote.”

I took a deep breath a plaster a smile on my face. “I’m so glad that was decided.”

Ice put his arm around my shoulders and pressed his mouth to my ear. “You’re looking a little pale, darlin’.”

I giggled and patted his arm. “Nothing a second job and winning the lottery won’t fix.”

  Chapter Fourteen

  Ice

  “Where did she go?”

Hannah opened the drawer and grabbed a wooden spoon. “Up the mountain for a meeting, and then she was going to do some shopping.”

  “Does she do that often?”

Hannah glanced at me over her shoulder. “Is there a reason why you’re taking an interest in my sister?”

I stretched my legs out in front of me and wrapped my hand around my beer. “Because you are not out of the woods with her yet. Sure, you’ve got the meeting set up with Blanche, but before then, you have to explain everything to Nessa and make sure she is there at the meeting.”

Hannah wrinkled her nose and turned back to the stove. “I don’t think I need tell her, Ice. At least not before I meet with Blanche.”

I shook my head. “I can see that you are still putting your sister before yourself.”

“Stop it,” she laughed. “I’m not putting Nessa before myself. I just don’t know why she needs to be involved. I think the more people who go to the meeting, the less likely Blanche will listen.”

  “Hannah,” I growled.

She stopped stirring the sauce and turned on her heel. “What, Ice? Did you ever think that I actually wanted to do this on my own? Why can’t I be the one who fixes this mess?”

“Because it is not your mess to fix,” I reasoned.

“And? I saw Nessa trying to fix it the day I walked in on her having that argument with Marcus. He told her there was no way for her to get out of it.” She plated a finger to her chest. “I was the one who found you and figured out how to get a meeting with Blanche Halo. I did that without Nessa’s help.”

  I suddenly got it.

Hannah wasn’t doing this because she didn’t want Nessa to have to deal with it; she was doing it to prove to Nessa that she could handle this. “Why is it that Nessa was given the business?” I asked.

“She was groomed to take over Mitcham Metals. It only made sense that she would be given the company.”

“And you got stuck in accounting.”

She wrinkled her nose. “I’m hardly stuck. I make six figures a year, and I have a cushy job.”

“You remember when I told you that you never needed to lie to me or act differently with me?”

  Hannah sighed. “Yes.”

“Keep that in mind when you answer this next question.” Hannah stared at me expectantly. “Are you upset your parents didn’t give you any of Mitcham Metals?”

Hannah pursed her lips and looked side to side. “Honestly, yes, but not for the reason that you think. It isn’t about the money or anything like that. It just has more to do with the fact that my dad obviously didn’t think that I had it in me to be more than an accountant.”

“Did he ever tell you that?” I asked.

She folded her arms over her chest. “Well, no, but I knew he felt that way because he never showed me anything other than the accounting department.”

“Did you ask to learn more than that?”

  “Well,” Hannah huffed. “No.”

“Darlin’,” I called. “Why don’t you talk to Nessa? See if you could maybe buy into the company or something? You could stay the head of accounting but also take over some of her responsibilities.”

  “Because, well, because…” she stammered.

“Because you don’t think that is what your dad wanted.”

  “Yes.”

“He’s gone, Hannah. I know that’s something you will never be able to get over, but you have to know that he didn’t think Nessa was better than you. He saw you were great with numbers and that Nessa was good at managing and delegating.” And being an Ice Princess, which came in handy with dealing with employees and customers. “He saw who you each were and gave you jobs you would each excel at. I don’t think he was trying to pigeonhole either of you into certain jobs.”
