I gritted my teeth. That phone call would get any guy to call back.
We reached my car, and I opened the passenger door for her, seated her. Then came around to the driver side. I was about to secure her with the seatbelt, but she pulled it over herself.
“I take it you got his voicemail.”
“Yes. Must be busy and can’t talk.”
I pulled out of the parking lot and headed down the hill.
My house was a few blocks away, so I pulled into the driveway. “Come on in, Summer,” I said, opening the door. “We might as well relax here while waiting for River to call you back.”
“Okay,” she agreed. She stepped in and looked around. “You’ve done wonders with this place, Dante. All your furniture’s here. It looks like a palace.”
“Just some furniture from back home in England. We have some family heirlooms. Antique pieces from the estate that I wanted here to remind me of home.”
She dropped her backpack on the hallway bench and took off her shoes. “I feel like I can’t walk in here with my shoes on,” she said.
“That would be fine, and I take off my shoes myself. A habit I picked up from flying to Asia all the time and doing business there,” I said.
“Wow,” Summer said. “Being here…it feels strange. You know…since I’ve been here before but with Nat, Rachel, and Drew. I’m sorry, but it brings back old memories.”
“Want to look around?” I asked. “It may help you to move on…seeing how this place has changed.”
“That’s a good idea,” Summer said, walking around.
“Feel free to go anywhere, Summer. The maid has just finished up and will be heading out in a few minutes, so it’ll just be you and me.”
“Oh, okay,” Summer said.
“Here,” I took her hand and led her up the stairs. “Which room was Nat’s?”
“The last room upstairs to the right,” Summer said.
“Let’s go there,” I said, leading her to the room. Once inside, Summer looked around, noticing the large king size bed in the middle and all the creature comforts.
“This is very similar to Nat’s room,” she said.
“Oh, we have similar tastes then,” I said. “This is my guest bedroom. You can stay here anytime if it helps you get over him.”
She walked to the bed and sat down.
I followed and sat down next to her.
She laid down and looked up at the ceiling. “I’ve always wanted to lay down on his bed in his bedroom,” she said.
“Now you can pretend to be there,” I said, laying down next to her.
“I still miss him,” she said.
I turned to her and held her in my arms. “Don’t, Summer. It’s the best thing for you to get over him.” I kissed her gently at first. When her mouth opened to mine, I delved in with my tongue. We kissed like the first time, with such passion and hunger, I almost couldn’t control myself.
“Oh Dante,” Summer sighed. “You’re so much like him, but also not him, but God, you taste so good.”
“I want to taste you, too,” I said, picturing how she looked when I first saw her naked and being eaten out by River in his car. I was rock hard remembering that hot as hell image of Summer.
Suddenly, I was tearing off her panties and eating her out, my mouth on her folds, licking, sucking, wanting to make her mine.
She was moaning, her hands grabbing the silk sheets underneath her. “Oh Dante, yes. Give me more!”
I lost it. I plunged my fingers into her, while licking her, thrusting into her until she tensed and arched her back, climaxing into my fingers.
God, she was so beautiful with her face showing all the passion and pleasure she felt while climaxing.
She stopped shuddering and looked into my eyes.
I couldn’t take my eyes off her. I kept licking her, drinking up all her essence. “So delicious, Summer. You taste like life itself.”
I pulled up my head to look directly at her. Then I licked my fingers dry, savoring each drop of her.
“God Dante, that was so sexy,” Summer said.
“You’re so sexy, Summer,” I said. “You know I’ve wanted to kiss and eat you since the first time I saw you standing at my door.”
“I didn’t know,” she said.
“Now you do, Summer,” I said, pulling her to me to hold her tightly against me. “Since you know now, know that I’m pretty addicted to you…so much so that I went through getting on the Board, getting your aunt’s school a grant, and even Free Day just to win you over. All for you. I’m crazy for you. And all I want is for you to be mine.”
Epilogue
Nat
After weeks working on the kidnapping case, my team at Donovan Dynamics finally found a lead. It wasn’t just a small-time kidnapper as we thought and were originally led to believe. It was larger than that. Much larger.
So it was a smart idea we didn’t tell anyone, especially those closest to us where we went or any details about us…because the kidnapping ring would go through them. Harm them even.
Just to get to us.
It was better they knew nothing about us.
It was better to disappear.
No contact. No communication.
Especially Aunt Sookie and Summer.
I was glad Dad finally acted somewhat responsibly, letting me lead the team in investigating the kidnapping of Drew, of the attempt for kidnapping me and even Rachel.
It turned out there is a company. Not just any company. A billion dollar conglomerate behind all of this. Maybe one of Dad’s rivals. Most likely one of Dad’s rivals. Black. Black Enterprises or something.
That was where all the leads traced back to.
Thank God they were in England and had to use only minor players to get their work done here in the U.S.
At least they were still an ocean away, because from what I’ve uncovered, their main guy was one sick son of a bitch.
