My grandmother kissed me on the cheek and closed the door behind me. The streetlights flickered, taking command of the streets with a desolate honesty. As I pushed away on my bike, I looked back. My grandfather was no longer on the porch. My grandmother took her place in the window and waved.
I smiled dismally as I pedaled away. I would’ve never thought that the last time I would see Old-Timer’s widow alive.

M.R. Tapia has had his short stories appear in Bandwagon Magazine, Schlock Webzine, Deadman’s Tome, and Empty Sink Publishing. He is also the editor for the Hindered Souls anthology. His novel ‘Sugar Skulls’ is currently in the editing process. He writes out of Northern Colorado.
Gary Buller—Shelf Life
Gary Buller is an author from Manchester England where he lives with his long suffering partner Lisa, and his daughter Holly. He is a huge fan of all things macabre and loves a tale with a twist. Marie Anderson is a married mother of three from La Grange, IL. During the school year, she helps supervise and entertain 500 grade school children during their lunch recess. She is the editor and publisher of the multi-author anthology, ‘The Wrong Coat’ (createspace/amazon/2016). Her short stories have appeared in Brain Child, St. Anthony Messenger, Woman's World, Morpheus Tales, Downstate Story, and Writer's Digest. In 2012, she was a finalist in the annual Great American Think-Off essay/debate competition.

Christine Makepeace is a New Englander by birth, a New Yorker by choice, and an Austinite by happenstance. Craig Bullock has had his works appear in Box of Bizarro, and 9 Tales At the World’s End. He has been writing for two years and draws inspiration from D.G. Jones, Sydney Knight, Matt Shaw and Rob Harris. He works with youth with behavioral issues. He writes out of the United Kingdom where he lives with his family.

Robert Allen Lupton—Treehouse; Grapes Of Humanity
Robert Allen Lupton is retired and lives in New Mexico with his wife, Sally, where they are commercial hot air balloon pilots. Robert runs and writes every day, but not necessarily in that order. He has published several short stories, most recently published or scheduled for publication this year are stores included the anthologies, Uncommon Origins, Keeping Pace With Eternity, Twelve Days, and Potter’s Field Six. Theresa Braun was born in St. Paul, Minnesota and has carried some of that hardiness with her to South Florida where she currently resides. She enjoys delving into creative writing, painting, photography and even bouts of ghost hunting. Perhaps growing up in a haunted house in Winona, Minnesota is to blame. Traveling as often as possible is one of her passions—in fact, her latest adventure took her to Romania for a horror writers’ workshop where she followed in the steps of Vlad the Impaler. She writes horror fiction and blogs for horror websites; her latest short story ‘Shout at the Devil’ appears in Under the Bed Magazine.
Jeff Dosser—Movie Time
Jeff Dosser has a background in software development and in police work, making him no stranger to horror. His works have appeared in Bewildering Stories and Pulp Fiction Magazine. He has works scheduled to appear in August at Shotgun Honey as well as the fall issues of Yellow Mama and Down In The Dirt magazines.
Bekki Pate—The Nightmare
Bekki Pate was born in Nottingham and currently lives in Wolverhampton with her partner and ten month old daughter. She is the author of horror novels The Willow Tree and The Shadow Beneath, and the short story collection Into the Dark. She has also recently had a number of short stories accepted into anthologies due to come out in 2016. Bekki is always writing – whether it is short stories or full-length novels, and later in 2016 she will be releasing her third novel – The Pale Man. Along with spending time with her daughter and partner, Bekki is an avid reader, her favourite authors being Stephen King, Elizabeth Kostova and Richard Laymon.

Wondra Vanian is a Michigan native who moved to Wales, in the United Kingdom, to marry the love of her life and raise an army of four-legged furbabies. She left her job working for The Man in 2014, after earning a BA in English Language and Literature, and is currently focusing on her love of writing. Her short horror stories have appeared in The Catacombs: Through the Keyhole.
