The stranger turned toward her, and now Kenya could see a lot more clearly.
“No,” the woman said. “I’m not Paragon.” She looked around again. “What is this place? How did I get here? And these men… Why are they wearing Krodin’s symbol?”
“I’ll tell you everything I know. But… Who are you?”
The woman wiped the blood from her sword and returned it to the scabbard on her back. “My name is Abigail de Luyando.”
