About the Author
Dustin Steinacker is a Utah native who has spent countless hours traveling the roads in this story, though only rarely under such desperate circumstances. He holds a degree in Sociology and a Master of Public Administration from Brigham Young University, where he received manuscript feedback from author Brandon Sanderson while taking Brandon’s writing course. His story “Envoy in the Ice” was published in 2017 in Writers of the Future Vol. 33, where it was the first quarter finalist.
Dustin lives in Orem, Utah, with his editor wife Helena and their illiterate dog Caramel.
