“I think that time did it,” she panted at me eventually. We smiled into each other’s eyes. “I feel really pregnant now.”

  I laughed, kissing her. “You probably are, but I don’t plan to stop trying any time soon.”

  She laughed, a sound of pure joy. “I have no doubt of that, Mr. Bossy.”
