Distant Mountains, page 25
“I’ve decided I’ll change his name to Jeremy. Do you mind?”
“Mind?” Rem placed a kiss on her forehead. “Why should I mind? And the child will grow up thinking I’m his father. We’ll never speak of that bastard who sired him again in our home.”
“Oh Remy, I love you so. I want lots of your children.”
“As many as you desire,” he pledged. “Whatever you ask I’ll give it to you. We’ll have eight just like Bella and Tiger if you wish.”
She pushed him in the chest and chuckled. “I think perhaps four or five would suit me.”
“Then four or five it will be.”
Rem wrapped her in his arms. A kookaburra warbled in the tree outside their window, welcoming the new day, and Rem laughed along with it.

For the Love of Faith
Award winning author Tricia McGill was born in London, England, and moved to Australia many years ago, settling near Melbourne. The youngest in a large, loving family she was never lonely or alone. Surrounded by avid readers, who encouraged her to read from an early age, is it any wonder she became a writer? The local library was a treasure trove and magical world of discovery through her childhood and growing years. Although her published works cross sub-genres, romance is always at their heart.
Tricia’s love of animals has always shown up in her books. Tricia devotes as much time and money as she can spare to supporting worldwide conservation groups and is passionate about supporting those who do all they can to preserve our wildlife for future generations, especially elephants and orangutans who seem to be getting the raw end of the deal even in this enlightened age. She also volunteers for a local community group that helps disabled adults and children to connect to the internet with provided computer equipment. When people ask what she does in her spare time, she usually replies, “Spare time, what is that?”
