From the Author

So much of this story is from my personal experiences, living life as a plus sized female. Life is never easy, but in a world/society where so much personal value is placed on what we see in the mirror or what our scale says to us, being larger than most is a tough life to live. We often forget that there are reasons behind the weight, and that it isn't always about a person who lacks adequate self-control. There are illnesses and other deficiencies that pad a woman with more curves than she usually wants to have, and we'd do well to remember our sense of empathy as we encounter others in life, both big and small.
I hope that in reading this book, big girls find a beginning to their journey of self-love (or at least the next step on a journey they've already begun), no matter what their size, and that others who do not suffer the plus-size stigma are able to get an inside view into the suffering of others.
Then again, if all you're looking for is a love story, push through the beginning and find yourself some hotness!  :)
