We took a seat on the couches in the living room. She seemed happy today, I haven't seen her happy often- or seen her fully dressed often either.

"Yeah sure mom, what's up?" I smiled. Feeling as though I was the luckiest girl in the world.

"So yesterday I went to the doctor to get a checkup and I found out that I'm three months pregnant! "She squelch excitedly, "you're going to have a little brother!!"

Shock. That's all I felt at that very moment. I was truly shocked. It wasn't hard to assume that she'd end up pregnant one time or another. I mean, with all the things she did with dad, it was bound to happen.

"I'm going to have a little brother?" I asked confused, my brain not registering the simple fact. I just hope that when he's born, they won't treat him the way they did with me.

"Yes!" She smiled happily as the front door opened and walked in.

"Did you tell her?" Dad asked, a smile on his face. I'd never had a chance to look at Dad's face up close. He was pretty handsome for a forty year old man.

"Yes! We're thinking of naming him Noah." They smiled. I almost choked on air. What?

"Mom," I laughed slightly, " Noah's my boyfriends name." I smiled.

"Oh, I knew I heard that name from somewhere!" She laughed, "I guess it would be pretty weird if your brother had the same name as your boyfriend huh?" She laughed as I grinned.

  "Yeah."

"Or Luke!" Dad chimed in giving mom an I win look. I laughed, they were rather cute.

"So when is your graduation?" She asked.

"Well I have a presentation due tomorrow with Noah and then we graduate on Saturday. I smiled excited.

"Wow! She's grown up fast," my dad said as he took a seat beside me on the couch, holding his arms open for me to hug. I hugged him, tears starting to rise to my eyes. This is the first time in my life that I've ever hugged my dad.

"Aw she's crying." Mom said. "My beautiful daisy," Mom laughed.

"Just don't do that to Luke." I laughed though sobbing tears on my face as mom reached over to join the hug.

  “Do what?”

“Call him a million random names.” I choked as mom gave me a pitiful look that seemed like she was ready to argue with me on this again.

"I'll make sure she won't." Dad assured, patting my back. It's moments like this that I realize that my life is pretty amazing.

  Today has just been perfect.

  Chapter 41: Forever True

Noah and I stood in front of our history class. Curious eyes looking at us waiting for our presentation. It was like the entire school was now interested in our lives, like we were their sole purpose of attending Hillview High School. I was going first since the first ten slides were about Noah and the last ten were about me.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, this is Noah," everyone started clapping, "and here are some facts about Noah." I grinned as we began the presentation. The first slide was a picture of him, he looked absolutely stunning.

"Noah's favorite foods are pumpkin pie and mashed potatoes, which means his favorite holiday is thanksgiving and his favorite season is the fall." A small laughter was heard around the class.

All the girls were very attentive at finding out more about the mysterious hot guy who never seems to talk to them.

The next slide popped up, "He has a thing for the color red," small chuckles once again, "and he loves dogs but doesn't have one."

"Noah is six feet and two inches tall. He's got blonde hair and green eyes," I felt the whole gray eye thing was just between us, our little secret. I smiled at him as I saw him staring back at me. Everyone could see us. Ultimately, this project was a ruse to trick the senior class into getting to know each other. It was a pass or no pass assignment that seemed totally worthless.

A couple minutes into the presentation and I was done describing all the amazing things about Noah. He'd given me permission to speak about his life. And now the whole class knew that he was born in New Orleans and his biological mom had given him up for adoption. Then his current parents adopted him raised his beautifully into the well mannered and patient boy he was today.

He had never mentioned wanting to meet his real parents, and I didn't think he cared anymore. But if he ever plans on it, I'll be there for him. Like he has been for me. After my part ended, everyone clapped as I took a seat.

"This annoyingly amazing, beautiful girl that I've gotten the opportunity of getting to meet and share a few weeks with has been the spotlight of my life lately. And to show that, I'd like to start off saying that Pure Bliss, isn't that a lovely name, is one of the most complicated, and the most perfect girl I've ever met. Aside from my mother." He added that last part as everyone began laughing and fawning over what he'd just said. He was pretty smooth with his words, I've got to admit. He flashed a smile to the class as I felt my heart almost melt.

The next slide was the picture of my family in the living room. I hadn't realized he'd taken a picture of it. I smiled, remembering my conversation with them yesterday. Luke! My soon to be little brother.

"Pure was born in California and moved to Florida just a couple months ago. She hasn't exactly had the chance to be welcomed here, but now that we're three days away from graduation, I'd just like to say that I can't wait to move to California with her." An applause filled the room as I looked around. Everyone locked their eyes with Noah's mesmerizing voice.

I grinned, I knew I was blushing as the next slide came up.

There was a picture of Noah and I kissing. How, when, where? Who took that picture. We were standing in front of the school, his arms around me with a little box in one of them. It looked like someone had taken it in the morning. I was wearing a red shirt and black jeans. I remembered that day, a giant smile on my face as the day pierced my mind.

Morning beautiful. I'll be outside your house in twenty minutes.

He’d texted me that morning which was oddly sweet of him. Noah hadn't texted me much since we started dating he was more of an introverted type of guy, and because his parents had given him a flip phone to make sure he would stay on task at school and not play games on his phone all the time. It must've taken him at least five minutes to write all that.

I immediately got out of bed and changed into a red shirt, knowing it was his favorite color. And some matching black jeans. It was a basic look but I liked it.

I walked downstairs to see my parents sleeping on the couches.

I walked quietly into the kitchen and made myself a nutella-toast sandwich. It was delicious. I made one for Noah too, in case he was hungry. After ten minutes, a knock on the door led the path for me to go and open it.

He had that hot look on his face, as usual but more specifically the one where the guy is about to look up and his eyes are about to look at you sending shivers throughout my entire body. I grinned widely as I stepped outside and handed him the plate with the nutella sandwich.

"Thanks." He kissed my cheek as we headed to his black car. His green eyes made my heart melt and his gorgeous face made it pump faster.

I was caught staring at him, but he didn't seem to mind. He was wearing a black sweater with a gray leather jacket on top. He looked really good, if I do say so. I'd have to be blind to not see how perfect he was. Actually I bet if I was blind I'd still how how beautiful he is.

We arrived at school and he parked his car. I got out and walked over to him as he was pulling something out of the little slot in his car. He got out and reached for my hand as we walked to school.

He stopped me in front of the door and pulled out a little box. I looked at it for a few seconds, then looked at him.

"I um," he cleared his throat, he looked nervous, " I wanted you to have this. It was my grandma's bracelet and . . ." He began trying to explain the sudden gift. I looked him in his amazing eyes, wondering why God hadn't created more guys like him.

I stared at him amused a bit at his nervousness as I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him close. He seemed shocked at first until I felt a smile on his lips as he began kissing me back. His arms wrapped around me, pulling me closer. My body felt on fire, and I wanted it to keep burning. He made me feel things I've never felt before. I felt frogs bouncing around in my belly just at the thought of him. What I felt for this man was more than just a simple crush.

But then again, the little snake that was Christian Anderson entered my mind and the fact that we had fallen in this illusion of love so quickly suddenly struck me. Love at first sight was a ruse, a pathetic ruse that only those who have experienced it can say. Because there is no way to love someone after looking at them once, you may lust after them, but love is a much stronger connection and I had no idea what it felt like, but I figured over time it would show it’s gorgeous face to Noah and I. As for now, I really, really liked him.

I liked how he had stood by me and helped me so many times. The crazy guy from the bar and twice with Christian, he had been my hero and I was grateful.

With Christian, it seemed that all he wanted was a physical attachment from anyone and at that particular time, I was most likely the only option around. But Noah and I have barely kissed thrice since we've started dating. Either he's taking things really slow or he just wants to show me that he doesn't just want me for only a physical purpose, but much more. I've grown fond of him, a stronger emotional attachment growing toward him every day.

Ever since that night at the bar when he'd saved me, those fights he'd fought over Christian for me, the home and family he'd shared with me, and most importantly the fact that he'd always been there for me. No matter how awful I felt, no matter the tears I'd cried, he'd been extremely considerate. And I love all he's done. The feelings he's unlocked in my heart and everything he's done has made me feel like I've never felt before. He is perfect. And all I felt toward this perfect man was love. Pure unconditional love.

I took the bracelet with a warm smile on my face as I hugged him now, looking at it on my wrist as my arms wrapped around him and I smiled.

"Pure's favorite food is any type of seafood. Her favorite color is blue and her boyfriend is me." He smirked cockily as a few people laughed. I immediately turned red and looked anywhere but at the presenter. I don't usually blush this much.

He turned to the next slide which was a video he'd recorded and clicked play.

I watched it intently as a video playback of me in the hospital began playing. If Noah was a spy, he'd be a pretty darn good one because I don't remember any of this video. Maybe I was on drugged at the hospital at the time. Although I don't know why they'd drag me. A little kid stood beside me.

"Hi! I'm Kylie and I'm Noah's little sister but I live with another adoptive family. And he told me that the girl he likes is in the hospital so I made my parents come and see her today! She's really pretty." The little girl had the camera facing her for a couple seconds, she had steel gray eyes that looked a lot like Noah's and her dark blonde hair was adorably placed in and ponytail. I didn't know Noah had a sister. She looked about seven years old as she hopped up on the seat to look at me. "She's sleeping now but I'll wake her up." The little girl said, turning the camera toward me as she began poking me.

I laughed quietly, I couldn't remember any of this.

In the video I woke up and stupidly asked, "Am I dead?" I heard laughter throughout the classroom at my confused face on the screen.

"Kylie," Noah's mesmerizing voice played in the video as his little sister turned the camera toward him, "turn it off, leave her alone she's asleep." He said.

"I'm sorry Noah," Kylie's cute voice said as the camera shifted position to the ceiling, "She's really pretty. " I heard her say distinctly as it seemed she was walking away from the camera.

  The video ended.

I smiled brightly. I need to meet this Kylie someday.

The next few slides earned a bunch of "wows" as a picture of my house showed up. It looked like it was during the day of the beach party and I'd stood at the door in my pajamas looking at the sky.

He'd explained that I lived in a 'castle' in the 'Orange Valleys’ of Florida. Which is his way of saying that I live in rich kid central. Everyone chuckled. Knowing what he meant.

"That was amazing! I hope you guys win the scholarships, you two deserve it." Someone I hadn't gotten the pleasure of knowing said as Noah sat down after the applause from the end of our presentation. I'd say we did pretty good.

In a black and white world, Noah had colored my vision. He made everything so perfect and I adored him for it. As the school day progressed and lunch time arrived, we began sitting alone, away from everyone else. Even CJ began sitting with his other friends.

We'd talk for hours on end any opportunity we could get, getting to know each other better.

  Noah was the perfect boyfriend.

"So my parents haven't officially met you as my girlfriend. And I was wondering if you'd like to come over tonight? We asked Kylie's parents if she could come too." He grinned cheekily as he placed his hand over mine.

"Yeah of course. I didn't know you had a sister."

"Oh, yeah I thought I was an only child until a few weeks ago I'd gotten a call from a little girl asking me if my name was Noah. I thought it was some sort of joke but then she started talking to me and told me she was my sister. It was a pretty odd experience, and she's a very smart girl. I guess my real parents had her a few years ago and couldn't afford a kid so they gave her up for adoption too." I frowned as the words escaped his lips. “It’s sad really.”

"If she's as perfect as you are, I can't wait to meet her." I smiled widely, thinking over what I should wear tonight. I'd met his parents before but now I felt a bit more pressured to look nice. Since I was now Noah's girlfriend.

The bell rang signaling the end of lunch as Noah began to walk me to my class. It was cute of him to do but I'd rather him not because then he'd always have to run to not be late to his next class.

"I'll pick you up at six tonight," he grinned, hugging me and placing a kiss on my cheek as shivers ran down my spine and butterflies erupted in my belly. He smiled at me once again and turned on his heel as he began sprinting to his English class. I couldn't help but stare at him as he ran. His long legs moving stealthily as his arms pushed against the wind.

He looked like he could be on the cover of a magazine. I walked into my science class and took a seat beside one of the people in there.

There were merely days until graduation and I would be anticipating them later. But for now, the nervous excitement overwhelmed me as I thought about tonight.

  ♡♡♡

I couldn't decide what to wear. I had three dresses on my bed and had filled my backpack with pajamas in case I decided to stay the night. The first dress was a midnight blue dress that reached down to my feet where it flowed smoothly. It had a neckline reaching up to my collar bones and a gorgeous design of small diamonds.

The second dress was a short mid thigh pink dress that had flowers embroidered over the top layer and a small poof to it.

The third dress was a red dress mixing elements from both dresses. It was long and had a lace strap across one shoulder. It was the prettiest of the three dresses, but showed a bit more skin that I would've liked. It had a large area torn purposefully on the side revealing my leg as I walk. There was lace covering a white bodice of it.

I couldn't decide which one to wear until I narrowed it down to the red one. It was the fanciest of the three and it was Noah's favorite color. I'd been wearing a lot of red lately, either intentionally or unintentionally. I wasn't going to go as far as wearing heels but I felt this occasion was very important and would be very memorable.

A ring of the doorbell sent shivers down my spine. He was here. I had left my hair at its natural waviness and began walking down the stairs. My mom stood in front of the door stating at Noah's handsome face.

"Hi mom." I smiled as her gaze shifted to me.

"Diana, is that you?" She made her way to me. I could feel the small baby bump beginning to form. "You look absolutely stunning," she said as she released me and turned toward Noah. "This one's a keeper." She smiled widely as he hugged her too. It seemed as though her heart has had a major change. She didn't make a smart remark about 'what she would do this body' as she usually would have done. It seemed as though she'd matured, grown up a bit. Perhaps, she was actually ready for a second child and not a second mistake.

As soon as my eyes met Noah's gray ones, I felt my knees go weak. He wasn't wearing his contacts tonight, leaving me vulnerable to his intense steel gaze. He was wearing a black button down long sleeve shirt and black dress pants. He looked dangerous yet I knew he would hesitate even if it came to hurting a fly.

His gray eyes seemed to darken a bit as he took in my appearance but a half smile appeared on his face adding to the whole dangerous bad boy look he was giving. I grinned. I couldn't help but feel like i was the luckiest girl in the world.

"Mrs. Bliss, you wouldn't mind if I took your daughter out to meet my parents tonight?" He politely asked my mom.

"Why couldn't you have met him before that other asshole?" My mom laughed as she nodded. I stepped outside the door in my black flats.

"Bye mom." I smiled at her as we began walking toward his car.

"Bye Pure. Pure Bliss, you bring me pure happiness." Mom laughed as she made a dumb pun. I couldn't help but feel my heart fill with joy. Ever since she'd found out she was pregnant, she was beginning to actually get my name right.

"You look gorgeous." Noah said, snaking his arm around my waist and placing a soft kiss on my forehead. I felt warmth fill me up. Every time I was around him I couldn't help but feel my body heat rise by a million degrees.

He walked to the passenger door and held it open for me as I took a seat. He took a seat in the drivers chair and started the engine.

"Same goes to you Mr. bad boy." I laughed as he glanced at me, a smile on his face- even though he was anything but bad.
