Hello, superheroes.
Yes, you. ALL of you.
Everyone who has been trying to make their own way through a thorny thicket of years and trials and triumphs and all the doldrums in between when you are becalmed upon windless seas and it’s all you can do just to stay afloat another day.
These stories are for you. Because of all that you were, and are right now, and may still be in the process of becoming.
I can see your light, even when you think it is dim and flickering, and I just want to remind you that it is there. This is your world, and YOUR century, and there a hope for a Val Hall acknowledgment for any of us who might need a sanctuary in the end. In the meantime just remember that empathy and compassion are not weakness, bullying is not strength, and sometimes just keeping a precious memory alive is a superpower all of its own.
