  “We’ll tell them the truth,” I said, then explained as I saw the startled look on Raffe’s face. “The door was stuck, and I forced it open. I guess I don’t know my own strength.”

  “You’re the best, Gir.”

  “Right back at you, Raffe.”

  Like I said, I might feel insignificant around my family, but Raffe makes me feel like a giant. I couldn’t ask for a better little brother, and I wouldn’t want to.
