A note from the author
At the time this book was in the pre-publishing stages, the El Faro cargo ship was lost at sea. The Eclipse ship and the basis of this book is entirely fictional, but the fate of the El Faro 33-person crew is all too real. My heart goes out to their families and loved ones.
