Praise for Andy Maslen's other novels Fans of Lee Child, Mark Dawson, Stephen Leather, Daniel Silva, Brad Thor, Vince Flynn, Andy McNab and Chris Ryan love the Gabriel Wolfe thrillers. "The 6th novel in the Gabriel Wolfe series by Andy Maslen. Yet again, Andy had surpassed himself. Only a 1/4 way through but a real page-turner. Another best seller, which I would 100% recommend to anybody looking for a cracking yarn. Suggestion - read the first four Gabriel Wolfe novels first to really get into the character." Ian Brown "Was really looking forward to the next in the Gabriel Wolfe series and was I disappointed - NO! Once again the plot is complicated and challenging and keeps the reader desperate to read more. Gabriel is a killer with a conscience and his relationships and escapades are extremely believable. If you want a book (or even a series) of books that will provide exciting holiday reading, or any other time, then these are the books for you." Mrs K Miles "This book is incredible. Andy Maslen in an amazing author, draws you in, keeps you there. Read his first four books and can't wait for the fifth. Would highly recommend all four of the books." Hit and Done

Andy Maslen

Thriller / Crime

When a vigilante loses control, nobody's safe Detective Inspector Stella Cole has almost completed her bloody quest to avenge the hit and run killings of her husband and daughter. Only one member of the legal conspiracy who murdered them remains. But he happens to be her boss: Detective Chief Superintendent Adam Collier. And he's not going to go down without a fight. His first move is to have Stella sectioned. While she's incarcerated in a psychiatric hospital, he hires a Maltese woman to kill her. Monica Zerafa is fearless, brutal and hungry for the cash Collier's promised her. But neither Collier nor Zerafa has reckoned with Stella's violent alter ego, "Other Stella". What's worse for Stella, this split-off part of her personality is growing stronger by the day. She wants control. The non-stop action switches from London, to a gangster's palatial home in rural Essex, then to Canada and an Ojibway reservation, and Chicago, before the final, bloody climax in a frozen Minnesota. A darkly disturbing crime thriller... Hit and Done is the third book in this hyper-violent trilogy about love, revenge and what a mother will do when pushed to the edge of sanity. The body count keeps on growing as Stella confronts all the people who want to harm her ... and metes out her own special brand of justice. Fans of Kathy Reichs, Karin Slaughter, Tess Gerritsen, Henning Mankell, Jo Nesbo, Jeffery Deaver and Ian Rankin will love Stella Cole. Praise for the Stella Cole trilogy Hit and Run "After the first chapter I was hooked and I was really rooting for Stella Cole all the way to the last page. You are taken on mazy journey as Cole incurs significant emotional trauma and has to find her way out of her own deep and dark black hole. From there she has to confront her demons and find a way to overcome a shadowy world of power and the elite within the establishment. Simply put this book is un-putdownable!" Badabing666 Hit Back Harder Noooo! That ending twist was so unexpected and that's what I exclaimed when I read it! This book kept me awake at night... it didn't give me nightmares although I suppose the graphic detail could have done. No, it was its gripping storyline that was the problem. I like to read for a short while before settling to sleep at night, but I couldn't put the book down and ended up with some very, very late nights. Andy's portrayal of Stella Cole, the main character, draws you in. I found myself trying to warn her when I read the potentially dangerous situations she was heading for. That is how powerful Andy's storytelling style is. I can thoroughly recommend this book, BUT, don't start reading before bedtime if you've got to get up for work the next day. Carol E. Thanks for stopping by my Amazon author page. I’m Andy Maslen, creator of Gabriel Wolfe and Stella Cole. I’ve always loved reading thrillers, so when I took the plunge and began work on my first novel – Trigger Point – it seemed natural to me to follow my heroes. A lot of my readers ask me if I have ever served in the military. I haven’t, but I have some close friends who have. They’ve been incredibly generous with their time (and patience!), explaining how things work, from weaponry and materiel, to the everyday language and behaviour of soldiers. There are tons of people out there doing varied and interesting (and sometimes dangerous) jobs. As an author it’s fantastic to be able to contact them and find they’re only too happy to discuss their work. I’ve interviewed murder detectives, pharmacology professors, military planners, movie fight arrangers, Special Branch officers … and they’ve all shared invaluable details to bring my stories to life. I hope their contributions increase your enjoyment of my books. In my time, I’ve worked in a record shop, as a barman, as a door-to-door DIY products salesman and a cook in an Italian restaurant. I eventually landed a job in marketing. I always try to take away something positive from any experience, and often find a memory will surface of a situation I’ve been in, or a person I’ve met. Tyton Press I created the Tyton Press imprint to publish my fiction. My non-fiction works are published by Marshall Cavendish and Kogan Page. The logo, drawn by Darren Bennett, is a barn owl, the scientific name for which is Tyto alba.
