The Fractured World, page 6
Casella’s fingers returned the world to a place filled with just the two of us.
Electricity raced through me. I tensed. How could one stroke feel like that?
“This means I’m pleasing you, yes?” Casella said. “I may lack experience, but my tutors complimented my technique.”
“You had tutors?” I grunted.
“Yes. I am a princess. We all study in the art of pleasing our mate.” She brushed a long strand of pastel pink hair behind her ear and leaned in close enough to rub me with her words. “I was awarded full marks.” Casella sealed her lips around me.
Electricity turned to lightning. Every muscle in my body tightened.
She rolled her head up and down, stroking my swollen hardness within the hot dominating embrace of her mouth.
I grunted. No words came. The entire dictionary had been milked out of me.
Her every action overwhelmed. The gentle massage of her fingers, how her tongue danced across me, and everything she did with those thick juicy lips. They were irresistible: unbeatable.
This wasn’t a blowjob. It was an out-of-body experience.
Casella didn’t stop. She pushed deeper. Moved faster. She knew what would make me melt. Her gorgeous yellow eyes peeked, as if hunting for approval. But she didn’t need it. She had to know. Casella had to know she was driving me crazy.
How can anyone look so sexy? I don’t stand a chance!
I didn’t praise her with words but with actions. With the flustered moans leaking from my throat and the trembles coursing through my veins. A me in a better state could have lasted longer. Not this me, the one tasting this ecstasy for the first time. An overwhelming rush struck me. I grabbed her head and held her in place. Then I took over the situation.
The wet rhythm of her amazing mouth was the soundtrack to my surrender. She didn’t fight it. Casella allowed me to fall to desire.
I kept going until I was far past my limits. While biting back a groan, I released.
It was like nothing I’d experienced before.
The otherworldly euphoria couldn’t have lasted for more than a minute, but it seemed to last for days. Stars flashed before me and bliss pumped through my veins. I was amazed at myself for coming out the other end still standing. It felt as if my life had been drained out of me.
Casella gasped as she pulled back. Rivers of fresh saliva, sullied by my seed, splashed down her chin and painted her thick blue lips.
“Are you okay?” I asked.
“So okay,” she replied through air-gobbling pants. “You were like a beast.”
“I don’t know what came over me.” Her technique had completely eroded my mind.
She giggled. “I like whatever it was.” Casella took her sweet time licking the mess from her lips. Then she stared me in the eyes and gave my cock the same treatment.
My manhood throbbed. Her every action was an aphrodisiac.
“Tell me that isn’t the end,” I said.
“It isn’t the end,” Casella giggled. She lay back and spread herself with her fingers. “We must mate here to become one.” Her hairless mound was already dripping. Even though she was an alien, she was such an enticing shade of pink.
Then again what about her wasn’t endlessly alluring? Resistance was impossible. I gave her what she wanted.
What I wanted.
Her rapturous squeals echoed around our compact den the moment I filled her.
I grunted. She was so tight. Her small virgin body was like nothing else. I steadied my hips, scared to thrust any further.
“Don’t,” Casella moaned. She wrapped her legs around mine. “I can take it. I promise.” Her lust-filled expression tried to cloud my mind. “Please, make me your mate.”
And succeeded.
I pressed through the resistance and truly made us one.
Her beatific gasp was all the thanks I needed.
My hips kickstarted by themselves. The molten embrace of her heavenly insides was a drug that ruled my senses. To compare her to the woman I’d slept with in the past didn’t seem fair. She was in a different league.
Literally from another planet!
Pleasure throbbed through me. I sped up, losing the ability to hold back.
The faster I went, the louder she became. Her feelings were written all across her blissed-out face. She couldn’t have hidden her ecstasy from me even if she’d wanted to.
She didn’t seem to mind.
“Brandon! Brandon!” Casella moaned. “It’s so good! They never told me this is how sex feels.”
“Trust me. It doesn’t usually feel like this,” I grunted. I had to consciously contain my trembling. It felt like I’d melt if I stopped concentrating for even a second. And there was so much trying to snatch me away. The scent of her sweat-soaked skin flooded my mind. Her huge swaying breasts filled my vision. And then there was her body. So hot. So tight. Doing everything it could to drain me dry.
At least this time it wasn’t one-sided.
“Brandon!” she practically cried, holding up her arms. “Embrace me! Now! Please!”
I held her as tight as I could.
Her limbs, all of them, latched around me.
That was the final straw. Too soft, too sweet, and too damn sexy. All attempts at restraint failed. The dam burst and repairs weren’t possible. I pushed my hips down and released into her.
Casella’s trembling body accepted everything. Her squeezing thighs didn’t let me go.
My every pulse, my every drop, entered her. She took all I could give and so much more.
We didn’t move until long after my climax had subsided. I physically couldn’t until she stopped holding me so possessively.
“Oh, Brandon,” she panted. “That was wondrous. More than I was ever told. It’s as if you were destined to be my mate.”
“It’s done?” I said with a hint of disappointment.
“Yes. We’re now one in body and soul.”
“I can definitely feel the body part, but the soul…”
Casella nuzzled into my neck. “I’m sure you’ll feel it soon, my Brandon.”
I was feeling something alright. Tired, ecstatic, like the luckiest son of a bitch who’s ever lived. How had I gone from being abducted by aliens to mated to a beautiful alien princess? It was like rolling a twenty after a chain of ones.
Her exhausted breaths tickled my neck as Casella snuggled in for the count.
I still didn’t know much about this power thing but there was something I knew for certain. Strength or no strength, I was going to keep her safe.
Casella had placed her faith in me, and I wouldn’t let her down. I was going to make this second chance count.
Chapter 7
Do you know how amazing it feels to wake up next to a woman capable of taking your breath away? I didn’t until I awoke to Casella’s sleeping face. Even when she was out, she was beautiful. Her plump lips, breathing lightly, were ever so kissable. It took genuine effort not to steal something from them. One night of passion didn’t mean I could start plundering her mouth while she was out.
That really happened. We’re mates… whatever that means.
I didn’t feel any different. There were no metal claws growing from my hands and I was pretty sure I couldn’t shoot web. As for my soul… what did that feel like to begin with?
Maybe we should try mating again to make sure it worked?
That sounded more than just nice. If only we’d been in a situation that would have allowed it.
Using commendable willpower, I pulled myself from the welcoming warmth of Casella’s coat-wrapped body.
Faris was still at the entrance, showing us her back.
“Morning,” I said with a yawn. “Or afternoon, I suppose. How long was I out?”
“Too long,” Faris said with her usual cheer. This time she had a good reason to be less than sprightly.
Oh yeah. She heard the entire thing.
Well, this isn’t awkward at all.
“Anything happen?” I asked.
“No.”
“Ah…”
The conversation fizzled out unless you counted the whistling wind as a participant. Its frosty touch leaked into the entrance and slapped the exhaustion out of me.
If only it could have given me some tips on how to deal with Faris.
We haven’t exactly hit it off. And then she got to hear me sleep with her employer’s woman.
Boy, I’m making a real hash out of this.
It would be best if we got along. We had to cooperate. It was the only way we were going to survive.
“Thanks for keeping watch,” I said.
“Somebody had to,” Faris said dismissively.
“No, seriously. Thanks. For this and everything. We wouldn’t have made it this far without you. The way you handled that monster… I can’t believe how awesome you were. I thought that sort of stuff was reserved for movies but you—”
“Stop,” Faris said. “I know what you’re doing.”
I smirked. “Not subtle enough?”
“I won’t be swayed.”
I sighed. “It’s not like I was lying. It’s just… look. We’re in this together. There’s no point fighting.”
“You’re the one getting in the way,” Faris said.
“Is this about this morning? Casella could have froze! She’s lucky she’s not got hypothermia… or worse.” Her extremities were already blue. That didn’t mean she was immune to frostbite, as far as I knew.
“I know what I’m doing.”
“Do you? It wouldn’t surprise me if you were planning on taking her back out there.” The way Faris averted her eyes was concerning. “Are you serious?”
“Calling for help is our top priority,” she said. Her eyes seemed to glaze over. “Completing the mission comes before everything.”
Again, with that sudden bout of monotone. It was sort of creepy.
“No, surviving is.”
“You suggest we stay?”
“Only until we’re ready to go. We can always escape later. If we fail to survive, that’s it. Game over. No respawns.”
Faris crossed her arms and glowered. “Are you sure you don’t have an ulterior motive?”
“Like what?” I asked.
“You know.” Her eyes flicked toward the cave’s depths.
I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose. “Do you think I want to be stuck in this frozen hellhole any more than you? I want to go home. I want to stick on Netflix, curl up in front of the fire, and forget all about when some alien monster tried to rip my face off. But we’re not ready. You’ve seen what Casella’s wearing. She can’t go out in that.” I was only in the cave’s mouth and I was shivering.
Casella didn’t even have pants!
Faris kept her trap shut. Suddenly, she wasn’t looking quite so sure of herself.
“It’s not just the clothes,” I continued. “We need food and water. I haven’t had a thing to drink since I got here. My mouth’s like the Sahara.” Having sex before finding drinking water probably wasn’t the smartest thing I’d ever done. Not that I regretted it…
“We have all that at the ship,” Faris said.
“That’s all well and good, but…” I poked my head out of the cave and inspected our surroundings. It was as expected. Lots of snow supporting a lot of trees. “Do you even know where the ship is?”
Faris’s mouth fell open, but nothing came out.
I can’t believe her. She dragged Casella out in this and didn’t even know where she was going?!
I swallowed my anger. I was trying to improve our relationship, not fracture it. “Now you see the problem. Going on a wild goose chase in this weather would be suicide. What if we go the wrong way? What if, next time, we can’t find shelter? What do you think will kill us first? The cold or the monsters? We’ve only been here a day and we’ve found two of them. How many more do you think are lurking out there?” I happened to remember a certain set of prints bigger than I was.
Every sentence made Faris wince.
It wasn’t as if I wanted her to feel bad, but she had to know not to put Casella in so much danger. “Our number one priority is surviving. Everything else is secondary. Who knows? Last long enough and help might come of its own accord. I’m sure your lord guy won’t ignore Casella’s disappearance.”
“You have a point,” Faris said.
“That was the plan,” I said with a smirk. “You need to decide what’s more important. Getting off this planet or keeping Casella safe. Is it worth rushing this if it puts her in danger?”
“Completing the mission comes before everything.”
I wish she’d stop saying that.
At the very least she could try it with a little emotion in her voice.
Either way, I quirked a brow. “So, does that mean we’re in agreement?”
After a long grumble, Faris threw up her hands. “Fine.”
“Really?”
“Is that a problem?” she snapped.
“Not at all,” I said. “Just happy I got through to you.”
“I’m no idiot. I know sense when I hear it.” She snorted. “I can’t believe I’m taking advice from a male.”
“What’s wrong with being a guy?”
“You’d know if you were civilized.”
I really wasn’t a fan of their definition of that word.
Faris stood up. Her armor-clad body filled the cave’s entranceway. “I’ve got a condition.”
“Not this again,” I grumbled. “I thought we were on the same page?”
“To a degree.”
I sighed. “Alright, shoot.”
“The princess stays with me at all times,” Faris said.
I clicked my tongue. “You still don’t trust me?”
“Correct. Every male wants a zerrin bride. You are no exception.”
“Worried I’ll steal her away?”
“You wouldn’t be the first to try,” she said.
I knew that. I’d seen it with my own eyes. In fact, I’d jumped in to stop it. “Don’t worry about me. I know this is just a temporary gig. She belongs to that lord guy.”
“Lord Bogdan,” Faris corrected.
“Yeah, him. Casella and I are mates through necessity. Nothing more.”
“Remember that and there won’t be a problem.”
“Alright, but you better live up to your end of the bargain. No putting Casella in danger. That means no taking off on your own without telling me. In return, I’ll handle the nitty-gritty stuff.”
“Agreed,” she said.
It wasn’t quite a friendship, but at least we’d managed to forge some common ground. As long as Faris was a woman of her word, I didn’t need to worry about Casella quite as much. It also didn’t automatically dissolve all of our problems.
A cute yawn came from the back of a cave and a sleepy Casella followed. “Morning, Miss Faris. My Brandon. What’s for breakfast?”
“Nothing yet,” I said.
“Really and truly? Oh,” she mumbled, draping herself against me.
Faris glared at the two of us. Mainly me if we’re being honest.
“You’ll have to deal with it for now,” I said, stroking her bedhead. “Now back inside before you freeze. I don’t want an icicle for a mate.”
Did I just say ‘mate’?
Wow, I’m taking to this alien business quicker than I expected.
Don’t forget, it’s only temporary. This ends the moment we leave.
“Okay,” she said with a pout. “You’re coming too, yes?”
“I would if I could. The sun’s still up. We need to make the most of that.” I rubbed my dry throat. “Breakfast can wait until tomorrow. Water and firewood come first.”
“Will the snow not suffice?” Casella asked. “It’s all soggy.”
“Do not eat snow,” I warned. That’s one thing Keith had drilled into me.
At the time, I’d laughed it off. After all, when was I ever going to get stranded in some snow-covered wilderness?
Keith got the last laugh on that one.
At least, he will once I know what happened to him.
If he had the psychic knowledge to know I would end in a predicament like this, it’s unlikely he’d be in any danger.
If he could see the future, would he have taken me on that trip to begin with?
Why was I thinking this crap?
“Couldn’t we melt it?” Casella said. “We have Faris.”
“That’s… I never thought of that.”
Generally, melting snow was a waste of resources. Not something I knew about personally, of course. Secondhand information from my personal walking survival guide. However, his tips had never been caveated with separate advice for how to proceed if you happen to be stranded alongside a fire-breathing dragonoid alien chick.
“No,” Faris said.
“Why not?” Casella whined.
“Because I said so.”
“Don’t worry, I’ll find some,” I said as I toyed around with Casella’s messy locks. “There’s got to be a river somewhere.” That was if common sense still applied. After all, I was talking to a dragon girl and a beauty capable of gifting power through sex.
Then there was the small matter of finding it.
The nearby landscape offered no clues. It was a snow-drenched forest. Nothing more. If I wandered in without a plan, I wouldn’t be able to find my way back. There were no visible landmarks unless you could tell individual trees apart. I needed a way of knowing what direction I was heading in.
Of course!
I raided Casella’s pockets. Buried in a bed of wrappers was the perfect tool for the job: my compass.
Well, it was actually one of Keith’s which he’d forced me to take. But that was just splitting hairs.
“What’s that?” Casella asked.
“It’s a device for telling the direction. Every good hiker needs one.” So Keith told me. With it, finding my way back wouldn’t be a problem.
In theory.
In practice, the needle spun like a break dancer who couldn’t let things go.
“How does it work?” she asked.
“Not like this,” I grumbled.
Stupid piece of shit! First time I’ve ever needed you and you’re having a fit.
“Broken?” a grinning Faris said. “As expected from a primitive device.” She tapped her bracer. “This is how we civilized races find our way.” Her confident expression grew weaker as her pressing became more insistent.
