Qubit, page 42
Russ Galen was kind enough to give me detailed critiques of my early attempts at a novel, from which I learned a great deal. The fact that he took me at all seriously as a novelist also helped to validate my aspirations of becoming one.
Jason Rush, Laura Weidman-Powers, Lynne-Marie Eatwell, Gert Basson, and Matthew King all read various drafts or installments of my prose and helped me grow as a writer. They believed in me and encouraged me for no good reason.
Janet Joseph, my personal assistant, is the one who made it possible for me to work crazy hours by eliminating so many tedious and unpleasant distractions from my life. One day, her dream of becoming a chef is going to happen and I’ll be lost.
