Hades Sent : Book One of the Sent Series, page 23
“Good, then let’s move.”
I turn toward Gabriella. “I guess you’ll take me one more time for old times’ sake?”
“Of course she will,” Elah answers for her. He takes Gabriella in one arm and I take the other. We drag her off the ledge and wait for her wings to unfold. When they do, we glide away from our own personal hell toward the place that will be our new home.
The wind cools my face as we fall. The cold replenishes my soul right down to bottom of my heart, and for the first time in my life, I finally feel free.
Acknowledgements
I want to thank my amazing friends who took the time to provide me with feedback on Hades Sent. Jennifer, Beth, Latisha, Teresa, Kristin, and Donna. Y’all joined me in my leap of faith and stuck through it to the end. Always encouraging me to continue on. I will always be grateful.
Thank you to my family who also took the time to read and give me feedback when I needed it. My sister Taylor, my mom Sherry, and my nana, Claudia. I appreciate all that you do.
Jake, you are always so eager to hear my ideas and give me the encouragement when I need it. I’ve never had such a supportive partner. I love you.
Easton and River. My boys. You will probably never know just how much you pull me from dark places. How much you make me smile and how proud I am to be your mom. I love you.
Many thanks to my editor, Jeanne Felfe, for your encouragement, praise, and hard work!

B.Y. Simpson hails from a small town located between Nashville and Memphis, Tennessee. She studied Child and Family Studies at The University of Tennessee at Martin. You can find B.Y. Simpson on Facebook at B.Y. Simpson-Author for news about future projects and an occasional cat pic.
