JAN VANDER LAENEN lives in Brussels, where he works as an art historian and translator. He is the author of eight collections of short stories, plays, and screenplays, and he has contributed to Bears and Best Gay Love Stories 2009. He credits Karen Blixen and Edgar Allan Poe as his literary influences.
JEFF MANN has published two books of poetry, Bones Washed with Wine and On the Tongue; a collection of memoir and poetry, Loving Mountains, Loving Men; a book of essays, Edge; and a volume of short fiction, A History of Barbed Wire, winner of a Lambda Literary Award.
DAVID MAY contributed to Drummer and other gay skin magazines in the 1980s, published two classic story collections in the 1990s, including Madrugada: A Cycle of Erotic Fictions, reprinted in 2009 by Nazca Plains, and has contributed to many anthologies, including Flesh & the Word 3 and Best Gay Erotica 2007. He lives in Seattle.
ROBERT PATRICK wrote the plays Kennedy’s Children, Untold Decades, T-Shirts, and too many others, and the novel Temple Slave. He was a participant at the first Off-Off Broadway theater and cradle of gay theater, the Caffe Cino (New York 1958-1968) and maintains a huge website of Cino images at caffecino.wordpress.com.
SIMON SHEPPARD (simonsheppard.com) is making his sixteenth appearance in the Best Gay Erotica series. He edited the Lambda Award-winning Homosex: Sixty Years of Gay Erotica and Leathermen, and wrote In Deep: Erotic Stories; Kinkorama; Sex Parties 101 and Hotter Than Hell. His work has also appeared in nearly three hundred anthologies.
NATTY SOLTESZ (bacteriaburger.com) has had stories published in Best Gay Erotica 2009, Second Person Queer, and Best Gay Romance 2009, regularly publishes fiction in Freshmen, Mandate, and Handjobs, is a faithful contributor to the Nifty Erotic Stories Archive, and is writing his first novel, Backwoods. He lives in Pittsburgh with his lover.
THOM WOLF (myspace.com/thomwolfspace) has published two erotic novels, Words Made Flesh and The Chain; his short stories have appeared in numerous anthologies and magazines. He lives with his husband Liam in England, where he is a student of creative writing and continues to dabble with gay porn.
ROB WOLFSHAM is a twenty-three-year-old token living in Lubbock fucking Texas. His work appears in Boy Crazy and College Boys, from Cleis Press, and I Like It Like That: True Tales of Gay Desire, from Arsenal Pulp Press. He writes for the gayzine Nightcharm.com. Eat his blog at wolfshammy.com.

RICHARD LABONTÉ has been series editor of Best Gay Erotica since 1997, and won the Lambda Literary Award for best gay erotica in 2005 (with judge William Mann) and 2009 (with judge James Lear). Another Lammy came his way in 2007 for First Person Queer (Arsenal Pulp Press), coedited with Lawrence Schimel. He has edited a couple of dozen anthologies for Cleis Press, coedited four for Arsenal Pulp, writes book reviews (queer and otherwise) and edits technical writing.
