The apartment was already starting to fill up with boxes. It wasn’t big enough for all of them and Nathan had easily talked him into moving onto the Burns’ family land. He had isolated himself for so long, he forgot how nice it was to have a family. There was no need to do everything for himself.
“I’m home,” Nathan called, and Emmett heard the door close behind him. “Where are you?”
“In the bedroom,” Emmett called back.
The alpha rounded the corner and froze. Emmett was perched on their bed, naked, a glass of wine held out to Nathan as he grinned. Nathan couldn’t toe his shoes off and climb into bed fast enough.
“What’s this?” He asked as he slipped beside him. “Wheres Aiden?
“He’s visiting Grace for the night, so it’s just us.”
“Really now?” Nathan grinned as he took the glass and sipped from it. “And I guess you have something planned for us.”
“Well, I know how much you’ve been wanting to bite me. I kind of felt it the first time we fooled around,” he laughed. “So, tonight I want you to claim me.”
Nathan licked his lips and sat his glass down. “Gods, yes,” he nodded as he yanked his shirt over his head and tossed it aside. “I want that more than anything.”
“Then do it,” Emmett breathed. “It’s all I’ve been thinking about.”
There wasn’t a moment of hesitation. Nathan climbed on top of Emmett as the omega squeaked and grinned. Emmett wrapped his legs around Nathan’s waist and moaned as he was kissed so deeply his toes curled. Nathan nipped his bottom lip and Emmett flushed.

“It’s not as awful as you thought it would be, is it? Not having to work day and night.”
“Honestly, I think my body needed the break. I’ve never been so relaxed in my life.” He picked up Nathan’s hand and kissed it. “And that’s all thanks to you. I’m so happy I have you.”
“I’m just glad you’re letting me help,” he mumbled as he nuzzled Emmett’s back. “Just because you can do it all doesn’t mean you should have to.”
Emmett reached up a hand and stroked Nathan’s messy hair and soft face. He couldn’t think of anywhere he’d rather be than in the arms of the man he loved. His eyes grew heavy and he sighed happily as he started to drift off in his arms.
“A quick nap and then round two,” Emmett mumbled.
Nathan chuckled. “You’re so demanding, even in bed.”
Emmett grinned. “You love it.”
“I don't have a complaint in the world,” he purred.
Epilogue

“Ready to go?”
“I would be if someone would stay still,” Emmett called from the nursery. “He does not want to get dressed.”
“I think he just loves giving you a hard time,” Nathan laughed.
They’d moved into the main house and taken over the nursery. Dec and Colt had finally settled into their own place and next it would be their turn. Nathan made as much time as possible to work on the house when he wasn’t working or spending time with his family. His pack.
Nathan strolled into the nursery and grinned. Aiden flailed his arms and legs and giggled wildly. Emmett looked like he was ready to give up and let him run naked again, and he probably would have if it wasn’t so cold. Winter was right around the corner and Michigan loved to outdo itself.
“Let me do it,” Nathan said as he moved up to them.
“Thank you,” Emmett sighed as he leaned his head on Nathan’s arm. “I love him, but he loves to torture me. I’ve heard the baby comes out like the person who pissed you off the most during your pregnancy.”
“You did that to yourself,” Nathan laughed. “You just like to drive daddy crazy huh?” Nathan cooed. “It’s fun to watch him lose it sometimes.”
Emmett elbowed him. “It is not! Don’t encourage this,” he said as he shook his finger at him.
“Sorry, sorry,” he laughed as he kissed his temple. “I’ll behave.”
Nathan grabbed the onesie and slid it over Aiden’s squirmy little body. He had a wild mess of red hair and the most gorgeous brown eyes he’d ever seen. Everything from his curly locks to his tiny toes was absolute perfection.
Once the blue onesie was snapped in place, he pulled on a pair of mint green pants and a long-sleeved green shirt to make sure he was nice and warm. A pair of socks later and he was cozy and happy as he reached for Nathan’s nose and squeezed it.
“Honk!” Nathan shouted.
Aiden giggled and did it again and again as he was carried down the stairs. He plopped the boy into his high chair while Emmett went in search of food.
“There’s my little nephew,” Jedidiah cooed as he came down and kissed the boy’s head. “Look at you growing like a weed. He is so cute,” he gushed at Nate. “I can’t wait to have one.”
“Well you’re obviously next,” he laughed. “It seems the universe is making us go in order.”
Jed sighed. “I wish, bro. I don’t even have time to think about any of that. I love being a vet, but it’s definitely busy,” he said as he poked Aiden’s cheek and the boy giggled.
“Sometimes you don’t have a choice,” Nate said as he sat down. “Are you going to Declan’s? We wanted to give Aiden a little snack and then we’re heading over. Mom and dad are already there.”’
“No,” Jed shook his head. “My friend Parker is back in town. We’re going to grab coffee. He wants to talk to me about something.”
“Ah,” Emmett said as he strolled over. “Did he say what?”
“No idea,” Jed shrugged. “All he said was that he wanted to catch up. I haven’t seen him in like ten years so I’m dying to see how he’s doing after hanging out in New York for so long.”
“Well, I’m sure it’ll be fun,” Emmett smiled. “There will always be another family meal.”
“I won’t miss the next one,” Jed said as he kissed Aiden’s head. “Bye guys!”
Jed dashed out of the house and Nathan frowned. “He’s hiding something.”
“Isn’t that what brothers do?”
Nathan nodded. “I guess so.” He checked his phone. “We should head over. Can you grab his jacket?”
“I sure can.”
Emmet moved past him, but Nathan stood up and yanked him back into his arms. He moaned when Nathan’s lips crashed against his own.
“What’s all that about?” Emmett asked as he gazed up at him.
“Just showing you how much I adore you, sweetheart,” he smiled as he ran a thumb over his lips. “I’m still amazed that you’re part of my family.”
Emmett beamed up at him. “I love you too. Come on, Mr. Sappy. We’ll be late.”
Nathan let him go and smiled as he watched him retreat. Aiden cooed and he smiled even harder as he pet his head. He couldn’t help but to think that he was the luckiest man in the world.
