Meret glided across the courtyard and into the dazzlingly white palace that stood at the top of an equally white set of marble stairs - well, they looked like marble, anyway. She made her way to her throne room, with its tall, paneless windows that let in the jasmine fragranced air outside and the summery daylight. She didn’t sit on her imposing glass throne, however, but descended into an area inset in the middle of the room which was strewn with cushions in opulent fabrics, all in jewel-like colors. This was a kind of pleasure-pit she had created in which to play with her angel consorts. She put her hands on her hips in a bold stance and called forth the three angels who weren’t otherwise occupied.
‘Elyon! Dalquiel! Raziel! I need you.’
