Nashville, Tenn., July 10, 1862.

  General Forrest, commanding brigade, attacked Murfreesboro, routing ourforces, and is now moving on Nashville. Morgan is reported to be betweenScottsville and Gallatin, and will act in concert with Forrest, it isbelieved. Inform general commanding.
