“I know that these next few months will be challenging for us, with you going back to school in Florida, and me staying here until the spring, but it’ll get easier. We have so much to look forward to and I can’t wait to move home and start school. You’ve made me happier than I’ve ever been. Thanks for taking care of me when I’ve been down and loving every second of it. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for us.” Connor lightly clinked his glass to hers. “I love you, Maddie.”
Maddie beamed. “I love you, too. Here’s to the rest of our lives together.” She sipped from her glass and winked at her man from across the table.
