The Biker's Cherry, page 5
“There’s no one.”
“It’s settled then. Soon as you think one of these bitches is into you, get in there. Whatever it takes. Feel me? I don’t care if you gotta promise to marry the cunt. I want this done.”
Bass pumps through the speakers at the Kitty Kat. I’m on security tonight. Its Thursday. Business is steady and dollar bills are flying at the stage where Bambi works the pole. Long brown hair styled in two school girl braids to go with her short plaid skirt doing her best Britney Spears impression to a cover of ‘Toxic’. Of course, Bambi is only her stripper name, but she’s my target. If I’m going all in for this might as well get the most out of it and hookup with a fine piece of ass in the process. And what a fine piece she is.
She gives me a sultry smile over her shoulder before bending over and flashing the audience her jiggly ass under her skirt. Fuck me the woman can move. Her hips roll and her ass bounces as she glides up and down the pole, working what her momma gave her. Grabbing the middle of the little white top she’s wearing Bambi pulls her hands apart, the shirt rips open to expose her tits. They practically jump out of the thin, black sheer cups covering them. She loses the skirt and does the splits while lifting one of her breasts up to lick it.
Damn.
A customer gets overzealous and jumps on the stage. Stupid fuck is drunk, stumbling toward Bambi. The pro that she is, she takes a step back from the idiot wagging a finger at him like he’s a naughty boy. I stalk toward them as she shoves him backwards. He goes down hard on his ass, nearly knocking his head on a chair when he hits the floor. I grip him from behind, yanking him toward the door by the collar of his shirt. No one ever promised this job would be as simple as looking at ass and titties all night.
“Hey, maaannn,” he slurs.
I shove him out the door onto the asphalt parking lot. “Call this asshole a cab.”
Dino, who is working the door tonight, gives me a nod. He’s not affiliated with the club. Just a big fuck who works the door. Used to be a football player in his college days. Tore something in his shoulder his junior year that ended his baller days.
By the time I get back inside Bambi is off the stage.
Kimber’s tried texting me all week. I know I’m a lousy shit. No matter what I do I’m going to hurt her. I never should have gotten started with her. I knew better. But fuck me when she smiles at me the world ends and begins with her. My sweet cherry. My little cupcake. Fuck. I stare at her name on my contacts and debate hitting delete. I can’t afford a big blow up right now. If I ignore her, maybe she’ll get pissed and back off. I know it isn’t cool or fair of me. She deserves an explanation. If I tell her the truth, she’ll try to reason that she understands and that she’s okay with it. At first, she might be. Until she sees me with another woman and her claws come out.
Pam practically raised her, and we all know she’s fucking crazy and won’t hesitate to cut off a man’s balls if need be. If I was Link, I’d be afraid to sleep next to her after the shit he pulled.
I’ve gotta forget about Kimber. Maybe once this is over we can pick things back up, but for now I gotta keep my head straight. I have a job to do, and I plan to get my patch no matter what.
The rest of the night moves quickly without any drama. When closing time comes, I make sure I’m around to walk my mark to her car.
I stand in the doorway of the dressing room as she gathers her shit from her locker. She still has the braids but is now wearing a hoodie and leggings. “Thanks for earlier but I had him handled.”
“He needs to sleep that shit off. Darryl should have cut him off sooner.”
“The drunker they are, the looser they get with their wallets.”
I don’t comment on that particular statement. She’s not wrong in her logic but it’s fucked up.
“Okay. I’m ready.”
“Let’s go.” The rest of the girls have gone for the night. Bambi is always one of the last out of the club because she usually has the most money to cash out.
The parking lot is nearly empty other than my truck, Bambi’s car, Dino’s van, and Vanna’s Mercedes. She took over managing the club about a month ago. No one else wanted the job. This business continues to be more trouble than it’s worth. Murder is considering selling but wants to get to the bottom of this Club Nine shit first.
Bambi turns to me before opening her door.
Before she can speak, I shoot my shot. “You got a man?”
Her lips tip into a sexy smirk. “Depends on who is asking?”
“You gonna let me take you out sometime?”
“This is new.”
Bambi may look like a bimbo but she’s far from stupid.
“Been watching you a while now. Been liking what I’m seeing.” I step in close and yank on the end of one of her braids.
“All right. I’ll bite. Take me out now.”
“It’s two am.”
“And your point?”
“I take you anywhere now, it’ll be the clubhouse.”
She licks her bottom lip. “I’m good with that.”
“Cool. You’re with me.”
“Let me dump my bag in my trunk first.”
I start up my truck while she does her thing. I was expecting her to make me work a little harder to get in there but glad I don’t have to. Its no skin off my back to fuck her to get what I need for the club. The passenger door opens, and she slides in and buckles up.
“You been to Devil’s Playground before?”
“Royal Bastards clubhouse?”
“Yeah.”
“A few times to party.”
“Good then you know the rules.”
“What happens in the clubhouse stays there. Kinda like Vegas.” Bambi puts a hand on my thigh and gives me a squeeze before leaning over to lick the side of my neck.
I hit the gas. After the past week of being cock teased with the promise of Kimber my dick is practically fucking springing out of my pants to get wet. Thoughts of Kimber and her sweet cherry scent hits me like a punch to the damn gut, but I can’t go there. I can’t think about what might have been. I have to focus on the now.
I have a job to do. A patch to earn and getting involved with her will only complicate shit. She’s a girl and a man like me needs a woman.
I punch in the code at the gate and drive through. It’s late but there’s almost always someone around.
Shiloh and Banks are slow dancing by the pool tables. Glad to see he finally moved past the Danika shit. I wasn’t around for it but heard enough stories about the bullshit and problems she caused. Link strayed from Pam with her, and it’s not something anyone mentions unless they want their dick shoved up their own ass.
Shit happens. Everyone knows that bikers aren’t known for being loyal to anyone but their club. Another reason I can’t fuck with Kimber. I’d break her heart. I’m not looking to settle down and a girl like her deserves the fairytale. I’m no prince charming. I’m no one’s hero.
Banks gives me a chin lift as he gets a handful of Shiloh’s ass. I nab a bottle of Jack Daniels from behind the bar and take Bambi upstairs to the room that will officially be mine when I earn my patch.
Chapter Eight
Navarro’s been dodging me.
I don’t know what I did wrong. I thought we were on the same page. That he was cool with waiting and taking things slow. I’m skipping school to be here. Mom is going to kill me if she finds out. I had Sheena drop me off at the clubhouse. I told Smoke I need to see my Uncle Link and he didn’t ask any questions. He let me through the gate because I’m family.
Brodix spread rumors that he fucked me then dumped me. I’ve gotten judgmental glares and pity stares all week. I’ve heard the whispers. That he popped my cherry. No one cares that it’s a lie. Makes me wonder if I’m not the only girl he’s pulled this shit on. At the same time, I don’t have it in me to worry about what he says. I don’t give a damn what anyone at school thinks about me, but Keisha has been getting teased about it and that’s not cool. She’s my little sister, and I have to look out for her. She has three more years in those walls. I don’t want them tainted by my reputation.
I clutch the frame to my chest and take a deep breath as I stand outside the door to Nav’s room at the clubhouse. The sound of 90s grunge rock filters from the other side where he is. I start to knock but the door falls open. The soft glow of the bedside lamp illuminates his naked backside. His back isn’t tattooed, not yet. But when he earns his patch, he’ll get his ink from Roane. My mouth parts. A dry sandpaper sensation coats the back of my throat as tears burn in my eyes and yet I can’t look away.
Navarro is buried between the thighs of a stripper whore named Bambi, pounding into her as though his life depends on fucking her. I only know who she is because the boys at school who are eighteen have been to the Kitty Kat and snuck pictures of her. Brodix had one of her set as his screensaver on his phone. If I didn’t think much of her before. I triple hate her guts now. I don’t want to watch but part of me can’t seem to look away. I won’t say I thought Nav loved me, but I thought he really liked me. I didn’t tell him that I love him, but he has to know the way I feel. That for me there’s no one else.
He said he’d wait for me. It’s been four days and he’s already fucking someone else.
I never thought love could hurt like this.
The frame slips from my grip as I turn, rushing past Viking on the stairs. I don’t reach the bottom before he hooks an arm around my waist, pulling me tight against his chest. “Easy, girl,” his furry lips brush my ear as violent sobs wrack through me. Blinded by tears and my breathing muffled by snot I grip his cut, burying my face in his neck.
“Please get me out of here.”
He stares at me, reading the visible pain etched across my face as though the words expressing my heartache are printed on my skin.
“What happened?” he growls, ready to go to battle with whoever hurt me.
“Nothing. I just. Please.” I peer up at him through my tear-soaked lashes.
“Kimber,” Nav’s voice croaks from behind him.
Oh God kill me. Take me now. I move my head side to side, unable to face him.
Viking squeezes me tighter. “Not now, asshole.”
“Fuck,” Nav mutters. “Let me talk to her.”
Viking eases his hold. “He hurt you?”
I shake my head because my heart is broken but I only have myself to blame. I let myself believe that we were something more.
“Want me to kick his ass?” His lips twitch as though he’d love to do just that.
“No,” I whisper.
“Want to talk to him?”
I pause and close my eyes, needing a moment to catch my breath. I still can’t face Nav, but I guess I owe him a chance to express himself even if it’s the last thing I want right now. I wish I could rewind time and tell myself never to come here. To stay away from Nav. To stop craving him for my own. But there’s this small spark of hope that blooms in my chest when I meet his gaze, so I say, “yeah,” against my better judgment.
“You need me…want a lift, whatever. You find me, and I’ll take you home.”
“Thanks.” I sniffle, wiping the tip of my nose on my sleeve.
Viking gives me another squeeze before releasing me. A harsh expression crosses his face as he moves past Nav on the stairs bumping chests with him in warning. He’s going to make some woman so damn happy one of these days. Too bad he’s in love with a woman he can’t have. Guess we both know what it’s like to want things we shouldn’t. Makes me realize I’m not alone. That there are other people facing unimaginable heartache other than me.
Nav stares at me, shirtless and barefoot, clad in a pair of dark jeans with the button undone, exposing that dark patch of hair that delves between his legs. Sweat glistens on his skin and I want to throw up.
“You wanted to talk. So talk.” I need to keep it together. I can’t let him see how deep his betrayal cuts me. The disappointment I’ve had in Brodix pales in comparison to this. Nav’s humiliated me on a level I can’t explain.
“Can we go somewhere private?”
“Like the room you were just fucking Bambi in. She have something to say to me too?”
He rakes a hand through his dark unruly hair that I ache to run my fingers through. “Don’t be like that.”
“Like what? Hurt? Jealous that it isn’t me laying in your bed? Sorry. I can’t do that. You know how I feel.” I start to reach for him and stop myself. He’s not mine to touch. If I’m being truthful with myself, he never was.
“Why? You want to join us? Want to know what it’s like to date a man like me?”
His words slice across my heart like the jagged edges of shattered glass.
“Fuck you.”
“That’s what you want, isn’t it? Me to take that sweet cherry between your legs and pop it.”
“I hate you.”
“Good.” He drops down to the step above the one I’m on. “You’re a little girl who has no fucking clue who I am or what I’m like. You got a crush and that’s real cute, sweetheart, but a man like me needs a woman in my bed who knows how to take care of my dick. I don’t need to teach some brat how to suck my cock.”
Fire burns in my chest and shoots through my veins along with his words like poison. Heat zooms up my spine. The flames lick their way up my neck and spread like wildfire. I grind my teeth and ball my fists fighting the urge to punch him in the junk. If I could, I’d cut his dick off for the way he’s being. The nasty words spewing from his lying mouth aren’t the guy I know. This isn’t him. I don’t know what happened or if my Uncle Link got to him, but Nav has never been this guy.
All the sweet things he whispered to me in the dark. How gentle he was. The passion that burned between us. I don’t know why he’s playing games with me.
“You can play the big bad biker all you want, but I know you think about me. That you care about me. So you can fuck your strippers or whores. Whoever you want but know I can too. I can march down these stairs and have my pick.”
His jaw ticks. “You want to be used then be my guest. See how far you get when your uncle sees you acting like a cut slut.”
“I’ll take my chances.” I start to take a step when he grabs hold of my arm and jerks me up three steps to the landing where there’s a platform between levels. Backing me into the wall he cages me in. Putting both hands above my head for leverage he leans in close. He smells of sex, liquor, and cigarettes. “Get out of my face.”
“We both know that you’re better than this. Don’t lower yourself to prove a point that doesn’t fuckin’ matter. I don’t want to hurt you, Kimber.”
“You already did,” I snap at him, and his forehead drops to mine. His sweat drips onto my skin, his damp hair rubbing against mine.
“You’re too good for me. You don’t belong here. Not now. Not ever.”
“Why are you being such a prick?”
“You need to go back to school. Go back to your rich little boyfriend. There’s nothing here for you.”
“You’re so full of shit. You want me. I can see it in your eyes. You love me, Nav.”
“You don’t know a damn thing about love, cupcake. This isn’t one of your romance books.”
“Do you think about me when you fuck other people?”
“What?” his voice drops low.
“Tell me. When you’re fucking all these women…do you wish they were me? Because when I kiss other guys, I pretend that they’re you. I think I always will.” I trace his lips, rubbing the pad of my finger over them. “I imagine how hot it’d be when you sink inside me.”
His gaze darkens, and I don’t know if its desire or anger flashing in his pretty ocean eyes.
I’m terrified to make a move or breathe for that matter. I just want him to keep looking at me like he is right now as his tongue glides over his lips getting them good and wet. His breath blows on my mouth and then he kisses me. Pure fire. Raw power. He consumes me, and I don’t care about anything but his lips on mine. For him, I’m ready to burn.
I’d let him have me right here against the wall even though he was just inside someone else. That’s how much I love him.
His teeth tug my bottom lip hard then his lips roll and then he sucks my tongue caressing it with his own. I moan into his mouth and fist his hair with one hand, clawing his back with the other, ready to beg him to do what he knows I want. For him to fuck me. To claim my cherry and take my virginity like only he can. Because it’s his.
I moan into his mouth, and he growls in return.
Before I know it, he pulls away.
I stare at him bewildered but with an ache to be with him surging through me so hot and fast I could explode.
“Don’t come around me anymore.”
“What?”
“That kiss just now. I felt nothing. Now you know. I don’t see you as anything but a girl.”
I shove his chest. “You feel something for me but you’re a coward.”
His arms drop and he takes a step back. I look up to the top of the stairs as Viking walks back down them. On impulse when he reaches the landing I step in his path and grab him by his cut, going up on the tips of my shoes. I press my lips against his hard and unforgiving. I give him all I have, thrusting my tongue in his mouth and he doesn’t disappoint in giving Nav a show. Viking’s hands drop to my ass, and he lifts me up. I wrap my legs around his waist kissing him like he’s the air I need to breathe. I know he doesn’t like me, and I don’t particularly like him either but we’re both hurting and in need of something. Some company.
