Alexei sank his teeth into Nikos’ bare back and drew blood in as he spurted semen out. His deep pushes grew shallower and the ragged sounds of his breathing grew more unsteady, until he collapsed over Nikos and rolled them both back to the ground.
Nikos knew he had never been happier, not once, and that this was only the beginning. He wrapped his arms around the monster, the Nightling, his mentor and his friend, and clung as hard as he could. “Stay with me, Alexei. For always. That’s all I ask.”
“As if I’d ever let go, Nikos.” Alexei turned Nikos’ head so that they met each other’s gaze, eye to eye. “This isn’t the end of the journey through time and space, you know. It’s only the beginning. Lucky us, though. We have the rest of our very, very long lives to figure out how the story goes. I’ll stick with you if you stick with me.”
“I give you my oath,” Nikos swore, and kissed his Alexei.
The future belonged to them, and Alexei would lead him there.
He couldn’t wait.
