As you know, it can be therapeutic for prisoners to feel they have a goal somewhere beyond their sentence.
It has been pointed out to Mander that it will be some way in the future – her sentence is fifteen years, although with remission she will probably be out in twelve. However, Mander says she does not mind how long she has to wait.
